It's not annoying. Her connection with 2ml is more like friendship from her pov. ML finds out early, around ep 12/13 I think. As for the question when FL starts to fall for ML, i would say in the middle of the show but until ep 38 or so, she would think it's just friendship.

Have in mind it's republican period and she is a girl pretending to be a man. She looks at them all in the academy as friends. That's the bond they push through the show, but it is great. Do not expect kissing scenes, it's all deleted, but you can find it on yt or in discussion section here.

But no matter what, this is one of the best c dramas... acting, characters, scenography, music, story about friendship and love... It's all perfectly combined.

It's so monstrous, I doubt they'll go with the same scenario ( probably like in MoLi, they changed almost everything, but still said it's by the novel). But surely, we can expect sad ending..,

Of course we do. His character is powerful, smart,cunning, sexy, hot and unmoral. What's there not to be liked?

I wished for Lin grandfather to find out about FL's true identity (even at his end so he could regret it for leaving Shen family to be murdered).
FL character was way too perfect, smart and experienced, specifically in her younger age.
Some scenes were great but still, I couldn't feel main couple. I don't think I would come back and rewatch it. But still, the show has great potential and my recommendation. Strong 9/10

This show is more professional and more mature than TES.

Did they hired another person to finish the show? What the duck was this? Last half of the show is ruined it all. Rated it 7.5/10 just because of the actors

No reason? Her family were executed because Lin family watched their own asses and let the whole Shen family die. Lin's could've warned them, like LJQ suggested but no. LJQ was a teenager, but he was at marriageable age ,so he could've done something...FL character is too good ( to help and protect Lin family members at any moment) Revenge was what she needed...so leaving him without sex for 1 and a half year is not so harsh punishment.
