If the father bothers you so much that you want him to die than perhaps you shouldn’t watch it either. You can’t tell someone not to watch it cause the character is flawed.

She’s a single mother by choice, a choice she made cause of her own reasoning. I don’t blame her for what she did before. I blame her now for the choices and mistakes she continues to make cause of her own agenda, feelings and pride. She would rather let her son suffer and possibly even die at the beginning of the drama and really throughout his life. She had chances to tell the ML and refused to do so delaying the surgery time and time again. Now that the ML knows she refuses to let him have parental rights to his own son. She actually know her son has great affection for the grandfather he calls out his name while he’s sleeping. She refuses to talk to him, communicate with him even now even after him begging her just to talk to him. It’s either met with silence or flat out refusal.

I completely agree with you! She’s in a miserable place in her life and choose to let everyone around her suffer if it means she can choose her pride. Sun is in his place in life honestly cause I think of her. She makes him the father of Ping Ping but she’s just a miserable person to be around. I think what she did was suck the life right out of him, always being so miserable. He actually loves her in romantic sense right from the start. Knowing that you don’t love the guy and making him the pretend father have serious consequences in his life. You can’t be playing around with peoples feelings, she knows he had feelings for her. I think the wear and tear of her not loving him made him this way. He always felt he wasn’t good enough for her. So he chooses easy way out to make money and just fail in the process and that just beats him up even more. She could have choose to also tell her son the half truth, at least let him know that Sun is his adopted father not his real one.

I would have thought she would have done better mentally than NYS, she has a son out of it. Her son can’t even make her happy. She’s all about pride but only at her expense she never thinks about whose life is affected in the process. Male lead, her son, Zhuijin and the list goes on

They are fighting for custody because she won’t give them joint custody. Mark said to her the fair and most reasonable thing to do is give him those rights as he is the biological father. She said no she can’t do that nor accept him because of her father, that was her sole reason. After she said that he said than your have to prepare to fight, it was in court to give them
Joint custody. She refused, and wanted to take it to court. Mark has alternatives motives for helping her and he isn’t the saint he is setting out to be as he’s here for revenge. This whole fight started cause of her refusal to give them joint custody. Even her best friend tells her to love forward. Vicky tells her to stop hiring NYS. Her reasons for the first time she left him makes sense. But now years older and supposedly wiser. She takes her pride over everything else that matters and that includes the life of her own son

Even when she risked losing her child because of his health condition, she rather chose her pride over her child’s well being. She had ample opportunity to save her child by telling ML the truth but she delayed the whole process because of her own pride.

I feel Tang Jing really wronged NYS. Perhaps when she was younger, I understand her reasoning for leaving him. She said it was to protect him, that’s why she broke up with him, but really contracts herself when she talks to Mark. She says could never be with him or accept him cause she feels like she would be wronging her dad. She doesn’t want to give him joint custody of the son, so what does she want? So all the years she robbed him she never felt any guilt and still wants to continue to rob him of a relationship with their son. She goes to a complete stranger(Mark) for advice on getting full custody of her son and actually listens to him and doubts NYS intentions to her and the son. She supposedly tells him the whole story of what happened to them, but has never even told her story to her best friend at this point.
She takes her pride over the life of her son. She had no money, but yet couldn’t tell him the truth so he could go into surgery. She delay and delayed the surgery when she could have use that chance to tell him the truth . He was supposedly in bad condition at the beginning. What if he died? She didn’t even give NYS the chance to know Ping Ping is his son. The whole custody thing is so unfair, that she doesn’t want to give him any rights to his own son cause of her own grudges against the ML father. She took away 6 years and doesn’t want to give him rights now? Makes no sense why anyone is even on her side for this. ML has tried to reason with her, talk with her, ask her to communicate openly with him and she refuses. What is he suppose to do? The life she choose was this, she can move forward or dwell in the past. She has ample opportunities to correct the mistakes of her past, cause it’s huge to take away a father and sons relationship . If she was really protecting ML like she claims why was the first word out of her mouth when he asked about Ping Ping was ask your dad and while you are at, ask him about my fathers death. She wants him to know. She’s not protecting him, her saying that she knows that ML will find out
. The whole custody thing was her doing why can’t he have joint custody of the son. What did he ever do to her to take that right away from him. For her own selfish reason she is doing this. The dad was correct in saying if they don’t get rights she will just disappear like the last time


I could watched Wallace for days, his acting is always impeccable, he is soooo good.

You should watch before you judge him so harshly.. If anything it should be FL that should be getting the wrath. She has been unfair to everyone to the ML and even to her fake husband. Robbing a father out of a relationship with his son is cruel

Are we even watching the same show? What right does she have to take away his son for 6 years and now knowing this wants to rob him of more years of his child’s life. They want joint custody so they rights. It didn’t have to be this way if she was reasonable in letting ML back into the sons life. But all she’s worried about is her own pride and that her son could possibly love someone else
He’s tried multiple multiple times to talk to her, reason with her, tell her they can face it together. All is ever met with is silence on her end all the time. It’s like he said they aren’t kids of enemies but parents of Ping Ping. Shame on you wanting him dead how unreasonable cruel

The lack of communication is all from the FL. He has tried multiple multiple of times to communicate with her ask her what’s going on for her to talk to him and they can face together. She wants sole custody of their son. Is that fair to him when he’s already lost out on 6 years of his sons life. She doesn’t want to give him any time to spend with his son. Not feel any guilt that she took away his rights to know his own son. She started it first, he told her his honestly they only want joint custody so they can see him with rights. She ran away with her son. The father was correct in that if they don’t apply for custody she can disappear at any time.
