I read Zhu Yu ( pursuit of Jade - book was way better, 2nd part of the show was weaker) and Touch of green ( I think that's the name). Stared Mo Li last year, but I just couldn't go more than a half of the novel ( I liked it more than the show, but the novel is way too long 450+chapters, so I got tired).
Word of Honor novel is still on the half.. I will definitely read Ashes to crown and fight for love.

I wish I could find English translation in paper 😭 it's my go to book. I liked 2ml in the novel and felt bad for him in the show. Everything about emperor didn't bothered be to much as how they cut some scenes of their fight ( my favorite was on the river, when they burn down the ship and when He Yan was out of herself calling for him...they put that part in the Ran city fight in the show,but still )... No to mention how I wished to see her younger brother and father in the show..

I think you don't even know what you want or what you like. Just because you read it doesn't mean FL acting is out of place. I read the rebirth of star general more than 5 times in a year ( I think I memorized it by heart) but that doesn't mean the show has to follow the novel.

That's right. No matter how strong the characters are written and how powerful the story is,if there's no romance or not enough romance for their taste, they'll rate the show poorly. Quality doesn't have any power, if their quantity of romance is satisfied. Shallow...

Let's be honest, here people don't even understand the character and how that character should be , inside out. I can't be bothered by other people opinion, some can like it or not. But still trying to talk without understanding the plot or the character, well that's the irritating thing.

I do watch AtC as well. They both got into their role just perfect. FL in AtC is more into surviving, but here, FL is driven by revenge. And that's why can't be compared. I find her crying in ep10 just ok, mixed emotions from pain, hate and despair. Nothing spectacular. but still good inside the character. As for everything else and specially her facial expressions are top notch.

Well, we should ask scenarists that. Probably so she could fall for him first and not for gratitude....and so that show could be longer.
