Maybe I get too much into it hahaha but I just don’t get it, how people don’t see certain things I’m like how can you not see it, it’s there! Hahaha I want to shake them and be like see. Like is clear as day.

Exactly I understand viewing different perspectives and I respect we all have different ones but when is clearly as light? She keeps saying brothers. Not best friends or friends. She doesn’t see them as men. She does later on with the oldest.

Hey I don’t get why people can’t see ( I was arguing with someone on a top comment hahaha) she calls them both brothers, some people keep saying there is no sibling bond! Like literally she keeps showing off her brothers, even with the guy From the letter she is like I have two brothers something you don’t have, she calls herself their sister, why aren’t people seeing it? That she really consider them their siblings. That’s why she got hurt when the older brother tells her we aren’t siblings like that! I get the writers changing it a bit to make it less bad but it still there.
Just because she grew up with them doesn’t mean anything. Lots of childhood friends in dramas grow up together.…
Sorry I think we aren’t watching the same drama, the older brother says how would that work who would adopt who, the girl never said I want my dad to adopt your dad! Re watch episode 1. When did she said it was for people to stop bullying her about it? Or are you guessing because you don’t want to feel guilty about the sibling feeling thing? The guy when they Argued on the tracks with her even told her a papers won’t make a difference we aren’t blood related but it wasn’t her it was him. She laters says it but because of the brother saying it first. She always shows off her brothers, she doesn’t see them as men. So I don’t get when you say they don’t see each other as siblings. She even shows it off with the new guy the guy that sent the letter I have two brothers and I have a family. You don’t have that! She never says I have two friends or two best friends. I don’t get why you don’t get when she calls them brothers!!!! She calls herself their sister!! She got hurt when the older brother said we aren’t siblings like that, she didn’t see them like that why would she get hurt. Also the only change to the sibling thing is the ML he has been showing more romance interest that the original and he gets like mad about her saying they are siblings. But to her they are both siblings.
(This is my opinion I’m not giving it so others agree or not or to tell me I’m correct or wrong. Or asking anyone opinion or take on it. There’s plenty of space on this comment section to give your own take.)
So far I dislike Hae Jun character on this so much! They butcher the original character. So sad. They doing what they did in True Beauty they made the SML change so much from the book character in a way to not seem such a hero to make the ML shine! Is out of character for the OG to go and tell the sister to say sorry to a bully! Then the ML comes in and say sorry for what, like a hero.

Yeah not everything is bad, I just would of preferred that if there was such big differences why not try to change it to a point it would of been a different drama. Example why wasn’t the dad who abandon the oldest and the mom stayed but struggle to a point the dad of the fL had to help her out, but is not a present parent, a abandoned kid left on the restaurant and no one knows who the parents are. The thing is Kdramas change adaptations too much and example is Little women was nothing like it but they want the traffic the name brings example now that anyone wants to watch the original or looks for the hashtag #littlewomen the kdrama will also come out. But they trashed the original with being nothing like it. There was a Jdrama adaptation where So Min was the lead and In GUk the original the leads were siblings blood siblings and the guy knew but she didn’t to take revenge he enamored her and the did stuff he did know she didn’t later she found out and tried to kill him and herself, kdrama change all that. That was the big part of the Jdrama! Why even do it then! Get me?
My daughter is 16. I have a 25 who also watched it but I haven’t asked her yet.

Oh I agree that Cdramas can shorten their episodes, I also agree that because Family by Choice doesn’t have the length to give us those moments is what is not fulfilling us like Go Ahead did. So it’s double whammy hehehe I showed my daughter who has watch Go ahead and she doesn’t like seven or weilong so is not her preference for actors the scene of when the mom leaves, I’m like just watch that scene and tell me which one gave you more feels and she still choose the Cdrama. She is like the kids even acted better on the Chinese one.I don’t think is just the length but also I think is other elements.
Just because she grew up with them doesn’t mean anything. Lots of childhood friends in dramas grow up together.…
I agree 100 percent. Hahaha also people say they don’t consider each other siblings? Wasn’t the girl trying to adopt them? She said have you guys thought about the adoption contract, the brother says do you even know what that is she says “you're legally a biological parent and child, even if you aren't blood-related.” She wanted to share the same last name. They told her that is not how it works remember? So how isn’t she considering them siblings. People want to think that just so others who don’t like the whole siblings thing ignore it and watch it.

