There is an Update...Please read https://koalasplayground.com/2024/02/03/production-of-c-drama-immortality-sends-re-cut-drama-for-airing-permit-and-believes-this-time-it-will-pass-because-the-drama-has-female-leads-for-love-lines/#:~:text=This%20is%20not%20a%20surprise,drama%20was%20filmed%204%20years
As someone who's read the novel, it's safe to say that it's no longer going to be an adaptation of Erha if they bring in the "female cast" as female lead. That'll be stupid and pointless in hundreds of thousands of ways and why even bother with the story?
This is likely to be one of the millions of fake rumors that we have gone through, because what they say is never going to be possible, it would be wrong in various levels of morality if you know what I mean.

Title Last Twilight Spoiler
Lovely drama, fantastic cast and breathtaking storyline.
Initially, I had been a bit put off by the fact that they seemed to imply Day being able to see again gave him back a happier and perfect life. But it just struck me that it was just my thoughts riding that way. When Day said that he wondered what Mee's life would be like if it was normal, I'd thought that goes against the message of the whole show.
But then he said life amidst dilema had made him forget what it was like to live a normal life and how happy he could be. He also said he was heartbroken after finishing last twilight for the first time in the peak because he saw himself as Mee.
Then it dawned on me that he was saying how his disability and journey through it affected him so much that he forgot what living a normal life felt like. They did not imply that Day being blind was a not normal, rather that his blindness and his grief over it had led him thinking that the life he lived with the disability was not normal and that he couldn’t be happy. With that thought, he'd imagined himself as Mee and wondered how her life (his life) would be if it was normal. It was later that he realized he'd forgotten what it was like to live a normal life with happiness treasuring the small moments and memories, blindness having nothing to do with it all.

This message made me love the show a 100 times more than I already did. A huge thankyou to P'Aof and all the cast and crew for bringing us this amazing master piece.

I really wish more and more people would watch this. I'm a bit salty about how some BLs with not-so-original, weak plots and mediocre acting (or just plain old school BL stories) in general have millions of views but BLs like this don't get enough attention! I really want this to blow up so people can get to know how amazing every aspect of this seriea is. Not perfect, but definitely one of the best.

I think people need to chill quite a bit before regarding this series as a total waste or time, boring plot, etc.. i respect everyone's opinions, but calling the series outright useless and boring is taking it too far.
And as far as Pat's character is considered, he's cried a good 3-4 tines in the whole series and suddenly everyone's annoyed with his character.
Also, for people who think his character has no depth and is bland, please analyse the series a bit more. It appears that way because of unclear depiction in the series, but there are subtle hints all over. And people are not perfect and not always appealing in their characteristics.
Instead of immediately pointing out that the character is poorly written and portrayed, a bit more analytical approach would be nice. Ofcourse many watch series as a purely entertaining tool and would not like to go into deeper details, obviously because entertainment is suppossed to relieve your stress not add on to it. But, it would be nice to put in a little more effort at understanding the character before commenting on it.
As far as I've noticed, Pat is like that becasue that is his character. It's in no way poorly written, just hard to like and completely side with. In my opinion it only makes the series more realistic. There have been significant changes to his charater well over the past 9 episodes, so that's a positive point

Also, Jeng is in no way perfect either, and we'll get to see (elaborated) why in the next episode.

Title Step by Step Spoiler
Okay, 10th episode served us intimacy from the depths of hell, it BURNED. The wait was worth it to finally see them lay their hands on each other. As they say the more you wait for something, the more precious is it when you finally get it.

Man and Ben delivered being in love, it was so raw, so obvious and so in love. Their body language screamed Jeng and Pat in Love, nothing held back in the revelation. Man what a ride it was, Mature Men in BLs should be the new standard, like Jeng just being there elevated the show to a whole new standard.

Chot. Bruce- The man deserves a standing ovation, easily the best (outstanding) actor out of them all. The character so well written and carved, the only person needed to screw some logic into Pat's thick head.

