Oh, true. Did they have a going on a date episode though? I think if they went somewhere it was always in a group. And in Depth of Field, I really don't recall any date.

As it sounded to me it's basically "Don't force yourself to love me. I'm happy I got to confess." Then said something like "I like you more like a mascot. You're just cute and loveable like one."
Some places in Japan have local mascots. Look up "Kumamon" for example.
It really doesn't seem to make much sense WHY he would say that though.
Stupid attempt to make him not force himself to love him?
Take back his confession (which he knows Mayama has trauma of)?
Hopefully they'll explain why he said it. Cause it's just kinda weird and he obviously still likes him.
Might be a case of "Love interest says something stupid he didn't mean that way at all and main character will say 'How was I supposed to understand that?'"

It came across to me, that he was worried he'd force himself to fulfil Asmiya's "expectations" to love him?
The mascot part was utter rubbish though.

I can only manage to drop a show if it's truly horrible from beginning to end of the episode. If there's even a few minutes or something enjoyable I'll just x1.25-x1.5 through it. Maybe skip past a side story I don't care about.
Or if the subtitles don't make any sense.

I feel there's things in this that would make it interesting, if they didn't constantly fumble them. The weird blur filter and fish eye are hurting my eyes though. And at some point I didn't even notice it was on x1.25 cause it was still way too slow (can't go faster, cause the subtitles disappear too quickly). But that's a common problem in shows. They just kind of stiffly stand there and have their slow conversations.

The bodyguards were probably how Nakhun just walzed right in without looking frantic... I guess? But does that really make sense if his father has been gone for ages? Wouldn't Pathsa have someone more available as an emergency contact?
Unless it has to be a blood relative.
