Oh god u just took the words out of my mouth. Leads shying away from doing intimate scenes especially when the novel has tons of those steamy scenes is so frustrating for me. I always respect when actors don't wanna do certain scenes but then don't choose ROMANCE projects if u don't like. Keeping things too vanilla for a story that already has those scenes is such a waste imo.

At times I feel that maybe the actors or directors dont have any issue with the scenes coz they understand that it's a form of art. But the government is like no wait we have to protray it their own style. The reason y some Taiwanese dramas have better romance scenes like the drama Lesson In Love. Yes I completely agree with u. I was just talking about the outfits coz op mentioned about costume design. Without Esther the outfit changes wouldn't have made much difference tbh. It was Esther who gave in the effort n carried the role in both the arcs like pro. Just like u, I also wanna emphasise that Xinxin deserves a lot of praise for creating such top-tire chemistry. Even the scriptwriter praised our YSX for that. I'm so happy for her. She deserves more love n praise. I hope both Heyu n Esther can be successful in their lives.
