And I understand you because I have made the wrong move to read the novel while watching a drama and boy it messed the whole beauty of the drama for me. I wanted more in the drama after reading the novel.

I am loving this drama is so different. For me there is no romance yet. Yes she loves studying him and maybe has grown an interest but no romance yet. And him well he is more impress with her work. And I love that about dramas with action and mystery that if the action and mystery is so great and interesting that they don't turn the focus away from the mystery to give us more romance.

I am not good with the names yet, I know who Ye Zi Xi is and Xu Xu only hahah.

I have watched while it was ongoing and I loved it. I loved how the story most of the drama was based on the cases than the romance with the leads.

And this is coming from a girl who wouldn't watch anything without Romance.

I can give an example that I felt the romance was needed because the cases weren't that great Vampire Detective.

My comment was because I read some people saying that they are not liking it because they are jumping from case to case without solving it.
For me is clear that is all connected is not a different case is the same people involved.

I don't understand why people are saying they are jumping from one case to another. From the episodes I have watched which are 6 because those are the only ones that I seen they have subbed In those 6 it has been the same case.
I can't say I am loving this but I am enjoying it.

Till episode six its one case. So to me it doesn't feel like they are jumping to one case to another with out solving anything. Is the only episodes I have watched because is the only ones subbed.
Besides that I can't say anything about the difference between the novel and drama because I haven't read the novel. But from my experience live actions or adaptations never compare to the novels.

I stopped watching this drama around the tenth episode and before that My Rating was 10/10 stars. I wasn't satisfied with many things so I dropped my rating and dropped the drama. Now I watched the last three episodes and saw than even do it felt rushed It had a great ending. So I will move my rating a bit up not quite to 10 but will give it a better rating.
If it had a different ending It wouldn't of had the special feeling to it. I am glad I watched the last three episodes.
Sometimes you sacrifices many things, you suffer with the choices you make but maybe that was what you had to go thru to have the results that were meant to be. That is what I saw and feel after watching the episodes I watched from this drama.
I don't wish for a sequel because I find It more inspiring this way.
Part of history that are more memorable have end in tragic no happy endings. One example the Titanic. Amazing Tragic Memorable Love stories.

Man I am crying my eyes out!! And not because of the 4th prince we all know his strong reactions they don't amuse me or surprise me anymore. But omg the 14th prince!! I felt more his pain than the 4th prince.

Im with you loved Gogh's Starry Night too. I love when the lead at least give someone a chance who is not the lead. She did go on a date with another guy who was the lead, what I mean at least she gave the go to trying. I don't like leads who just stick to one, well is he treats her right yes but to douchebags no. We all know she will end up with the lead at the end but is exciting if she gives another one a chance at least.

It can't get more Reverse Harem haha She kissed two of this Princes and not in many and if an any the lead girl kisses more than one of her harlem guys. From what I seen in the top and if I remember right only only Cinderella and the fourth Night share a kiss with two guys but one was forced.

And to your first comment No No is not that. More of certain situations that I would of loved to see in the drama.

But the 4th prince was married twice and had kids. I am not going to act all wise and that I know a lot about Korean history so I don't know about times years when he was married. Was it after he was the king? Was it before? I don't know.
But Yes They are Korean and they must know way more than us. We can read things on the internet or books about Korean drama but Only them know what really happened and if we aren't being fool by what we read online or our version of what happened. Because sometimes they just write some things and leave a lot out.

But I don't think we will I agree in some points/topics.

Yeah but sadly it was minimum what they showed with the 13th prince. With the 10th prince was almost the same. But him marrying was very depressing for Rouxi to a point people thought she was in love with him. She didn't eat and wouldn't go out of her room. He was her safe haven on that time. I hope that on the last episodes they at least give the 14th prince and So more time together so the viewers can understand their relationship.

I haven't watch the Chinese Version only read the novel. And they say is almost the same but have some differences. So I don't know about that one.
