This more or less match with what was announced when they started filming last year, that Youku was hoping to air it Q4. I'd be happy with a late fall/ winter release 🙏❤️ just like AJTL and TLI last year.

The 🍉 is back!! It's been a few months since we've last heard of it. I was just curious about this pairing at first but now it's growing on me 😊

Just wait for the announcement of it passing review with success THEN and only THEN we can all start waiting, hoping , praying for it to drop anytime.
I don't know why the rumors about its release date are still going crazy and honestly I don't like it. It gives the false impression that the drama is being delayed when it's absolutely not the case. They finished filming only 4months ago. Usually, if everything goes right, a costume drama takes ~1y to air. I know that Youku went completly crazy by releasing TPR so soon after they wrapped but this is absolutely not the norm! 🙅‍♀️
Having a talented cast is great, but post production is also very important if you want a high quality drama and quality takes time( just to be very clear this is not some kind of underhanded dig at TPR, I like both ZJM and ZLH but haven't watched TPR yet so I'm very neutral about it ☮) .

I've been waiting for ZLS and LYN to work together again for years, so in a way, one can say that I've already been waiting for this drama to air for years, still even if I can't wait to finally see my long awaited dream come true, I really really don't want them to rush this drama -also I must admit a small part of me REALLY want it to air something like yesterday just in case someone again forgot to pay their freaking taxes!!! If this happen I swear I'm gonna start making voodoo dolls!! 👹
Anyway...

All that to say, it's perfectly normal if we don't know yet when it's coming. Plenty of people are saying it's gonna air this summer because of baseless rumors, iirc ZLS herself said a few months ago that it would most likely air in 2025, now again actors have no say in this, sometimes they even learn about it at the same time as the rest of us. If I had to take an educated guess I would put all my peanuts on this winter or at the very earliest late autumn but now with TPR airing at the speed of light I simply don't know 🤷‍♀️

So back to square 1: let's just wait for it to get its distribution license before getting excited!🤗💟

Nope. Most likely coming up next for Youku should be Dashing Youth the prequel of Blood of Youth for which they have been releasing a lot of new materials recently.
You can be sure that the minute TSoPG gets its distribution license it's gonna be ALL OVER twitter. This is not happening now so there's just no way this is coming next. Also I don't think ZLS especially targets winter windows,
I don't know what gave you this idea. Yeah TLI aired winter last year but LLtG, Gen Z, HL or HT were all summer dramas or very close to it for Gen Z.
Moreover no matter how well known an actor or actress is, they don't have a say in when a drama is gonna air 🤷‍♀️ this choice belongs to the platform ( in this case Youku ) and no one else.

They only wrapped filming in March. As much as I want to see it I hope they take their time with post prod and don't rush it. Hopefully we'll be able to watch it this winter 🙏✨

True, LYN death rate in costume drama isn't good 😭 BUT let's not forget that he did survive in The Long Ballad with ZLS 🥰 Hopefully she will be his lucky star once more 🙏🌟

Not yet & haven't heard anything about it being ready to pass review, but they only wrapped up filming in march so that's pretty normal and expected.

a) there is already a remake of it
b) ZLS is just too big of a name now for an ensemble cast like this

-Hotel del Luna, ZLS as the hotel owner just ❤️‍🔥but seeing how ghosts are a no-no for now, this will never be anything but a dream...
-the King Eternal Monarch, even if I wasn't a huge fan of it just imagining ZLS as a no nonsense cop falling in love with a destitute kinda Prince charming 💖 I just can't stop dreaming about her as a modern cop ever since her fight scene in ep1 of Gen Z. She was SO GOOD!!! But this is a rather ML centric story so even if the story is twisted somehow to fit censorship I guess not.

When Ultimate Note and thenTLB came out most people were praising him, saying that his acting was a good surprise and that they were really looking forward to more of him... strangely ever since he became ML he seems to have a target on his back with some people really going out of their way to be as rude and unpleasant as possible. That is saddly how C-ent is for most actors and actresses that are into idole drama (even if I don't think AJTL can be considered proper idole drama). The more famous you get, the more some people are gonna hate you for it.
So in some twisted sort of way this is also a good sign, or that's what I'm telling myself to make it less infuriating.
Also I tend to rewatch this video of him during the promo of Heroes 2022 which always put a smile on my face 🤗

I know that it's quite hard for international fans to get news about dramas and that's also why she benefits so much from it. For news specific to LYN if you are a twitter user I would definitely recommend following @liu_yuning08 and @fandoestrans even though none of them are covering Heroes right now, Fan is mostly covering the tv show The Truth season 2 and LYN update had some personal stuff going on but she is back now, she also translated some of the chapters of the novel which inspired TSOPG. And for news specific to TSOPG @ZLYM_TLOJ an account dedicated to the drama. I hope this help 👍✨

I would expect nothing else from her. I used to follow her when I'd only just started getting into C-dramas and I thought she was very matter of fact and down to earth, I used to like how she seemed to be mostly neutral and rational. Well now I know better. I've come to know about 4 cases where she spread misinformation that were really damaging for some actors and never bothered to rectify once those were debunked. That was years ago and more than enough for me to give up on her and never look back.

To be clear I don't care if her or anyone doesn't share the same opinion as me about a drama, to each their own and that's perfectly fine. But the lack of clarification over some very sensible subject and in HL case pedophilia & grooming are things that I absolutely do not condone & simply disgust me. She is a very polarizing figure in international C-ent. I would recommand that if you want to share some of her videos at the very least ALWAYS mention it's her, as many people (myself included) don't want to see her on their youtube suggestion.

And of course it had to happen under one of her video when she already downplay the quality of ZLS's dramas most of the time 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

The way they have decided to hyperfocus on ZLS & LYN is most definitely rising question about their mental health. Because no one should spend this much time and effort on 2 person they don't like. But please let's not make insensitive joke about people with disability and mental illness. They do not deserve to be stigmatized and associated with vile individual like this one 🙏💛
