I have the same opinion as you. I put Love never Fails on hold since ep 2 but I think i will have to reluctantly drop it , I had so much high expectations for it. I like Liu Xue Yi so much but am never able to finish any of his dramas either due to bad pairing (90%) of the times or bad script. As for Love in Pavilion I'll just finish it since I'm already on ep 28. For me Love in Pavillion was neither good not bad, it's rewatch value is 0 though...just kind of feel pity for the male lead...I don't know why though.... I will surely watch Rebel Princess...
Can you tell me how are the new cdramas Serendipity ,love never fails and Love in Pavillion. I mean if they are worth the watch. I didn't really like the first ep of Love never Fails. The Female lead, her costume and most importantly the male lead's character didn't do it for me. Though it's to quick too judge but i need some opinion.
the ju jingyi hate train is wild😭 saying she can't act is such a reach. ju jingyi can carry and show emotions…
Yeah she can act very well because in Legend of Yunxi and at the beginning of this series her acting as the villain was on FIRE ... But I didn't really like her portrayal of Yang Cai Wei's character . She made her look unserious while the first actress portrayed the depths and complications of the character very very well.
I feel like there could have been so much angst and tension between them if they had done it right, but idk why…
Yeah there should have been more angst and tension between them as the ML never liked Shangguan Zhi and suspected her too , but it all went downhill and don't get me started on JJY's acting it was horrible. People are saying her acting was good but she just couldn't portray Yang Cai Wei's character. Yang Cai Wei's character had serious vibes , complications ,pain and depth which was portrayed very well by the first actress. But then JJY portrayed her as a goofy ,clumsy person for which I couldn't take her seriously... But I must say JJY as a villain was FIRE......And one more thing the chemistry b/w the leads was not good at all...
When I saw him and the other members of the cast, I said people were going to stone him to death lol. And let's…
I don't think he can be called a Pretty boy anymore considering his age but he can look like one... And the aesthetic dressing makes him look more sexier. I know beauty is subjective but @LivV as I said most of the people are into cutesy faces so they might not like him in dramas where the main lead's beauty is the main focus. But people who like matured men would surely like it and for them he would surely be on top of the list...
i would say the drama airing now like LNF and love in pavillion are filler dramas of the year beause they are…
ML and FL are more famous and renowned faces in c-drama industry it's just that thay are seasoned actors and they don't do much dramas lately because they're already famous ,have enough money and has gained a strong foothold in the industry unlike the recent renowned faces... People who started watching c-dramas during 2020 or 2019 or a bit after that might not know about it and new c-drama watchers won't know it for sure. I guess u are new to C-dramaland..
Why was there the need to comment on the looks of an actress here defending a man's look?
I am just stating my opinion openly as discussions about these two dramas were going on in this comment section. And that people were stating both of these dramas as 'disappointments'. No doubt the Current FL of 'Love Never Fails' is very pretty and talented actress but they should have given her costume which suited her more in accordance with her character. That huge bunch of curly hair surrounding her small face looks quite disproportionate...
I will surely watch Rebel Princess...