Reply 1988 was actually 20 episodes 1:35, and sadly I didn’t feel as connected as Go Ahead. Not in like the feelings part, the friendship was great but besides that I didn’t cry or feel attached to parents or other family members. Actually I dislike the FL sister with Passion hahaha but I agree Go Ahead had some episodes that dragged but I think most Cdramas have that gap where is just fill in episodes. Snooze zone Hahha
There’s been Kdramas who have like fired up my emotions because of angst in the romance part, Innocent Man and Another Miss Oh, there was so much excitement (for me) I felt my heart was going to explode. But again is preference and point of views. I haven’t fell emotionally attached to any family drama like with what I mentioned the parents or grandparents. Uncles etc etc not in Kdramas.

They could of made it in to a 40 episode is not like they don’t have those they have 100 and plus episodes on family dramas. But sadly they preferred using idols that can’t sign up for that because they know people will watch.
Yeah maybe that’s why it broke our Hearts more like the way he stays looking at her but you actually see the mom break down, how the little girl is like so I can keep him now. Yay I have a brother now: well personally the go ahead was better in my opinion:
Like people saying this is a bit more focus on the teen school life. I would of loved more children episodes.

For me what I like about Go ahead wasn’t the romance, it would of been a 10 without romance actually. I love those scenes with the father, you remember the scenes when he is drunk and calls out the aunt of one of the boys? The scene when that little boy is working with his grandparent and both the dad and kids were crying because they saw him like that, the raw feelings of Weilong character when he is all traumatized by the mother. Sorry if you are loving this but the scene when the mom leaves with the luggage on hand didn’t hit the same in this one, the Chinese kids or director did better job on Go ahead, this is one of the few dramas that mad me cry. The kids acting was superb, Weilong did good for always being cast as plain faced no feelings male lead, add the funny side of the female character.

Okay In Go Ahead the lead girl doesn’t have any feelings beside siblings love, don’t get fooled by people saying they aren’t like siblings she literally calls them brothers and wanted them to be brothers for real. Also they do have a years separation but she talked with them by FaceTime and text for years but later the brothers get busy and she gets mad, when they come back she acts like she doesn’t care and say they aren’t her brothers but when she think she hurts the oldest brother feeling and he is leaving she tells him okay okay you guys are my brothers! She feels so uncomfortable when the oldest confesses she is like dude what is wrong with you we are siblings.bowyer she changed her mind, but No time didn’t make her not see them as brothers, either people who tell you other wise didn’t get it, or just want you to watch the kdrama. If you want to watch a good drama watch Go ahead but not for the romance I gave it a 9 for the family drama the way the dad took care of them and there’s a scene that made me cry, the abuse of the mothers towards the boys. If you don’t like the whole fake sibling thing and stuff and you only watching for romance this won’t be for you. Unless they completely change everything like Kdramas always do in adaptations.

The FL Go ahead never liked his brothers in any way until one confessed, also you have to remember in Go Ahead she was in contact with them FaceTime and text until they guys go busy and it when she didn’t even want to talk to them and is not like she didn’t care for them as siblings anymore because the moment she told them you guys aren’t anything to me and she thought Weilong character was going to leave she was like ok I was wrong you guys are my brothers! So her feelings even if it was years apart she still Consider them brothers, that’s why she was weird about about her gege confession.
But I love your point of view.
When did she said it was for people to stop bullying her about it? Or are you guessing because you don’t want to feel guilty about the sibling feeling thing?
