But don't a lot of dramas have some thing in common? The way So and Rouxi had an accident and woke up in historical time was so different. They could of just used that idea, but how about having less princes with different numbers not the same as 8th 4th prince etc etc. Not having Wook fall in love with So. I mean if we think about it they could of done it. One comparison can bring lawsuit if it could all the production teams in Asia would of gotten one NO?

The 4th prince was married and had children why not borrow that idea because they wanted to paint the lead actor in a great light.? That is another thing that gets to me, they sweeten him up too much. He went from being this dark grouchy person to less of that. In the novel he kept that attitude.
And is not all little side stories I wished for but in the novel the first half of the book was more of her friendship with others, the 13th, 14th and 10th prince. Like I said in this version they just jump to the romance. And this is coming from the girl who can't watch a drama if it doesn't have a bit of romance.
I have to confessed I only skip thru the episodes why because it just simple doesn't compare. Is hard not to compare at least for me. And I was here thinking this was going to talk the first place away from Another Miss Oh in my list but I made a bad move at episode 10 I read a comment about who she ends in the Cdrama and Novel so I had to know more and bumped into the novel. So when I went back to watch the next episode I was like No No this is not it. I hope they at least keep that, her ending with the 14th prince, because if not that will be the proof of big time fan service.
The same thing happens on adaptions of other books I read Twilight, hunger games etc etc they just don't compare.

But for me is just sad that a lot of the beautiful things the beautiful friendship weren't shown, because in my opinion they based it of more on the romance. Of course besides the history part, fighting for the throne, killing and stuff. But Let's be real back in the days this happened a lot the fighting for the throne in different countries. We even have it now with brothers fighting to be head of the companies the inherited. So that part is not quite unique.

Seo Kang Joon, Jasper Liu (Taiwanese actor) and Kentaro Sakaguchi (Japanese actor) look a lot a like specially when they smile. Not to the point you can say hey they are triples hahah but Yes on certain pictures they all look alike.
Ji soo and Joo hyuk (I saw them together on the show bromance and boy they look a lot a like and they were wearing almost identical close so more so and now they come out on Scarlet heart as brother's so yes)

I think this drama needed more episodes. Too go more into deep into certain situations. I don't want to anger anyone but I read the novel and to be truthful this doesn't compare. I know is different that in this situation is Korean history, but lets remember is an adaption but they left so much out. And I don't mean the history because of course is different. But the female lead interactions with other princes, her relationships, situations she got herself into. I think if they had stick to those situation and interactions with the other princes this would of had better ratings. Because the situations where fun and somewhat lets just go for it. The friendships were what made the novel so great.
Remember when Soo got hurt and all the princes went running to see her to see how she was doing. I didn't get why they love her or care so much why they worry so much if they had just meet her. But reading the novel I was like ahh that is why.

Im so sad because there is just three episodes and so far from what I read in the novel is not even close to have the deserving ending. Sorry to say this drama needed more episodes. I hope it doesn't feel rush. And yes I know is different because is Korean history but remember Hae Soo part was added and adapted from the novel. With that said all surrounding her is fictitious So the romance her interactions were adapted from the novel but so far is still missing so much more. I wished they had added the important relationship she had in the novel with the other princes. And one of the most important one until the last episode that was released today hasn't even grown, it will be such a boomer if they don't even give it a chance to grow on the last three episodes.

But yes I agree totally with you. I will repeat what I said on the top comment. I only read the novel and so far we have the same thoughts.
Not hating or talking bad about other comments but when I leave a comment saying that they aren't sticking with the novel. They always say is different because this is Korean history. And trust me I get that. But what about the other things that made the novel great like the relationship with the other princes. How it ended? Will the Korean version end the same. Her with the fourteen prince? The 4th prince not having such a good ending. I have read comments from other ppl who have read the novel and watched this version saying that they think is fan service to give the lead actor Lee Joon Ki a good light meaning make him look good. And don't get me wrong I love Lee Joon Ki he is one of my favorite actors.

I love your comment! Because even do I haven't watched the drama I did read the novel and like you explained it is how I felt about the novel. I stopped watching the Korean version because what I enjoyed more from the novel was the relationship she had with the other princes and they didn't show that much in the Korean version only her relationship with the 10th prince. I think they should of made the KV more longer.

I am loving it and I am already disliking a character. I want to slap her a cross that smiling face. I hope they keep it this good, I really need a drama to watch. All the guys are cute!! Even the douchebag of fiancé.
And the bodyguard remake scene was awesome.
And Young Hwang is one of the hottest Korean actors ever. And what I love most is he smiled a lot and that is what I love about him more.

Will watch this because I love Young Hwang. I love his acting and well him hahah. The only thing is the lead girl. I guess because I am used to seeing her as the older lady, I can't see her paired with both guys. The is the only downer. I love the description I love it sound weird and unique. I need that right now I am in a funk and I am not watching any dramas right now.
