Agree 💯. I’m used to mystery/investigative dramas in the last couple of years being linear in their plots. How they set it up, is actually how it ends. ( Cough…Cough Face Me- we all guessed the culprit in ep 1) Maybe one slight twist and half a turn if we are lucky. This drama has numerous glorious twists and turns which I’m so happy about. Wonder how this drama is being received in Mainland. Cause the MDL rating here is a travesty!

That was funny seeing Dai Xu drink so much milk at the end.... didn't think about all the takes he had to do for all the scenes with the milk 🥛!

Agree! I think Shen Ye is playing dumb- cray cray daddy will def end up in jail at the end of the series. If he isnt playing dumb- he has got zero chance with Chun! 😂😂😂 Still curious if daddy was the repair man, or was the man with the limp the repair man? And SY was the one to throw the magnesium powder on ML's dad.

I was thinking he actually never had a son and was extremely jealous of HR and wouldn't be surprised if the "accidental" explosion was in fact- not accidental. I also think he didn't have a son cause he is way too attached and they would have already put in multiple times in past eps the "My dad gets upset every year at this time cliche" to indicate he is still mourning for the son who died.

I thought SY was recording bc he pulled the trick with the missing granny to lure out who had been caring for her. I assumed SY didn't know it was ML until that moment.

WOOOOWWW!!! So glad I stuck with this drama... end of ep 15! 😱😱😱Screw the side cases (though I know we needed the tie-ins) ... this is so much more interesting. Let me get my popcorn!!! 🍿🍿🍿

I liked the first episode- production is well cast/directed. 👍 The information regarding fire investigation is also very interesting. 👍👍 I think the second half of the 1st episode really sets the tone for the direction of the drama. So if you aren’t interested by then- probably not for you. FYI- the summary for the drama on IQIYI is more detailed than MDL’s

I feel like I cannot do google searches for the things I just learned in this drama otherwise I might be put on some type of government watchlist 👀 in my country! 🤣🤣🤣

Since it’s only listed under its Chinese Name on IQIYI, I searched under Elvira Cai and easily found it. 👍

PHS hacked into the account specifically at the time Gu Ho entered the password, so he could see it with his photographic memory. That is the differentiation. Bad guys can always hack into it. But they would have to do it at the time PHS entered the new password, which so far he cant remember. It is also an anonymous account, so hackers cant just look for the account either because there is not even a known owner to trace back to, then try to reset a password either
