Well, this was one of those first episodes which rather made me run in the opposite direction instead of making me want to see more of this series. Yang Yang is a cutie, no doubt on that, but I remember an arena scene featuring a teenage Shuofeng Heye and a teenage Muru Hanjiang in "Tribes and Empires" which definitely had a much higher entertainment level, not to mention the performance...

Thanks and thanks again for all the information you drop for us. If I may say so, you'd also deserve a 10/10 for all the news and background stories you provide us with. Can't tell you how grateful I am for all this.
Thank you for the tip! I wonder, why iQIYI took it off. Heard some rumour, they have to work on the story again (because a Buddhist monks falls in love with the Green Snake)...oh man, as if there aren't a lot of more important problems to solve in this world than censoring ancient legends...
People are seriously rating this already when only 4eps are out...
It depends. The first 3, 4, 5 episodes are the ones that will make me decide if I go on watching a series, or not. If actors are involved, whom I love or admire, I may wait till eps 10 or 12, but if a series doesn't manage to drag me in after the first 3, 4, 5 episodes there's not to expect that it will be able to do so later on. So, yes, if the first dozen episodes bore or annoy me to death, I'll drop a fitting rating.
Google in Chinese. You have better luck. But it will be raw files.
Thanks for the reply. Found it on dramacool. Doesn't matter if RAW or subbed, the most important thing is, I can go on watching. And, now, I can finally finish it.
Happy Friday, everyone! Just a question: where can I watch the rest of the series? I got stuck at episode 18 on YouTube and when I tried to find it elsewhere, it led me to dead ends. I heard, iQIYI took it down for some reasons. So, help, please!!! Is there a link/channel where all episodes are still up??? Thanks in advance!
Would you mind spoiling what bloody romance is about I’m planning to watch it, but is scared to because of the…
Check here for plot summary and cast: https://kisskh.at/27510-bloody-romance To me, it's one of the best drama series I came across, so far. It's an expirience for all senses.
I'm a bit at a loss at the moment. Watched the first two episdoes and I've no idea what to think about it. Deng Lun turns more and more into a truly handsome young man and Yang Zi is cute, no doubt on this, but something is missing. Especially after having watched the latest episode of "Bloody Romance" before I started watching "Heavy Sweetness...", I can't get rid of the feeling that "Heavy Sweetness..." appears like randomly thrown together without a concept...
I'm uploading the chapters on my website here: https://productiveprocrastinationsite.wordpress.com/category/bloody-romance/.Although…
Many thanks for the link! And thanks for the warnings. The age won't be a problem, neither will be the content. I know, the author herself rewrote the novel for the script to make it suitable for a drama series. So, I am aware of what might possible wait for me. Again, many thanks for your effort.
I've seen a number of beautiful couples in a number of different drama series, but, so far, these too are my ultimate faves. Such a sweet and lovely chemistry and such a wonderfully slow paced development of their getting closer.... Li Yi Tong and Qu Chu Xiao are simply perfect together.
I'm on episode 36 (watching it RAW) and, actually, I quite like the series, even though it doesn't offer anything new on the theme of a group of youngsters on a quest to find themselves growing up and to fight the evil and bring back the good and the balance between the human and the demon world. What really annoys me and what really completely spoils the whole thing for me is the stereotype and listless dubbing, sounding exactly like felt 10.000 other dramas in dramaland. It's nice that voice actors do a job for actors too busy doing it on their own or unfamiliar with Mandarin or other reasons, but, please, if you're a voice actor, don't make all characters in every show sound 100% alike. It is just BORING, even more as more and more shows have the actors perform with their own voices!
What a rollercoaster ride of emotions this series was. Just finished the last episode and I can't get rid of the feeling that this ending literally screams for a season 2... Wishful thinking, but, well...one can never be sure about anything, nowadays... For now, though, I have to take leave from one of the best series I watched, so far, and from a fantastic cast round the two amazing leads Zhu Yi Long and Bai Yu. I alreday knew, Zhu Yi Long to be a highly skilled and immensely talentd actor, but I'd dare to say, this was a masterly performance with all shades of emotions, use of voice and acting included. He delivered an almost shakespearesque portrait of different characters with such a lightness that I wished he'd take on the great classical roles on a theatrical stage. Zhu Yi Long, I bow to you in utter admiration!!!
After five episodes, it continue to be a compelling watch. I suggest people not to pay too much attention to the…
Totally agree on the pleasure of getting to hear the actors' voices. It's quite nice that more and more dramas forget about the dubbing. The entertainment level rises definitely while listening to the original voices.

Does one of you know, who the singer is performing the opening song and what's the title of the opening song?
Many thanks in advance!
