Yeah- I got it afterwards. but with the updo- looked slightly like CXH's character in Love of the Divine Tree.

I literally thought it was Chen Xin Hai, even went to the credits to see if he was in this drama.

The ML has been suffering from extreme bad luck due to the karma of divine retribution from the laws of heaven for killing the FL in previous episodes multiple times i.e. her being pushed of the mechanical bird and unable to fly- so she went splat. ML doesnt know that she is a god, and is unaware of the retributions. But his weapon spirit... aka zi fei... aka really his conscience... points out that the FL must be higher than a war demon for the bad luck to be this bad. FL was unaware of the consequences of killing her multiple times- so the god of (forgot what he was) Mr. Long said that the only way to undo the divine retribution and ML's inability to heal himself anymore was for her to say, "in person" to the ML "I forgive you" thats why she screamed it out loud when he was dying from the knife wound of the "god killer" divine artifact. FL was hoping that her "in person" forgiveness would reverse the karma from the laws of heaven that hindered his divine hand's self-healing properties. The only reason why her face flickered at that point was that she had used magic to temporarily look like the ship's handmaiden Xue (all the other times in the drama the FL looked like her true self) on the ship to disguise herself from him and zi fei, in order to observe the ML to try to figure out if he was really a good or bad person (cause she had her doubts now since he killed her multiple times) without ML knowing that she was JTY. Clear as mud???

Already adored ♥️♥️♥️ML from past dramas I've watched him in. First time seeing the FL though- think she is doing a great job here, very personable in her expressions. Also adoring ♥️Weapon Spirit Zi Fei character.
