He’s a bully like his evil grandmother.
First episode started with a bang! It has a telenovela vibe. It’s high action and a little gritty with comedic and lighthearted moments thrown into the mix. The banter between ML and FL is hilarious. I find them both endearing in their own ways. I love that they both know how to fight and it’s believable. FL actually looks strong, which is nice.
I like the angle of a law enforcement daughter vlogger who champions police and the investigative journalist who seeks the truth no matter the cost and how it leads them to butt heads but ultimately team up.
The Philippines has been coming through with some interesting drama plots, and this one looks like my kind of story. Lo and behold, Kim Ji Soo is in it too. 78 episodes is a slog, but the 24-minute duration makes it more doable. I’m going to give this drama a try!
Whoa!!! The brotherly bad blood between Sarm and Sib is intense. I believe them! Sib’s got hands.😳 Whew, if looks could kill, Sarm would be six feet deep. Sib does NOT play!😭 He also had the nerve to look handsome and classy in that crisp, white dress shirt while punching Sarm’s lights out.🥀

I like how capable, confident, and resilient Jam is. He’s small, but he doesn’t shrink. I look forward to seeing more of his interactions with Sarm. Sarm’s post-it note was too funny and cute. He’s a brat, but I like him a lot. It’s fun seeing Max play a character like him!

Prince was like, “What’s going down in the countryside that my son is gone for long periods?” Meanwhile, Thin has a whole husband, manor, and garden.😂 I thought Prince said he wasn’t getting involved in his personal business anymore???
Chat didn’t have much screen time this episode, but I hollered when he walked up proudly showing off his “big boy” car just like his dad’s and Prince parked him saying, “We don’t want to be caught up in your gambling BS!”😂 I know he wishes be could still drop Chat off at an orphanage.🥀 I love their scenes together! It’s like a reality show.
I’m becoming more and more doubtful that Phob is actually good at his job. 😭 He gets busted every time he tries to go under the radar for even the easiest things, like searching his boyfriend’s briefcase which he got busted twice doing. He’s not stealthy at all. They need to remove him from that mission. If he can’t even sneak around clueless Thin, he certainly can’t hide from the government.😔
I can’t believe they’re going to stuff everything into the final episode.😩 We’ve barely scratched the surface. There’s corruption, trafficking, and murder happening at the top of the industry. They built too complex of a world to resolve everything in an hour.
Most importantly, where’s my boo, Peneung???😭 We spent all that time on his plot last week not to see him in the Dream hallways, working with Karjorn, and doing his little comeback projects?
I don’t understand why Sunny didn’t kidnap Sun at the empty carpark but later sent thugs to a busy street…
Shockingly, committing his first murder seemed to shake him up a bit. He cried in the bathroom afterwards. He’s selfish and out for himself, but I think things have gone too far even for him. I feel like between that and having a personal history with Sun, he couldn’t finish the job himself and instead sent others to do his dirty work. It’s like how Kongkiat told him a couple episodes ago that if he wants to get rid of his competition, he should do it himself and stop depending on Kongkiat for everything.
Danyi is intent on not becoming “Christmas cake.”😩 I’ve never seen someone beard so hard for a person who DOESN’T want it.🥀 Over there stirring up old people by being manipulative. Smh. Have some dignity like the good sis, Yunting!

I had a feeling Woo Jin was connected to Murthelp. The way he looked directly into that camera mounted on that tree trunk made me suspicious, but I was surprised to be possibly right when the guns spilled out and he had that text message.😂 I think he genuinely is interested in Ji An because of how he acts regarding her when she isn’t around. I’m all for it if he’s truly a good person.
My poor girl Ji An is suffering from PTSD. Hopefully she gets help, but I doubt it. She laid that cute Thai man out and he was just being a good human by returning her forgotten phone. She’s hypervigilant after surviving that war back at her house, killing Korean Loki, and of course finding out her fine uncle faked his death. These events would do a number on anyone! She’s a tough girl. I can’t wait to see her come into her own!
I’m obsessed with the Zainichi Korean and Japanese characters! It’s a nice touch alongside the Thai and “Western” immigrants. The nature of the plot is global, so it’s fun seeing regional representation. J is everything! I want to know more about him. He seems like the type raised from an early age to be an assassin, because he rode to the job and completed the job with the joy of a child going to McDonalds for dinner and playing in the PlayPlace. How are you going to shred an aging mercenary boss up while listening to techno, merrily show your face to security, and then be so cute on the phone talking to the branch head (I’m curious how they’re related beyond Japanese nationality) and casually telling her you finished the job and that you miss her??? I can already tell he’s going to be a problem, and I’m here for it. Okada Masaki is perfect for this role! As a J-drama fan, I want to see more Japanese actors to crossover. I can’t wait to see Q and how she fits into all this.
I’ll never understand his career trajectory. I’ve been a fan since “Oh My Venus” first aired. Sung Hoon is talented, charismatic, handsome, and tall. How is he not getting consistent, high quality roles? “Perfect Marriage Revenge” was excellent and he did a wonderful job. I want to see him in a range of roles — villain, cop, doctor, prosecutor, mobster, coach, etc. There’s so much he can do!
Bale is a phenomenal villain. He definitely has nine lives.
Pasin remains to be my favorite character. It’s so good to see him again.💕
Jin Man is a super-soldier. I hope we see a lot of him this season. I’m loving everything he’s doing. I find him fascinating. They did a good job making what happened behind the scenes last season the focal point and weaving in the key scenes we saw to give us a more complete picture.
The soundtrack is fantastic! It’s not your typical sound for a kdrama. I’m loving the electronic beats. Somebody break out the glow sticks!

Exactly. He’s crossed lines into criminal offense territory. I find it especially strange with Gao Zhun’s traumatic history that he wouldn’t get rid of Justin expeditiously.
