This part is the best of all HIStorys. I have to admit,I am still crying.
If you want to end the show with happy ending, do not watch the last episode. I wasn't prepared for a tragedy.
Story is great, Yu Xi Gu character was not at my taste, but what writers did to his character was really cruel. His all life was hard, and with first opportunity to have it all (home, love, education..) BOOOM. It is not fair. 2nd couple was great from the start. Hope we will get HIStory4: Make Our Days Count 2 , with same cast and without tragedy.

Is it a happy ending?

If you are great friend with someone, you treat him with respect, you have trust in that person (but Zhan Jun Bai didn't). He even made Yu Tang Chun eat crabs (2 times-)., put him in chains even when he knew YTC has a few days left of life( was that a care from his side? He was torturing a dying person----friends do not do that). Its not toxic, its sadistic . Psychopath can't feel love, empathy and have understanding for another person. Well YTC was like a pet..he was just a company(for singing,drinking tea..) to ZJB in his free time. When ZJB was busy YTC moved to his spot, I mean room.

Of course, we're here to exchange our opinion about the show.

And he did (die), with or without the mole. Take a kid with me means when mom left her 11yo kid with (narco ) dad and left, well if I decide to leave my husband , I would never leave my kid..so I would take him with me. ( you asked me if I was her-mom- what would I do)

But her 2nd son died, so she did not make the right choice. Jiang Yue Lou is a great detective/policeman, knowing who is attacking him is advantage. Maybe if he knew, he would have a chance to save his brother. If I were her, I would never leave my kid . If I have to leave , i would take my son with me. Having a chance to save both of them, and not sacrificed one of them from the start, like she did is a win win. But this is soup opera.

I agree with all you said, he haven't received love. It was ''act of kindness''. The point is that he doesn't know what is love or what is having a friend. But we can't romanticized lack of trust and brutality .

I know, I saw those videos before I started with the drama. But after seeing a bigger picture and watched all episodes, I can't see them like that anymore. :(

But Jiang Yue Lou not knowing is a death for him. So mommy chose a 2nd son and letdown JYL again. Song Rong was a great character. I'm so irritated that they kill them all.

Even if the knife accident wasn't planned, being a friend is more then that. Yu Tang Chun was something like a pet for Zhan Jun Bai . Between friends you need to have a trust. There's no such a thing here. He did saved him from his uncle(maybe just a payback for a knife?), but just after that he gave him crabs...is that what friends do to each other? no, no...

Yes, she does have another son. Look this way, Jiang Yue Lou is already in danger. She didn't kill her own son, but Zhan Jun Bai will sent another killer. If mom helped her son, the other son in prison would be safe too. So no redemption from mom ( for leaving her kid at the age of 11).
Time skip as few days is ok, speed healing is still miraculous. ;)

Ok, so I read some comments before I started with this drama. As mystery/crime soup opera lover, expected more on that field. Bromance is more Brotherhood, but ok, noting special ..some words, few hugs and touches ( I know, I know Chinese censorship) . Anyway, some parts are really stuck in my head...
1. ML s lack of empathy (just) for his sister ( he lost her, but he acted like its not a big deal..help the others , no searching for her, she 'died' he shed a single tear...God, I know its drama,but so unrealistic and stupid)
2. They said there is a thing between Yu Tang Chun and Zhan Jun Bai....yes, its called brutality. But something more..hmm, no no no.
Every relationship in this drama is mild. Just like a modern type of friendship .
3. ML mother, huuhh, what a dumb part.. Ok she didn't recognize her son at first, try to kill him itc. But when she finds out, her best solution was suicide. Not to revile the person who hired her, so her son is still in danger. ( I mean , com'on ...really? )
4. How many times they were wounded and recovery was so fast? Ridiculous!
5. The name of drama should be''The one where everyone's dying''


Anyway, loved the concept, story and scenography. All actors are great, chemistry between main leads is mild , in the first half of the show. More emotions are definitely needed. Jin Da Cheng was a nice surprise. This is my 3rd bl/bromanse drama, and its on the 3rd place.

3rd Killer and Healer

All the killing and ending was so depressed, but you can find on yt alternative happy ending and end it with that. Enjoy

If you are fan of The Untamed, you're certainly gonna love the Word of Honer.

Gu Xiang and Cao Weinning were great. I wish they could have a happy ending, but nooo.

If it's in RL I would agree , but this is soup opera. And the whole drama is so bad ( writing and acting).

To be honest, he saw her first. Fell in love with her first, helped her. But hey, girls like guys who mistreat them and beat them . Yeey, and they lived happily ever after <3
