A really good series in the romantic drama genre!
In addition to sweet romance, the series also tackles serious topics such as parental acceptance of partners, disabilities and friendship. Very good performance by all the actors who fit their roles incredibly well. Prepare to cry a little every now and then too. Definitely worth watching! I'll probably rewatch it some rainy weekend.
Don't miss these spinoff episodes if you enjoyed the original series!
Humor and sweet romance in two very watchable spinoff episodes to the series Bad Buddy. If you liked the story and characters in Bad Buddy, you will definitely like this one too. Related to Our Skyy2: A tale of a thousand stars. The two series are woven together in these total of four episodes of Our Skyy2.
Definitely a real gem in the romantic feel good genre
Very cute and funny Taiwanese romantic drama. A love story between two young adult men, a dentist and a tavern owner/chef. The series also has some depth as it also addresses the problem of getting the parents to accept their love. Definitely a real gem in the romantic feel good genre, worth binge watching on a rainy weekend.
Unfortunately a bit disappointed with this side story
This is a side story to IFYLITA. I had high expectations but was unfortunately disappointed. Wonderful to see them together again but nothing really happened during the whole episode, the story felt very drawn out. They could have done so much more of this side story where they meet in the present, in Jom's world. Sad ending but there was hope that they can meet again in another time.
Beautiful story about first love - one of the better Japanese series I've seen this year
Beautiful and sometimes terrible story about two young guys from very different backgrounds who meet in high school. About an abusive father, an absent mother, loneliness, prejudice, friendship, first love and an increasingly strong bond that grows between the guys, a hard breakup and eventually a beautiful reunion. 10 regular episodes + an extra episode about what happened next. Watch it!
If you're looking for a romantic drama that feels like a breath of fresh air compared to Thai, Korean, and Japanese BL series, this is the one to try. The romance isn’t the only focus — instead, it’s placed in a solid context with an interesting plot and several surprising turns. The pacing is good, and each episode leaves you wanting to see what happens next.
The series is both funny and emotional at times, so expect a mix of laughter and tears. The casting is excellent, with strong performances and believable chemistry between the leads.
That said, Revenged Love might be a bit of a divider — it has a specific tone and style that some viewers will love, while others might not connect with it at all. Personally, I really enjoyed it and felt it stood out from other BL dramas. I think I might actually rewatch the whole series - which is rare for me, and I’d gladly watch a sequel if they ever make one
Strong acting, great chemistry and interesting story — a perfect recipe for romantic drama
My Magic Prophecy isn’t a groundbreaking series, but it’s still a solid watch with good acting and a fresh story. It offers a nice mix of romance, humor, and light mystery that keeps things interesting. The show follows In, a tarot reader who predicts a dangerous streak of bad luck for Thapfah, an ICU doctor. To escape the trouble, Thapfah reluctantly goes with In to Mae Hong Son, where their unexpected relationship begins to grow.
Although the premise might seem familiar in the BL genre, My Magic Prophecy adds a unique twist by blending romance with fantasy. The writing feels genuine and avoids many common clichés, while the pacing keeps the viewer engaged.
The chemistry between the leads is one of the show’s strongest points. The actors were well cast for both main and supporting roles, bringing warmth and authenticity to their characters. Their interactions are natural, balancing humor, tenderness, and vulnerability.
Supporting characters enrich the story and add depth without distracting from the main couple. The production quality is solid, with pleasant visuals and a fitting soundtrack.
While not a classic, *My Magic Prophecy is a good example of quality BL storytelling with a fresh concept. It’s a pleasant watch for anyone seeking romance mixed with magical intrigue.
Overall, the series delivers an enjoyable experience thanks to strong performances and a well-crafted script. If you want a BL that offers something a little different while keeping the emotional core, My Magic Prophecy is worth your time.
