Found this poignant summary of Taxian Jun that I never knew I needed :')BOOK SPOILERS ALERT!https://engong-gege.tumblr.com/post/648176932441276416/your-love-carved-onto-stone
"Mo Ran was what he could have become, a future he sacrificed to save Chu Wanning"
Can I just hug Taxian Jun? His character was one of the most pitiful one among all,Having unknowingly buried all his love and kindness to save the man he loved just to end up hurting him in the worst way. Going insane with emotions he couldn’t understand and memories he couldn’t remember. To the point he no longer understood what love meant, to the point, being reborn, desire became a demon that haunted him.
That's one of the reasons why, no matter how cruel he was, I couldn't hate him in the end.
To all the people waiting of HYX to air, please be patient. Us being too vexed and anxious is neither going to make the drama air nor helping anyone. Too much hype is potentially going to damage both us and the drama cast and crew because it serves as an excellent ground for people to create fake rumors to boost their fame. With how huge our fandom is and how much HYX is anticipated, these rumors can damage its image given the fact that there are many who haven't read the novel, are on the process of reading it or are waiting to watch the drama (some looking forward, others skeptical having seen and heard that there are violent troupes used in the novel)
Though I understand where all this anxiety comes from as I've been waiting for an year now, please refrain from spreading or believing false rumors, Don't believe any "inside news" or fake assurances. Just trust tencent and other strictly official websites
And neither The Untamed nor Word of Honor is going to set any limit for HYX. All these dramas have only expanded the demand for more bl adaptations and will never in any case be detrimental to the success of other adaptations given story, core essence and acting remains true. So let's stop comparing all the dramas out there, each deserves its own respect.
Amidst the rising pandemic, let's all take care of ourselves and stay safe while patiently waiting for the upcoming dramas
i won’t expect too much from this, i just started the novel and from the very beginning MoRan is a douch, sex-crave…
Not just a new leaf, but since I don't want to spoil it for you, all I'll say is every action and every word spoken in this novel has a meaning you'll come to understamd later on. As for the bromance part, we can just wait and see.
After being desperately hopeful for the drama to get released on 8th and loading a lot of anxiety into myself, reading all the coments below, I finally realised something. I know it's real hard to wait, but the cast and crew are having it hard too. None of the dates were officially confirmed, so we can't blame them for flames they never started.
For now, I choose to make peace with myself and chill around until the drama drops. I'm closing my ears to all rumors, nothing will move me anymore other than the official trailer or episode 1.
I can't, please just end my suffering already. I can't go through this yearning all over again another day. Please have mercy on me, I'm begging you *-*
I'm not the one who's hopefully opening up MDL, youtube and every other SNSs every 30 minutes to see if the trailer is out. No, that's absolutely not me ¡¤¡
All my hairs have grayed My skin wrinkled Tears dried up Expectations extinguished Anxiety skyrocketing Life hanging on a thread of humor Yet I can't hope to see, The way to Immortality Guess my salvation Is fucked up.
While we wait. Without giving any spoilers. Which are some side character(s) are you most looking forward to seeing…
I look forward to Luo FengHua and Nangong Xu, their story was heart wrenching, all they wanted was to eat oranges in shares of three bickering on rooftops. Ofcourse Jiang Xi and Xue Zhengyong. And the Mei Hanxue pair, I can't wait to see their gorgeous appearance
I usually prefer to see a wide variety of stories, be it fluffy, angst filled, twisted or violent. I do enjoy this show, I find the main couple funny and interesting; the step brothers, honestly I like the way theyre dealing with it. They've early on revealed YongJie's true nature to XingSi, so I expect a lot of development and conditioning before they actually end up together.
There's very little to no spoiler to what I've written, but I checked the spoiler box just in case.
And that's how I got tricked into thinking that this novel would be all fluffy and nonsensical. When I started this novel, it was out of pure boredom, I had zero expectations, much less any idea that this novel would be later etched into my memory after spending hours reading it and experiencing repeated heartbreaks, deep heartaches, and sheding tears of sadness and happiness.
