A monotonous romcom with no real plot
I may not have had very high expectations for this series after seeing the trailer, but I was still looking forward to it because some of my favorite actors were in it, but I was disappointed. I just finished watching this series, and after 24 episodes, I’m still wondering: What was it about? It's 24 hours of sweet talk, flirting, kissing, and cutesy behavior between five, most of them already familiar, BL couples, with no real plot or twist. It unfortunately became almost absurdly monotonous, repetitive, and frankly boring. Several of the actors have given much better performances in earlier BL series. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel sorry for the actors who are forced to do this kind of silly series just to satisfy fans who are mostly looking to watch guys pretending to be gay and kiss. And if that’s mainly what you’re after, you will definitely like this!
If I could say anything positive about this series: I was initially very skeptical about the new BL couple Perth and Santa, but I was pleasantly surprised. They had great chemistry and will most likely get to do more series together.
