Honestly, it's the first drama where I already started another rewatch. And it is in no way boring. The atmosphere, the settings, the acting, the music all just feels a little bit like coming back home (even if Jing Cheng isn't my preferred place to live). I've said all this many times before. This show is so well made it never annoys me to watch it allover again.
One huge advantage is that I got to learn more chinese the more I watch scenes again I already know. The best way of learning if you have something like KaH that keeps you motivated on a really high level.

Definitely worth a watch more than once. KaH leaves such a huge impression because it is how it is and was produced with so much love for the detail. It's perfect for me, even with the sometimes not so small flaws. Saw that interview with Yi Bo Chen where he explained that the director did an amazing job guiding the actors and let them come up with own ideas how to act. I think that has a huge share on the magic of KaH.

And I like adding good dramas to your lists :D and I hope that Killer and Healer will get more attention for it is the best chinese drama in many aspects I've watched so far. But it's totally underrated :(
Sorry, I usually don't spam that much but you created quite a number of lists when I read the title I just can think of Killer and Healer. It has some rememorable funny scenes (one regarding a necktie, is probably the best). I added Killer and Healer.
I only rember one drama where I really unreasonably hoped for the second lead to get the girl. Legend of the Dragon Pearl. I think it mainly was because Mao Zi Jun is such an exceptional actor, esp. for tragic roles.

KaH needed more than two years to see the light of day. And what did we get? One of the best chinese dramas ever.
