Yeah, at the moment I'm not sure about his prior feelings towards her either. Maybe it was always just dislike. But I wouldn't be surprised if they do give them some romantic history in future episodes. We shall see..😄

I agree. I would love a kdrama where they actually try to do a full-scale modern Korean monarchy. As in, the King is very much still relevant, in charge and making significant decisions. But I understand such a story would be difficult to write.

He could've had a girlfriend like at least 3 times now and he fumbled all 3 of them with his own actions and decisions.
