We all know that he loves that’s undeniable, or else how can he forgive everything she did to him? But is one sided love enough to get them through a lifetime? Especially only from one side? The balance of the relationship is so unequal since they were young. But she definitely owes people in her life apologies. She literally never regretted anything she did, the past seven years is history, she can’t change it. But in the present she continue to make unbelievable selfish choices and continue to blame others. for choices she made.

He didn’t have acute. He had chronic. This disease is never cured. It can only be managed and the chances of it returning is highly likely. But it’s pointless arguing because you will believe the facts you want to believe and I’ll believe the facts I know to be true. Plus his character is fictional anyway. What are the chances of there being a sequel when people hated this drama halfway through? A masterpiece yet destroyed with the female leads character and all the dog blood. This could have been one of this years top drama based on the quality alone but her character destroyed it for most viewers. This drama was getting 4-5 star rating on douban easily hitting 8.5 + yet it’s sitting at 6.2 right now. Feel bad for all the hard work the cast and team put in.

Please find another article that states the same. I’d hate to argue with you but I have a friend who has this disease and I wish you were right. You can’t base your opinion on one article when all the other researches prove otherwise.

She never sold the shares for 2 reasons. It’s worth around 600 mil usd if I remember correctly, I don’t think SFT would offer her fair market value. You know what would have made a lot of viewers happier despite all the wrong decisions Tan Jing made?

1. An apology to NYS for robbing him of 6 years with his child. An apology for wavering so many times and choosing to trust anyone but him
2. An apology to NDS for believing he was behind her dad’s death without any solid proof. An apology for driving a wedge between him and his son. An apology for robbing him of 6 years and robbing him once again when she ran off with the child knowing that the grandfather also loved him. Only a blind person can’t see that NYS loved his grandson and the feelings were mutual
3. An apology to her son for depriving him of his father. An apology for delaying his surgery because of her selfish means to keep him by her side when his life is on a string.
4. An apology to Sun for depriving him of the warmth he deserved. Knowing she could not return his feelings she should have never had him commit his lifetime to her. As soon as NYS walked back into her life, she just tossed Sun to the sidelines because she no longer needed him.
5. An apology to Vicky because she walked into their lives and ruined what could have been a better relationship than her own with NYS.

She took the money NDS offered then cried victim. She tried to prostitute herself to NYS for money to cover the surgery instead of telling him that Ping ping is his son. People make mistakes but Tan Jing never once regretted how many she hurt along the way or felt any remorse for those she hurt.

She thinks she’s so selfless yet she was always so selfish using everyone around her.

Considering what the first breakup did to him she never second guessed breaking up with him again. This is like a drunk driver who kills someone but has no doubts about going out drunk again. She’s heartless. NYS would never do that to her. Vicky would never do that to anyone. Tan Jing’s actions are beyond forgivable. Only someone as lovesick as NYS can take this beating. She’s not worthy of anyone’s love. Like that one article said, she is selfish and although she acted gentle like she was the victim who needed no ones help, the person she loved the most was herself. She loved herself more than she loved her own son

The SML was sick. I’m not sure in the drama version what exactly he was sick with but in the book he had leukaemia, which means it’s only a matter of time that the disease will take his life.

He doesn’t deserve love SML’s love because he used her to achieve his goals. Being cheated by someone you love is more hurtful than someone you barely know.

Yeah agreed, he definitely matured and grew. I think it was as soon as found he found he had a son there was a definite change in his character. The break up wasn’t what broke him but her lack of love and trust for him. Like he said “Am I that unworthy of love that you can’t trust me? Even Vicky says to him along the lines how a could love have make you feel so unworthy/inferior?

Wallace has always been such an amazing actor, he always put his all in every role. He doesn’t just act, he embodies the characters he plays. He lost 18 pounds for this role. He’s always heartbreaking good and is known for his mircoexpression. The cinemintography for this drama is amazing, I definitely agree it’s like art. The way it’s shot is just beautiful, even the most simple setting you can see how beautiful he captured the scenes.

I don’t think her hate was warranted. How can she claim to have never stopped loving ml yet never cared to find proof? She just let her own assumptions fog her judgment.

Sun didn’t need that life. I think being around her who was not returning his feelings and her everyday acting like a depressive mute turned him into the person he became 7 years later. She was not a fun person to be around. I do think she needs help because up to the very end, her character never changed for the better. I think she and SML are a perfect match for each other.

This is a good drama. I say watch it for the cinematography, story telling, acting, the relationship between the ML and father, Grandfather and grandson. It’s a very high production drama with attention to detail. The drama is shot like a movie. It’s very art like. They say that Wallace’s performance in here is at the ceiling - meaning he’s at his best and it’ll be hard for him to beat this performance. He actually said the same. Ive always found him to be an exceptional actor so this is just another amazing performance by him. The FL is flawed but so are many people in reality

A lot of people complained about this too. That they waited so long for this pair to reunite and they were cheated. I felt the ending was so incomplete with so many questions left unanswered. The original script ended with them putting their 2 kids to bed

Several scriptwriters worked on this and I know there is a war of words between them right now. The ending was changed without any notice and she’s really pissed about it. I think it’s because people are so upset about the FL’s character and blaming it on the script writer so they’re all trying to deflect blame lol

Do you think what she did to Sun was fair? Knowing he had feelings for her? Allowing him to be so involved in her life but not really include him? She never kept him in the loop with what’s go on either. It was so tragic for him to have the ending he had.

She was selfish from beginning to end. She chose her pride and fear of losing PingTing instead of fearing for his life and safety. She did play victim and she wasn’t the victim. Both men were victims of her selfishness. She played with their hearts. She used both men and disposed them as soon as she was done using them. For her to have such deep hatred it would have been nice to see she has solid proof. She didn’t.

This drama would be so perfect if they had not focused so much on her swaying back and forth. Shift the focus on the workplace war at least for the last 10 episodes

When ml found out what happened and he apologized for not being there for her then her learning how much the breakup took an emotional toll on him, she should have been more sensitive towards him. She didn’t care what impact she would cause. Instead over and over she would use her hatred towards his dad against him. She didn’t even second guess her decision to beak up with him again. You could see that ml changed. He no longer was dependent on her love. That second break up didn’t have the same impact as the first. She on the other hand never matured from 7 years ago. She’s still making the same stupid mistakes.

She never stopped loving him yet anything can come between them. This went downhill midway as soon as ML found out what happened to her. Their relationship should have improved but she let her decisions be affected by her hatred and suspicion on the father. It only took a few words from SML to deter her. If she wasn’t prepared to let ML back into her life she shouldn’t have gotten him involved. Her love for him was conditional, whereas his love for her was unconditional. A happy ending would be them sharing custody but not together. Love is about trust and compromise, that was something she lacked greatly. With the sacrifices she made 7 years ago she felt the world owes her. She is such a depressing person to be around.

Aside from the script that probably needed another round of polishing, the performances and everything else was flawless
