Your loss, main characters here are quite believable and their personalities are explored well, it's just not…
Girl, you have been literally on every post that mentions something remotely negative. Lmao is not that serious. If not liking romance makes you think you're somehow better than the rest go off. But we are not the ones throwing tantrums because someone doesn't like what we do. i was at no point being mean spirited in what I said in my review. Yet you came running, go to rest.
Well I had to drop after 10 episodes. Mainly because at no point did I connect emotionally with either character. Li Pei Yi was lowkey deranged in the way she used her own body as a sacrifice but, the thing is that I felt almost nothing for her. Her characterization should've gone one of two ways: she became emotionally detached because of trauma or they make her a morality enforcer. Neither happened. Its literally the oldest debate show vs tell. Nobody (or at least most people) is going to empathize with a character based on a simple line of text. You need to actually witness their suffering as a character to buy into the characterization. The latest criminal case showcases the bravery of seven maids solving the mystery firsthand, but during what should be a poignant, emotional speech, Bai Lu’s face says absolutely nothing. The series has very good actors, but it lacks emotional depth. Instead of connecting with everything the supporting characters are enduring, I just feel apathy.
I know Feng Suige doesn't want to be king, but he's the only good candidate for the position. He would be a really…
Yeah, I'm not sure I like that twist in the story. For someone that spent most of his youth defending his empire, it strikes me a lil bit ooc that he would be content not being it's ruler. Particularly because, he's the only one fit for it. Her sister is a dumbass and his little brother is too soft for it. He may not like it but if he does not do it, people will undoubtedly suffer more.
Just dropping this at episode 26. It was bad and honestly boring. Best part was the very first 5 or 6 episodes. After that it became bland. Also another red flag baiting cdrama. After those first episodes you see he was actually a good person *rolls eyes*. Actual god red flag male lead are found in TTEOTM and Story of Kunnin Palace. This year has been ass for me in terms of dramas. Lastly, I didn't feel any particular chemistry between the leads.
While one can argue that she isn't a great actress, the drop in rating may have to do with the mess the last 10…
There is a sml but I wouldn't call it a love triangle. Also he gets a love a line later on with another woman. So he gets a lil annoying as he is her guard but not enough. The couple gets together probably around episode 13 or 14. And there is a breakup around episode 20.
I don't care who plays it, as long as they have some talent and faithfully perform the novel, not some weird adaptation…
Honestly? Same. As long as the actors can act the part and embody the characters, I have no issue with them. The script can be difficult because I don't know how much they'll change. Particularly with the male lead and his motivations.
Reba looks insane in all the photos, like WHAT? Finally, someone realized that she looks best on bold colours and cold tones, and it shows. All the wardrobe she's using enhance her complexion and natural beauty. Let this drama be good please, let this not be another beauty trap!
The double was based on one of her novels for example which is called “Marriage of the Di Daughter”. Then you have: . “The Glory” (soon to air, hopefully), that's based on the novel “The Reborn Noble Girl Is Hard to Find”. . “Rebirth of the ill-fated consort”. No drama adaptation so far. . Rebirth of the malicious empress of military lineage. Has announced adaptation a few years back, but all we got so far are rumours. Also, perhaps her most popular book. To name a few.

IMO, they are. I was ready to rate this drama 8/10 and dropped to 6.5/10. But I'll say, give it a chance and see how you feel about it. I feel like this drama could've done better with 25 episodes or so instead of 30.
Angelababy haters are going to all her series and downvoting in a ridiculous way. This series started at 8.5 and…
While one can argue that she isn't a great actress, the drop in rating may have to do with the mess the last 10 episodes are. And not particularly with how her acting went.
Can we take a minute to digest the abuse of the fake death scheme in this drama? And it's all condensed in like the last ten episodes (that were the worst of the lot and severely damaged the rating for this drama). Almost all the main cast fakes their death and in some cases it's meaningless because they end up dying like 2 minutes later. — Fl fakes death by jumping the cliff. — All of her family were faked killed to get her back. — The Luo tribe dude faked his suicide only to stage a dumb ass rebellion and end up truly dead. — SML Fakes his death, only to die some minutes later. — Finally, ML and his aide also fakes their death. It's ridiculous and it doesn't make any sense. It's like the writers just didn't know what to do with the plot and just used over and over the same trick. Ultimately, it cheapened the story as a whole and even some characters lost depth. I was honestly disconnected from the whole because it was so poorly done. I feel like the only death that actually had some meaning was Xi Mo's.
