From another point of view, if the purpose of this drama was to promote Kim Seon Ho, then we actually need to praise the writer, lol.

All of this being said, it’s not that I don’t have sympathy for Do San. He’s struggled a lot mentally and…
I completely agree with you. A lover is the least he needs right now. Do San needs to find confidence from within himself. Actually, they should have just completely foregone the romance and focused solely on the business world and the inner growth of each character. And since Do San has the most growing-up to do, he would have been perfectly justifiable as the first lead. They could all have become friends, help each other, guide each other, maybe with a little business-related rivalry thrown in to create more tension, and everything would have been fine.

What care!!! He left a drunk girl alone
I think the way you saw it is also the way the writer/director wanted it to be seen. And since it's just a drama, of course nothing would happen to Dal Mi while she's alone in the park. But I can't unsee the fact that in real life leaving an intoxicated person behind alone is extremely dangerous and should never be done. It doesn't even have anything to do with being in love with that person or not, it's just common sense. That scene really bothered me.

Omg yes, I couldn't believe my eyes. Even if we forget everything else, this is really unforgivable. How could he put her in danger just so that he can go and put on that suit? He put himself first again, wanting to impress her with the suit so that she would hopefully forgive him for the lies. At this point I don't even buy it anymore that he's actually in love with Dal Mi. It seems more like an obsession to win her over to me.

unpopular opinion, I did a step back from love triangle, just to look at the main StartUp story and...there is…
True. This drama doesn't deserve to be called a business drama. Right now it's basically a mixture of a badly written rom-com (Dal Mi and Do San) and a makjang drama (Ji Pyung and all the injustice in the world).

I respect the comments here but ND seeking independence from JP is not bad at all. Seeking a quid pro quo cuz…
I agree with you. But that unfortunately doesn't change the fact that he seeks independence for all the wrong reasons. All he thinks about is Dal Mi, he's never felt the need to be independent from Ji Pyung just for the sake of independence. I'm not sure if this can be considered good character growth. Even if the outcome will benefit his growth, the motivation is still wrong.

I have watched till episode 6. Should I drop this drama. My thoughts on characters so far:1. I like NDS, he seems…
1. His crying scenes until ep. 6 are nothing. He'll cry a whole sea later on.
2. SDM will lose all her confidence and become stupid, but that's at least justifiable since she suffered a big blow.
3. HJP will shine even more with each episode while he gets every possible sh*it thrown at him. And forget about the bromance, NDS and his friends all hate him.

Tbh, this drama had maybe the strongest opening episodes I've seen. And I can't believe this mess right now is still the same drama.

There are still some things worth watching though, like Kim Seon Ho's excellent acting. It's for you to decide.

b-but.... what if Yong Shil is Yong San's brother creation (‘◉⌓◉’)
Oh, I didn't think of that but that would also finally solve the big mystery of how they actually got their hands on Yong Shil. And it would also perfectly fit with what the writer is doing with Ji Pyung. Give him even more pain and rob him of the only friend he has. Not that it's already sad enough that his only friend is a freaking AI, lol.

It's such a waste of her talent and her character is actually interesting. They could've done so much more with…
I'd have loved to see Ji Pyung and In Jae being paired up together, now that would have been a real power couple! But now it's way too late for that. I hope they won't actually put them together in the end just so that everyone gets a love line even though they had no interactions at all so far.

I couldn't agree more, that would be wonderful! Sadly, the chances for this to happen do indeed seem to be extremely low.

Okay, now I've calmed down a little, I was so angry after watching the latest episode. I've given up on the plot now. I'll try to just enjoy Kim Seon Ho's excellent acting from now on and don't care about the actual drama anymore. The confession scene and the epilogue were definitely big highlights! The confession was so simple yet impactful. It really showed once again how mature and respectful Ji Pyeong is and Kim Seon Ho really nailed it.
The writer still does some things right after all, I guess that's why we're all so angry. The drama could have been so much better than it is. It's like the writer had all the right ingredients but mixed them in a way that a dish comes out that doesn't taste good.

I think I understand what the writer is trying to do with this drama. She’s attempting to play with Kdrama tropes…
This! I think you're right on point. And I too really hope that it's a double bluff, that would be the only way to somehow save this mess the writer created.

Wtf did I just watch, it's getting even worse than I imagined. If it weren't for Kim Seon Ho, I'd drop this by now. Is the writer now trying to turn Ji Pyung into a villain with that plot twist or what? Seriously, he doesn't get love, he doesn't get friends, and now he gets contempt. What kind of message is the writer trying to convey here? That life is a b*tch?

They recently mentioned on 1N2D that the kiss scene from the drama got 11 million views on Youtube! I guess that says everything, lol. It's really one of the best.

Secretly hoping his new drama is a start up spin off of where HJP finds love :)
I second that! I never understood the obsession with love triangles.

Oh, I love the writer of his new drama as well (hopefully it won't turn into another the writer seems to be in a slump revelation), and judging from her previous dramas, I'm pretty sure there will be romance as well. And even if there isn't, the drama's description screams he can show everything he got, so I really hope he accepts the role (I don't think there is any reason for him to turn it down except schedule conflicts maybe). And I want to see him with a talentend actress who is on par with him like Shin Hye Sun maybe. Anyway, I'm eagerly waiting for the confirmation that he'll star in it as well as the announcement of the female lead.

Even the ratings for 1N2D are rising. I bet this is also because of Kim Seon Ho's newfound popularity.

Right. I also watched his recent V live and he's always so thankful for the love he receives. He appreciates every single fan. I really like this trait of his.

Btw, he also mentioned there that his favorite character of the ones he played so far is Rae Wan from You Drive Me Crazy. I was so happy to hear that because it's my favorite too. I freaking loved that drama special and wished it would have been a full-length drama. Whoever hasn't seen it yet should definitely watch it!

The number of Kim Seon Ho's instagram followers already more than doubled since the drama started! No matter how pissed I am with where the story is going, I'm so happy for Kim Seon Ho gaining popularity as an actor. People really slept on his amazing previous works just because he lacked popularity.