We are all hyper aware of the enormous fanbase Immortality has. Weighed down by The Untamed and Word of Honor, there's immense pressure on Immortality owimg to it's twisted and intricate plot, beautiful story, perfect cast, huge budget, and what not. Basically it's got everything it needs to give out a legendary drama. Neither do I want it to surpass The Untamed, nor do I want it to be any bolder than Word of Honor. All I need is a drama that can do justice to the emotions we readers felt while we shed tears of anguish and happiness living through the book. I need a MoRan who is innocently in love, I need a Mo Weiyu who is grief stricken, hateful and pitifully confused, I need a Taxian Jun who has ruthless blood lust, and is empty, depraved and lonely, I need a Mo Gongzi who is filled with warmth, burning yet restrained love, remorse and endless guilt and grief. I need a Chu Wanning who is cold and strict, who is sturdy yet alone, who has endless warmth inside a unbreakable tough shell, whose love is selfless and uncorrupted, I need a Sia Sini who calls MoRan his Shixiong, who sits beneath the tree holding a pot of chicken broth feeling wronged and betrayed, I need a Chu Fei who holds onto every piece of warmth left in Taxian Jun, who had nothing yet held the only emperor of cultivation world back, who was tortured yet never gave up.
All I need is they do justice to this masterpiece, as long as they can stay true to the emotions and circumstances portrayed in the novel, this show will truly stand tall and proud.
This is not a criticism, just curiosity, but what about the characters didn't you understand properly? To me they…
Actually, more than saying I did not understand the characters, I would have liked to see a deeper portrayal because the character backgrounds were impressive and had a lot more potential. Please do say me your character understanding if you wish to, I love to read about it.
I liked the theme, as always, korean BLs have refreshing stories. The acting was good, but the relationship development was too fast paced given the short span of the drama. Wish it was longer, if it had more length the story would have seemed more plausible and less overwhelming. I could not even keep up with the developments and understand the characters properly. Otherwise, the story had a great potential and this is worth binge watching
I've literally bled tears reading the novel, initially not so interested because of the very very misleading synopsis and the beginning of the novel, erm...all the centineal c**k, I still can't forget that part, I almost choked reading that.
Reading 2ha was like going though a whole new journey, I felt like a bystander walking through their life, living beside them, feeling all their pain and growth, for me, all the character were not just characters, they became my friends and were humans I watched live.
I've always loved reading, I've read classics, I've read a variety of books but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that my favorite book would end up being a translated chinese web novel, I feel my life has been fulfilled now that I've read 2ha.
When I completed this novel almost an year back and came to know there was going to be a live adaptation, I blanked out and ascended straight to heaven. And when I saw the cast, I combusted. There cannot be a freaking better choice of actors, they're just perfect. I really really hope and believe that the one year wait will be worth it.
And few lines of the novel I'll live to remember would be "An absolute unit, truly awe inspiring" (LOL, that translation was awe inspiring), "Shizun, pay attention to me", "Hell is too cold, Chu WanNing, accompany me", "You're the best best Shizun, I'm the worst worst disciple".
I'll write no more, this is making me want to read it all over again, and I can't take it for the 3rd time.
I don't have energy to say any more

Hope the crew and cast do not have it too hard either, but as we all know it's hard for us and them. What has 2ha done to us?
My skin wrinkled
Tears dried up
Expectations extinguished
Anxiety skyrocketing
Life hanging on a thread of humor
Yet I can't hope to see,
The way to Immortality
Guess my salvation
Is fucked up.
Ofcourse Jiang Xi and Xue Zhengyong. And the Mei Hanxue pair, I can't wait to see their gorgeous appearance
In any case, I like this so far
I might even start believing that I'm hallucinating about the whole drama adaptation ~_~
