One of the tags says childish female lead. Exactly how childish is she? Because that is a pet peeve of mine and that could definitely ruin an otherwise good series completely for me.
I did not expect to feel this good about this series. I kid you not, my stomach is filled with butterflies and I am all giggly after having watched each episode. This was not what I signed up for. It was so much better.
For once I equally love both main and second couple. I wish JJ and Methas could get even a little bit more screen time.
I was actually surprised that the writer(s) knew about design patents. But that's when the silliness starts:1.…
Dude, it’s fiction. They most likely searched for an expired patent and used as a template. Chances are they just chose some random numbers. Or looked up a certain date and made sure the original patent weren’t for jewelry.
Finally something is happening. It’s the classic case of the emotionally abusive dad of course givin Rak an ultimatum, threatening him. I’m just wondering, who is the doctor? Did I miss this or have they not said?
People complaining about the lack of sex… where have you been the last few weeks? Did you miss that we are not doing that anymore? At least they kissed and hugged.
Meena, or rather the actress, is amazing. She’s gonna get far in this business. I absolutely adore her and Mut’s interactions.
Why are we calling something uncut when there’s nothing to really cut out? Those sex scenes in the tub and changing room had so much potential but what happened? Were they cut in the uncut version too?
You know, I could overlook black out sex scenes even in an uncut version if it was actually a good story involved but my dudes, it isn’t so I’m not overlooking anything. I’m just gonna park myself in my corner and wait for Yo to get over the initial shock of Sam’s identity so they can finally get their happy ending. That’s all I’m asking for at this point.
Gonna say though, Sam’s reaction when he heard mom outside the door was insanely cute.
Fort and Peat is, at this point, the only reason I’m still watching. It was hot in the beginning, I’m gonna give them that, but the fire burnt out real fast.
It’s like nothing happens even though there is some sort of story. I think what’s most disappointing is that what they got on the island just doesn’t happen on land. The hot steamy sex you expect isn’t there anymore. Idk, maybe I had higher expectations but to me, LITA is way hotter than this mess. Also, the GL couple is mostly annoying which takes a lot of focus of the main couple.
I couldn't even handle it at 2x speed. In the English translation I read Lin calls him daddy & Sun calls him little…
Should I read the book? I heard it’s mostly smut but it sounds like there’s actually some sort of substance to it too. I don’t mind smut but pwp isn’t my thing. Also, this tv series is as sad as month old refrigerated celery and it would be nice to know what could have been. 🤔
It’s cute but they could have done a special about them being in their 30s like in the manga ,with Tane as a teenager, instead. That would have been more fun to see.
I’m glad I only watch this once a week. It’s like, even if something is happening, nothing is really happening. Good for Rak for getting back at his cousin. But it feels like he’s always a step ahead of her anyway. Always with some snarky comeback. So her collusion with daddy dearest will be interesting. Hopefully it won’t end in some boring anticlimax. And the girls are just treading water. It’s boring to watch. I think they should have given them some more time to evolve their relationship instead of just go at it straight from the start. It was too much and now there’s nothing to build on, it feels like.
Well, I took a break in the middle of the episode and watched YouTube and I think that says exactly everything about this series.
This is dragging. Imagine if they prioritized a bit and actually focused on the important things that happens and toned down all the mundane shit going on. At this point I’m only here for three things; 1. Sam and Yo, 2. Mos body (well if he ever shows it) and 3. Prim secretly smiling at Pim and Sam secretly smiling at Yo. That’s all I need. The rest, I really don’t care about. I must say though, Lin’s dad brightened up this weeks episode a bit.
I will say that i liked LeeFrank the most in this series. I almost gave up on them but this saved them a bit,…
That’s kind of sad news but not really surprising and maybe also what’s best for both of them in their continued careers. Whatever happens in the future I wish them both the best. I’ll still continue to support them.
I’m so mad right now. I’ve watched this damn show three times. (I like Mark, ok) and it’s ok. A bit slow but all the food scenes are top notch and I like the overall ambience. Other than that it feels like it’s written for the stage and not tv. The dialogues are perfect for a stage play, not to say their movements and touches and placements.
Anyway, that’s not why I’m mad. I’m mad because I just finished the novel and man, there’s so much potential lost in this adaptation. For starters, Eua is bonkers in love in the novel. Aek is a lot more understandable in his decisions and the way he rationalizes things. He’s borderline unlikable in the series but he’s really sweet in the novel. What I’m sayin is, this series could have been so good but someone decided to make it into some artsy fartsy piece of poo. I’ll probably watch it again because of the food and Mark but I will always remember the fact that this wasn’t it. There should have been so much more. And so much different.
Who ever decided to do a drama adaptation of the manga should get a prize. The manga is absolutely amazing and this adaptation most certainly does it justice.