Now to Pat's character, I know many are annoyed at him bawling everytime things get hard, it's just my take on his character. Rather than the character being written sloppily, I'd lean more towards poor showcasing of the facets of his personality. It's obvious that Pat grew up sheltered, dependent on his parents (bro doesn't know to cook anything other than instant noodles for the reference), and unused to the working style of Asian workplaces. As a relatively new employee, he finds it hard to fit in as well as deal with the pressure of the huge company. He's not as put together and mature as he appears, but. But he has a huge potential with all the interesting ideas he comes up with, also somewhat naively brave (No sane person would step up to talk back/be honestly critical to their superiors without expecting to be sacked or reprimanded). Neverthless, he is in no level to take on the position of a
manager, he needs more experience in dealing with his emotions and reactions.
And moving on to Pat crying in the previous episode, I think it relates to all the new changes, pressure, relationships and responsibility he had to endure. He must've put every fiber of his being into holding them, and it took a toll. Forgetting ones own birthday might not be a huge deal to people who usually don't pay it any mind, but to someone like Pat, it must've been a huge blow. Also, his reaction to Jeng's confession was immature and cruel. But I wouldn't have expected him to be anything other than that with the recent breakup with Put.
Not to mention the fact that he was initially very interested in Jeng, but it all went downhill with him turning out to be his boss. Or rather, he lost (more likely blocked) his interest and chose to forget about it because now Jeng was not some commoner he can have a try with. To be real, most people do not think of starting a relationship with their superiors, especially one as nitpicky and strict as Jeng. Not to mention, workplace romances are prone to have shitty rumors and nasty consequences. But feelings can't be controlled and unknown to himself, Pat was slowly familiarizing himself with Jeng and on the way developed an intimacy, which later on, he might/might not have realized and deemed that it was an impossible story.
But his inner tumoil was no reason to hurt Jeng like that, but yup, stuff happens.

Now onto Jeng. Now he might seem like a very mature, accepting, bright green flag. Nope. NO.
He, like Pat, was drawn into the interesting employee he met, who, unlike others who followed strict Thai workplace ethics, seemed to be more open minded (they both stayed abroad for a period, so yeah) and well, cutely awkward. But then, he had to draw a line as his boss and man, he dug a canyon in between with his strict and overbearing management. As he realized, was made to realize what he did, he gave in and agreed to change which is a wonderful characteristic to be depicted. I won't go as far as to say he was totally wrong in reprimanding Pat, a lot of his points were worthy of being said, it could be the curt and unfeeling way of communication that brought what could've been constructive criticism to blame. As we move on, we see Jeng falling fast and hard as it goes from furtive glances to full on obvious heart eyes and longing. His dealing with Put was what you'd call professional, and very mature, very well done. Now here comes his major issue again, communication. He is not very adept at conveying his feelings, somewhat stilted. Also, he is not a very mature person when it comes to love, rather he seems awkward and poorly aware/somewhat ignorant about the surrounding circumstances, consequences and people. When it comes to Pat, daddy just can't think straight (every pun intented). He's just in love, but his love would never be enough to sustain their relationship. He's ever a flawed character and I love it. Im tired of seeing mature people acting maturely always. C'mon, they're humans too, surely they have flaws too?

I think the conflicts brought into light in the next episode is well expected given the lack of proper communication between the two (people talk!!) And poor management of their relationship.

Now onto what could've made the series better: proper timelines, Jaab and Jane (WTF did they do with their storyline?), crisp execution of the side stories (Ae&Co), few more extra episodes (30 mins of intimacy is in no way honourable after waiting for an eternity of 9 episodes), MORE COMMUNICATION- Please talk for heavens sake!! Also, it would've been beautiful to see Pat and Jeng go out on dates, casually sit and talk couple nonsense, cuddle and spend time out of their office with each other (personally would've loved to see how they maintained work- love life balance)

In the end, the series would've been more of a masterpiece if there were a few more episodes (around 16 or so) as it has so much more potential that the already commendable level they've tried to achieve.
Every series has its own drawbacks, but well, i still adore this series fow staying true to the workplace concept and the amazing actors and characters.

I hope the next episode will be a tad bit more streamlined with confident face-off against the issues, but not every person in real life would be able to stand up against all the problems they face and emerge unscathed, so it's just my wishful fantasy that doesn't like to see them both and myself suffer after barely being able to quench the slow burn of the 9 episodes.

This series has a lot more potential than what has been delivered so far. In terms of screenplay and story, there are lot of empty spaces which would have been better filled without unecessary side scenes and better execution since the series is already shorter than the conventional 12 episode ones, even when the plot holds potential for a lot lot more content. The acting is excellent, especially Bank's, and Mos has done a pretty great job for a beginner, the budget seems to be high, camerawork, artstyle and cinematography are beautiful in most of the shots except some, which makes me wonder if they had to film some scenes seperately later after everything was wrapped up.

As for the plot, man what a beautifully flawed plot with characters littered with imperfection which makes it even more juicy and promising with big conflicts and equally hotter chemistry. The lovely chemistry, I would say was not utilized for most of the part, I mean give me more scenes with heart-stopping push and pull, soul wrenching pain and delicate love.

It feels like I'm a third person standing outside, getting a glimpse of my university mates' lovestory in passing, bits and bites from here and there. So much was left unsaid, relationship transitioning so fast that viewers are left to assume what could've happened in between.

The series is good, but did not attain the most promising stage it had. I'm in no way pulling it down, but really wish they'd done more, even more seeing how rare these kind of flawed and humane characters with many probable conflicts are written in BLs.

