Yes I think so, too. Have Winter Begonia on my "plan to watch" - list. But I need to get out of KaH first ... I haven't watched any other drama since about a month .... how weird. Oh one drama I started but watched only the first episode. Humans (a few years ago I've watched 2 seasons of the swedish original ... was really good but got a bit draggy so I stopped after 2 seasons).

Oh yes, you're right ... I forgot to mention the red lantern. It was shown in "Farewell my Concubine" (I plan to watch this, even if it's a bit older).

mhh no ... KaH definitely has romance. I mean there are so many scenes which just scream romance (these red beans, the title of the drama, CYZ reciting the clearly romantic poem just before he tried to sacrifice himself for JYL) ... all these hints like for example in WoH, too (even if I dropped it the cutsleeve in WoH is clearly a reference to romance for me ... I learned about that story from the novel of The Untamed :)

Ok, one of you make a soulmate list if you couldn't find one ... with just one drama .... KaH ;P.

Nah joke aside, I will shift bromance to soulmate ... it's way stronger.

I think KaH is also about friendship (but not just about that) so for me it fits....and KaH is the best drama in every category ... (my in no way objective view :).

And another dilemma. I'm fine with every decision you make... in the end it's yours alone :) can you share the link? I will vote for KaH for sure.

You can wait. When I've watched it then I can tell (don't know though when I will be able to watch). For me it is totally ok to be conservative. I see myself also more on the conservative side but if it's reasonable I can bear with adult scenes 'til a specific point. If it's just for the show with no meaning then there is no point at all in watching them.

I think I know what you mean with surprised. After watching KaH I read some stuff about MZJ and in my opinion he's at first an artist and will take on the roles which catch his interest. Even if these roles will cross boundaries I think he will take them nonetheless if they are compelling to him. If my impression of him is right then he won't think much of the expectations of others (fans, critics). So expect the unexpected. If scenes are meaningful in an artistic sense or for the story and not going too far then I'm ok with them.

I'm waiting for subs. Hopefully it doesn't take long after the first airing. I don't think that you will see too much adult content... not sure though.
