Can someone help me to understand something? In the earlier episode we see Bo xuan promising Hou Chi that he would come back to see her after 10,000 years. He even emphasised to her to continue wearing the bracelet so that he would be able to find her. How does this fit into story now that Bai Jue is awake and treating Hou Chi coldly? Besides Qing Mu didn’t actually remember her when they met 10,000 years later. So how could Bo Xuan makes that promise or was it an empty promise that he knew he would break? Sorry for the long post. I m just confused as I m watching raw and my Chinese is not all that great.

same here. I dropped this after ten episodes. I am just not convinced on their eternal love. Their story lacks depth and maturity.

I have just done with ep22 and I must say that it’s getting better. They actually had a discussion about Xiao Man being a teacher. And I am starting to like the premise that XM is starting to think like a modern woman about having life goals. Normally most Chinese drama starts with a bang and then it kinda fizzle out in the middle and drags on until ending. That’s when the 2X button comes in handy. For me. This one seems to be the opposite. It’s like a birthing process. It goes through the horrible pain before you get sweet love.

I have just watched Ep21 and it seems promising... let’s hope that this is where the turning point is....

I m watching this with the hope that the couple will grow with maturity later and somehow or not, they will change their ways. In the meantime I am gritting my teeth through all this mess now... (ps: still love Joseph zeng despite all this)
