fuck the parent redemption arc. all they did was manipulate him. that conversation had my jaw on the floor. “you…
As horrible as the first nanny was, the things she said to the parents were all true. That should have been the moment they should have noticed they did something wrong and should connect more with their child. Instead they kept going the same way as before?! The "It's my fault. Are you satisfied?" really hit too close to home for me. It was only missing "I'm a horrible mother.".
I understand why they didn't get the redemption arc sooner, but what the Nanny said should have been enough. Adding that scene kind of made the redemption now nonsensical, cause they already knew they messed up. If the nanny wouldn't have told the, and they had their eyes opened in this moment instead it would have been... ok. "Better late than never".
Also Duang...man... Him jumping in to support Qinn. That's the dream in these situations.
a lot of people seem to have lost the ability to just enjoy storytelling for what it is. not every question needs…
Film criticism has been around for as long as film has been. Usually people only saw them in newspapers though. Just like with anything else, forum type information sharing makes things more readily available and instead of sharing with just family and friends, we can now read the opinions of total strangers on the other side of the world.
Doesn't mean we enjoy stories less. It's just that we can now ask our questions on a global scale, rather than asking our parents and them telling us "No idea.". Also personally, with how film changes (for example the whole dumbing down movies issue because peoples attention is not fully on movies anymore) I find it interesting to share thoughts on what people think about specific scenes or stories.

Are you maybe on the wrong post? Who is fjdig? Where is that quote from? Also the rest seems kinda out of context? I didn't mention the ages in a "that age difference is messed up" way but a "his behaviour doesn't match that of a middle aged person.". As in the character is behaving strange from what you would expect someone to behave who had 17 years more life experience. You asked what the problem was, I simply explained that that wasn't the point I was making.

I understand that. From U Jin's side it also makes sense. He's a teen and totally smitten. Also that they needed to cause conflict, so the 2 day prediction came true. But in my head a teacher wouldn't behave like this in this situation. Adding to that, that Hye Seong is what? ~35? It doesn't seem like he is actively planning to create the fight between the two friends, but at the same time he is behaving like a 17yo blinded by love butting between two friends. He keeps having these "old person" moments, but when it actually counts, he's just behaving like a teenager. The longer I think about the, the more things start coming to mind.
i thought hyeseong felt guilty bcs taejun said he become art teacher bcs of hyeseong even tho he didnt threatened…
Nono, I totally understand all that. I meant the teacher. There was so much back and forth, if I were the teacher I would have just cut in told them all to go.
I'm neither a teacher(Although I wanted to be at some point in time), nor korean, so maybe I'm not getting this for some reason? Teacher asks for 2 students. First no one volunteers, then even 3 students. Why not just say "Nice! 3. That'll go faster!" and just send them their merry way? It's not like they're getting payed for it!
I'm always wondering why sticking the actors into a sound booth and having them rerecord the voices is not a thing…
The on body mics they seem to have in bts though seem the standard for some reason? I learned to film with boom mic and monitoring, but appearently country standards differ? Or it's been a while. :D Even if there's REALLY noone monitoring the sound during the shoot (which I guess is happening, cause why else would this happen?) at least during editing they should ring the alarm bells that the sound is horrible. But yes. Boom+monitor is the minimum.
If they would just get the sound balanced, I would have no complaints… right as Tiger is apologizing to Dr.…
I'm always wondering why sticking the actors into a sound booth and having them rerecord the voices is not a thing they do? Or do they just not give a damn about how bad the sound sometimes is? They could also work with different sets of microphones. In other shows I've noticed when sometimes actors are hugging or something the sound is really bad, cause they're squishing th mics.
"We need a decoy to split them up." ....Mister....they already are split up! What the heck are you talking about? You could have shot him in the knee from underneath the covers or something!
Also OH MY GOD handcuff them, shoot them! DO ANYTHING a police officer would do! Kamin could have saved all 3 of them, if he wouldn't have just stood there like a deer caught in the headlight! They need to find a new job. Obviously police officer is not for them! Maybe become chefs. Obviously you're better at cooking
How the hell did Puth survive standing in the flames for over 1 minute and being that close to a bomb? He'd be crispy! No way did he get away with 3rd degree burns?! And why do they talk about the "closing the case" as if not almost everyone died before they closed it?! And Jay! It's fine saying you're not brave enough to stand up against Champ and his a***ole dad! Makes total sense! But "Did they do something that wrong?"?! Really? They could have been instead locked up for their crimes, but you didn't help her do that.
I have to say I'm glad for once seeing them eat the food, instead of nibbling on some naked rice and saying "oh this tastes amazing!".

They're aristocrats of high standing. They'd be also addressed as Lady or Lord. I think it's knight -> baron(ess) -> count(ess) -> king/queen (with some levels in between maybe not 100% sure)
guys im so confused can someone explain to me what happened in the first 2 episodes like im a 5 year old nothing…
Cinderella meets the prince at a party. The prince stays over at Cinderella's stepfathers place to figure out if he should work with the stepfather. Turns out stepfather and stepbrother are useless and Cinderella is doing all the work. stepbrother gets imprisoned, but stepfather asks Cinderella to take his place. The prince saves her from prison because her stepfather doesn't care. Thankful Cinderella ....stares into the princes eyes all night long...in a convertible carriage. Cinderella has a big idea about building a beautiful castle hat people would love to visit but doesn't have enough money and asks the prince to support her dream to take revenge on her stepfather for what he did to her mother. The prince can't help her out because it is too risky and Cinderella goes off for 3 months to build it herself somehow. The prince then still can't support it financially, but helps in other ways. The stepbrother is pulling strings to have Cinderella be refused any help. [unknown stuff happens but the prince has been kidnapped and Cinderella has fallen deeply in love with him.] The prince goes to a ball and finds a friend, whom he.... persuades to help his father financially. When Cinderella found him, he locked her in and fled far away to another part of the country. The prince then stayed with the fairy godsister who doesn't know he's the prince. Cinderella was looking all over the country for him. Then the prince and fairy godsister returned to the capital where Cinderella found him and brought him to safety into a church looking place where she's keeping him safe with a chain. Fairy godsister meanwhile finds another godsister, a beautiful countess who was forced to become the stepbrother's wife, to protect, because she can't find the prince.
(Sorry, got a bit carried away with the fairy tale bit, but that's how I understood the story so far.)

Good point! But she was married off to the evil stepbrother, that would make him a prince by marriage? Would baroness or countess be ok?
