So I just catch up with this drama, came here to see what people were thinking about it, and my somewhat weird feelings about the romance suddenly makes sense. Turns out they're not interested in each other all of a sudden, but rather we got half their interactions cut down… Nice. I was already feeling a tad bit disappointed because, the first trailer showcased a much more gritty and dark plot than what we got.
I dont have any issue with Yukee Chan acting, I thought she was really moving & good in Memory of Encaustic Tile…
Definitely. Dylan Wang apparently had a “bad reputation” before his latest drama, and now a lot of people are singing him praises. Which shows that shitty scripts among other things can ruin you. A good script and director, and also chemistry with your co-stars will do wonders sometimes. I have personally never seen any of her dramas, so I have a very open mind regarding her performance, who knows.
I like Diliraba individually as an actress but I don't like her with actors she had worked with till now....I…
The reception of the ship for the Long Ballad is mixed some love that ship to bits and some not so much. I personally think she did well with Ren and her co star Xiao Shun Yao. in the Blue Whisper too. But is true that she has amazing chemistry with him lol.
Whoa! Comments section seems to be on 🔥🔥🔥with this one! 🤣😅 Dylan certainly nails the morally gray…
Based on the trailer alone, it's giving me a 50% love and 50% revenge. Since this trailer is pretty much all about WH's character is not very trustworthy. Later on when they add a more female lead centric one will see for sure I think.
Reason for this is Most of the MLS are same cold type and it doesn't demand better acting or bad boy type which…
Cold male lead can be tricky tho. When you reach the part when they fall in love, and they still look like cold fish well... But it's true that some actors really only shine on those types of dramas. I think Wu Lei is a good example of actual good cold character. Loved him in LLTG.
So I just want to quickly address some of the backlash people are receiving for voicing an opinion. Most of the people that stated their negative opinions of the female lead in answer to MY question were really kind and respectful. I don't see why they should be pointed out. It's not like they came out of nowhere just to throw hate at a person. And all in all people are entitled to their opinions. Maybe they're not even here for her as character and just want to see other actors, or maybe just want this actress to have a break through. Some people don't give up an entire production just because of a person. Also every comment was about expectations of a good performance. I feel that is extremely dumb to shut down comments arguing that is straight up hate or "because she's female". Asking about someone's view of an actress or actor you don't know to get a conversations started is wrong now? Anyways just wanted to say this since I feel low key attacked for no reason whatsoever. I'm not here to create drama nor hate on anyone and besides attacking each other for having dissimilar opinions is not the type of energy we should send on a drama we're all waiting to see.
She’s not bad bad, I just personally think she over acts (like theator style) quite a bit. Kinda depends on…
I've been reading everyone's perceptions for a couple of days now and is pretty much mixed. The trailer is mainly focused on Wang Hedi so not much of her either. The plot looks super interesting to me so if chemistry falls short i'll be disappointed.
I feel like her acting skills ARE THERE but maybe she hasn't developed a wider range of skills just yet. I personally…
And she barely does anything in the trailer, so is kind of difficult to form an opinion. Hopefully she'll have great chemistry with Dylan Wang. Also, thanks! I love Ling Buyi way too much lol
