Done with ep 1. The premise is too strong. I love the action scenes. Jisung’s acting skills is phenomenal! The sequence is really good. Can’t wait to see the rest.
Connection was announced 12/09 and sun kyun passed away 27/12 2023. It has nothing to do with it, also it’s really weird that you think there shouldn’t be a drama involving drugs, there are tons of kdramas that has drugs as the subplot. It’s only the main plot here and i can only congratulate Ji sung’s courage to pick up a very hard role to portray.
8.4? Seriously? This deserves way higher score! Every episode feels like I’m watching a classical political period movie with high production and good characters. Some of the higher rated dramas here doesn’t even come close to this level of quality. I’m really enjoying this.

I cannot express my disappointment and shock in words but… When i saw the news i was flabbergasted. I can’t believe we lost one of the most talented actors in the K-industry. Lee Sun Kyun being the real Park Dong Woon but a one that has given up… I don’t know i will be able to watch My Mister (my fav Kdrama) knowing we lost him in real life. Life is so cruel, rest in peace Lee Sun Kyun, you’ll be missed and remembered…
Okay, since my mister is my top korean drama i’m not keeping my expectations high because both iu and sun kyun did such a good job portraying the characters from start to finish. It’ll be hard to reach their level when it comes the acting. Also, let’s not forget what made My Mister a masterpiece was also the soundtrack, I hope we’ll be able to see a good score for this one too, although in a different language. Anyway, Mark Chao being casted as Park Dong Woon is such a fitting choice like? He’s one of the actors in china that tries to pick good script everytime, so I’m glad that he’s taking part in this. I love the current poster, it depicts the story very well.
One of the best dramas of the year, i totally loved the chemistry and the story! Zhang Linghe outdid himself with this one, i hope we can see him in similar roles to this. Can’t wait for his upcoming works and i also hope we can see Linghe and Bai Lu’s reunion sometime in the future.
From green flag Gong Ziyu to red flag Xie Wei, Zhang Linghe is serving versality . Someone who made debut in 2020…
Yes, I love Zhang Linghe and how he grows as an actor. But somehow i also think that he’s been casted to those female centric costume dramas and that kinda overshadows the true potential of his acting. He always leaves me in awe with his visuals but I wish we could see him in a male centric costume dramas and modern dramas with versitale plot that would make him shine. Wishing him all the best.

Again, it comes down to personal preferences. Beyond Evil is rated 8.1 on imdb, close to my rating. And surely i’ve seen many comments that Said it felt draggy esp in the middle part.

Unlike you, I’m not trying to impose my opinions to others. Especially watching dramas, chill it’s not that deep. I shared my own view of the drama and everybody is free what to think. Ironically you’’re judging me by my other ratings lmao. Okay, and? I gave beyond evil 8 which I thought was a good show overall but sometimes felt VERY draggy and boring and I rated ballerina 7 because I actually enjoyed cinematography and flow a lot although the plot was off. It’s simple as that . But if you want me to break down your ratings to other shows I can do it better than you be assured :) These lifeless mdl enthusiasts be oversensitive and irrational as usual.

The love triangle is indeed annoying and kinda kills the potential of a deeper relationship between the main leads but the acting is really good. Some of the parts of this drama is highly unrealistic but think of it as a regular gangster show. So, it’s an okay drama to watch, however i don’t think that it deserves a higher rating like some say in fact the current rating is high for this show. Not bad though, but not amazing.