Still gonna watch it, and really hope Mos and Bank star together in more series after this gets over.

After 20 Minutes you can't possibly tell what this story is about. This is one of the few "BLs" that's not all…
Hmm, actually the intro might not have made sense to you because you've not watched any more than the first 20 minutes which does not ever touch on the main plot, you can't even call it an appetizer. The intro is light-hearted, more like a kid's fairy tale dream, because this drama speaks of a miracle. This miracle, in the end, is realized to be more of a satire, I would not touch more upon it as it's the core of the plot. The intro is not meant to fool anyone, it just highlights and brings out a fluffy, fairytale vibe that is more of a play on screen with emotions, "what you see is not always there." It hits harder when you finish the 16 episodes and go back to watch the intro. It almost seems like it's laughing at all the suppossed "Happily ever after" dreams, embracing it gently. It's a clever filming done craftily. And most of the scenes in the intro are not seen in the drama.

I do not mean to put down your opinion, but would love it if you reconsider and watch it through. It talks about so many critical issues without shying away, a true rare genre to find in BLs. Leans more towards family drama and is slow-burn, but delivers every punch right to the point.

If you'd like to reconsider watching it, it would be nice as it's such a waste to let go of this gem. If not, it's fine either way, to each their own 😁

I would've:Had Talay/Tun have more of a convo about how their lives changedMade real Tess less of an asshole.…
I think it would be best to look at it as a story that can hold different perspectives from the way you want it to be, basically since the writer is a different individual who might have had vastly different views on the story. Not everything has to have set reactions and endings, they can actually be anything and everything.
And, people do not just change for the better, sometimes they do not, it is just how it is, personally this turn out was a way more "as realistic as it can get" occurrence for me. As for Talay not having a more dynamic reaction, he was with Puen for over 1½ years, and with the body swap, the both placed very little importance on who or what the real person was, especially Talay who fell for Puen knowing close to nothing about him. So I found the reaction adequate, especially after seeing how much of a wreak he became after realising Puen went back alone, while he stayed.

I am aware people have different expectations, and I respect yours.
Just suggesting a slightly different angle for you to look at the show, you know a fresh approach😁

I was hesitant to watch VV as it was still airing and I didn’t have a strong impression of it much like Cupid's last wish, both being fastasy-based, which I'm not a very huge fan of. But to say I was impressed is an understatement. I fell in love with it.

The chemistry could have been a little shaky in the beginning, but it didn’t matter at all as the situation didn’t call for it. Also the fact that it shone brighter as the series went by made the story even more credible and heart throbbing, like they were falling for each other right in front of you, out the screen .

Let's talk about details. Man, I'm in love with the different color themes each episode hosted, such beautiful inclusions and effects, not to mention how accurate it was in describing the mood of each episode. I love how pink was stressed over and over, everywhere, starting from the poster to lighting, food and dresses.

The characters are a fresh twist to the usual ones, they seem plain at first, but people who took a closer look would have noticed the amount of thought put into them, especially Puen. I loved Kita throughout, man was so dependable to push some slice of life into the series.

The dynamics between Talay and Tun was very interesting and exasperating. The thin line between friendship and love was dug into a huge road they could walk on, the uncertain and beautiful relationship explored to the max. Their love, likes, friendship, misgivings, longing, fear were all so captivatingly portrayed with gentle nuances, not too less, not too much.
Only criticism is the sliw progression of their love life, but it's totally understandable for 2 people who never dated in the past.

Sea and Jimmy did a marvelous job in fitting into the characters and all the cameos were a treat to the eyes. Camera works, coloring, lighting and direction was done with great care and dedication, it just shows. The theme in itself is captivating, not to mention that Sea switched to Ohm's body and Jimmy into Nanon's. Couldn’t help imagining them with these dynamics. Also special mention to wadrobe, it was impeccably fitted.

I see people comparing VV to Star in my mind, and honestly, my personal opinion is that, the latter doesn't stand a chance. The story was the same old high school crush- college love themed, screenwriting was okay, but plot holding too many plot holes did not fit in. Actors did a pretty good job, but it was nowhere near enough, guessing direction fell short. Basically, hashtags and fanbase do not determine the worth of any series. There are so many under-rated bls, Triage, Something in my room, Dear doctor, Miracle of the teddy bear, Killer Healer just to name a few. The fact that these didnt trend doesn't mean they fall short in any way. Personally, I cane across a lot of promotions for SIMM, and cutie pie, but neither stood up to the effort, at least the latter had a good chemistry.

I do not like to compare series, but if trending hashtags and fan base defines how good a series is, I'll have to plainly disagree.

Waiting for the last 2 episodes😵
