So let me get this straight, U guys have a problem with Esther playing a role just according to the script? So what she selects these type of roles. She is super good at it so y wouldn't she? Her acting os so natural in SAL. She truly embodied Jiang mu's character through all of her micro expressions n gestures. She switched to serious acting when the scenes demanded in the Nanjing arc. This proves that she is a pro who can adjust to any role.
Also I wanna mention that someone on insta/youtube(i don't remember exactly where) said that we gotta see Mumu from Zhao's pov. So, she is this bubbly, cute girl to him. It's not always necessary to have strong, introverted or shy fls in every single drama. Y is it so hard for some ppl to accept that not eveyone will behave the same. That would be insane. It doesn't matter what the age is but some girls really like to act to cute in front of the person who pampers them n what's so wrong about it.
I have seen ppl r a bit too comfortable in hating SAL or Esther coz we fans always try to understand that diff ppl have diff opinions. We don't even tell them to watch the drama like I have seen in other mdl discussion drama pages where some would promote their fav dramas like its their daily job. N to be honest I don't blame them, u can't just shame a person if they like a drama or the actors who r working so hard for it.
