Yeah you are right about both BLOSSOM and LOVE NEVER FAILS. I can't proceed after episode 8 in case of both Blossom and In Blossom . The FL's (Meng Ziyi) acting is not bad but her lips are way too much distracting for me and somehow I feel like the current her is not suited for historical dramas. I've seen her playing supporting roles in some famous historical dramas(THE UNTAMED) and there she looked so good .Now her lips and face have become too much aligned with the modern standards ( completely my opinion no hate to her).
In case of LNF I only saw episode 1 and for now it is on hold. I had been waiting for it since 2020 and somehow it didn't meet my and others expectation which might be due to not being in alignment with the modern standards of dramas cause it was filmed in 2019. Nowadays people like morally grey ruthless ,bloody ML and LIU XUEYI can perfectly portray those behaviors. His dashing looks paired with Black/dark robes and proper open hairstyle serves as a cherry on top. But in this drama he plays a good ,innocent, world saver ML restricted by society and parents . This was the major reason why I couldn't watch LNF I didn't like his character. Moreover HYX is a good actress but her hairstyle and robes in the first episodes didn't suit her but that greatly improved in the later episodes. I personally think that curly hairstyle and wild clothes suited Crystal Yuan better. Moreover the storyline was trashy and repetitive,

I don't think so according to LI MUZHOU(20 years from the future) everyone along with HONG YE died inside the boundary during the battle. If he was alive than that would give rise to set of new events, clues and mysteries....

I guess we will learn more about MU MIE in Sword and Beloved...So Jia Lan's resentment gives form to a malicious energy termed as "BLACK FOX" that awoke Shi ji and wrecked havoc. Shi ji was killed by Tushan Hong Hong at last in RED MOON PACT . So now the REAL BLACK FOX will be killed by WANGQUAN FUGUI, the ultimate weapon. Your and @G4armie's explanation makes a lot sense. Thanks for your explanation. One of my biggest doubts were cleared. Jia Lan and Shi jin being shells or underlings make a lot more sense.... So Shi jin was killed by TUSHAN HONG HONG and I guess the real BLACK FOX will be killed by WANGQUAN FUGUI.

I also dropped Red Moon Pact in ep 5. I took the reference from beginning part of the 1st episode. I remembered just one thing only that the lead from moon pact killed a black fox 700 years ago while in this drama it was formed 500 years ago.

Zhang Zheng was such a strong character. Acc to the drama he was or could be more powerful than Hong Ye but he chose to use his dark sword power and skills only yet the writers totally wasted his talents and skill. They got him killed before everyone. They should have atleast used him a bit more before killing him. We didn't even get to see him fight the Black fox fiercely.

Yeah her acting felt quite natural to me also. Moreover She is playing the role of a refined ,strong, wise and mature lady who is also a mother figure to her sister and raised her with strictness. So she cannot show her weakness . I think Shi Shi portrayed her role perfectly. Her eyes were so expressive...

Billu ji apne kabse drama dekhna shuru kiya hain? watching 500+ dramas is not a matter of joke. Vaise yeh wala drama kafi sahi hain apne itne dramas dekhe hain zyada prblm nahi hoyega adapt krne mein apko.

Hmm I'm also enjoying Prisoner of beauty and would like to see Song Zu Er with Liu Xue YI. LNF is okayish . I would give it a 6/10. But it's better if u watch it and judge it yourself.

I've some doubts/confusions .I hope someone can clear them, please. So First of all Who taught MU MIE , YANG YITAN'S nephew clairvoyance? when they were in the future 20 years later Mu Mie himself said that it was not YANG YITAN who taught him clairvoyance moreover when MU MIE was a toddler Yang YITAN had already died(in the future acc. to MUZHOU) . YANG YITAN is also dead in the present time line so what will happen to MU MIE?

Next thing is that they should have shown what happened to QINLAN at last. Although I know she and her hubby were later hunted down and killed by RENFENG leaving behind YUECHU.

And now the BIGGEST CONFUSION, in the beginning of RED MOON PACT it was shown that TUSHAN HONG HONG killed/heavily injured a LADY BLACK FOX (Shi ji ,former chief of Tushan )700 years ago to stop human demon war who later made a come back
but according to this drama the BLACK FOX is formed from the resentment of JIA LAN who died 500 years ago which means the BLACK FOX was born 500 years ago. Moreover at the end of RED MOON PACT it was shown that TUSHAN HONG HONG killed the BLACK FOX herself. So WANGQUAN FUGUI son of HONGYE will kill which BLACK FOX. Are there Multiple BLACK FOXES or only one which keeps on regenerating from the endless hate? I think MULTIPLE BLACK FOX theory can be true as JIA LAN was also a BLACK FOX. So if I want to describe or differentiate it then there might be 3 BLACK FOXES- JIA LAN , the one formed from JIA LAN'S resentment and LADY SHIJI(BLACK FOX) , main villain from RED MOON PACT or they might be only one person .

One more thing this TUSHAN GRIEF TREE was a matter of emergency. So why didn't TUSHAN HONG HONG help HONG YE and HUAIZHU fight it. That thing was also important for TUSHAN'S well being. I don't find the reason why she won't fight the Black Fox with them .Moreover if she fought with them the story would be totally different right? They only made TUSHAN YAYA give some advice, permission and moral support . This doesn't make any sense .In RED MOON PACT HONG HONG did anything just to protect the Grief tree, didn't even let it have a small scratch so why so ignorant now? I know Yang Mi's cameo might had been a difficult thing to achieve but without her involvement the above mentioned things doesn't make any sense.


P.s -I do know these dramas are standalone but can't help and ponder about these things as they are connected by generations...

Yeah I also noticed it maybe in times of danger she tends to act maturely . Moreover Huaizhu and Hongye were both from respectable families so it might be that Yaya as the chief deputy wanted to represent Tushan in a better way infront of them....Just like we act maturely infront of strangers but more or less child like infront of someone we are close...