Overall Well-Acted and Entertaining, but Doesn’t Quite Live Up to the Hype
I’m not as overwhelmingly positive as many of the other reviews here, but I still think Top Form is a good series worth watching. It deals with an important and current topic: the pressures of the entertainment industry and how little control celebrities have over their private lives. The main actors deliver strong performances, and their chemistry is one of the highlights of the series. Many emotional scenes feel real and touching. The series is generally well-produced, with high-quality visuals and a professional feel. However, the pacing is a bit uneven. Some episodes move very slowly, with scenes that feel overly stretched out, while others are packed with drama and events that happen too fast. This inconsistency makes it hard to stay fully engaged at times.
One of the biggest weaknesses is the script. Conflicts and storylines appear, build up some tension, and then disappear without being fully explored. It’s as if there wasn’t enough time to develop each plot point properly before jumping to the next. Some side characters’ actions, especially the antagonists, also lack clear motivation, which makes their role in the story confusing.
Despite these issues, Top Form remains enjoyable, especially for fans of romantic dramas. The love scenes in the uncut version —many of which are quite long and explicit—will definitely appeal to a certain audience. If that’s what you're looking for, there’s plenty of it here. The series was heavily hyped before its release, and while it has many strong moments, I don’t think it fully meets the high expectations. Still, the ending hints at a second season, and I’d be curious to see where the story goes next.
Great story, great actors - I've rewatched it three times already
One of my absolute favorites of Thai series! Great story and great acting from all six main actors. Addresses several interesting and current topics such as acceptance of homosexuality, disability, poverty and class differences, that in some cases friends can be even more important than one's biological family, how trauma can affect one many years later, etc. I've rewatched it three times already.
Weak Story and No Chemistry – Gave Up After Two Episodes
Dog Bro was disappointing with weak story and no real chemistry between the leads. The characters felt unconvincing, and the pacing was slow. The production quality didn’t help either. Honestly, I gave up after just two episodes, which I rarely do. Overall, it was hard to stay interested, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
Childish and cringe, with no plot or depth – the worst BL series of the year so far
Boring and slow, with neither plot nor character development. Your Sky of Us is a continuation of the original story Your Sky, following the couple Muenfah and Teerak in school invironment. It was marketed as a sweet and emotional follow-up—but ended up being an empty and drawn-out experience. These special episodes were somehow even worse than the original series. There was no real storyline to speak of, and the pacing was painfully slow. It felt like a three-hour-long cute commercial, filled with meaningless fluff and dragged-out transitions that added nothing. The characters had no depth, and absolutely no growth took place throughout the episodes.
I had to fast-forward through several scenes just to get through it. The excessive baby-talk and the constant use of "darling" in every other line and the way grown men who are excessively jealous for no reason at all, unreasonably overprotective, or get overly shy and flustered in an extremely chaste way around their own partner—no, it's not cute or sweet, just incredibly cringey and completely unbelievable for the characters.
The tone was incredibly childish. Muenfah, who is supposedly on a business trips to Hong Kong, behaves more like a 12-year-old than an adult. The entire series gave the impression of being made for kids—if you removed a few longer kissing scenes, it could easily pass as a show for ten-year-olds. The acting wasn’t necessarily bad, but the script gave the actors nothing to work with.
If all you want is close-up shots of childish men smiling, kissing, and acting cute and don't care about meaningful plot, realistic characters or emotional depth, then maybe this is your kind of show.
Very interesting story and great acting
A favorite Thai series that I rewatched twice. Action drama with some romantic elements. Very good story and fantastic actors all of them. Especially Off & Gun, they fit so much better in these serious roles instead of the banal comedies they usually appear in. Not as shallow as many other BL series, this one covers many interesting topics such as class differences, poverty, social activism , identity, friendship and of course love. Hard not to binge watch, every episode was very exciting. Don't miss this one!
Bad script, boring and strange dubbed voice
This was one of the worst BL series I've see. Bad script, boring and no real story, and one of the actors had a dubbed voice that sounded completely absurd, like a hoarse old man even though the actor was a young guy. Pity the actors, their manager shouldn't have agreed to have them in a show with such a bad script.
