Two things can be true. We all have different experiences and perspectives informed by our backgrounds. Your statement is very fair in breaking that down. When I put myself in the shoes of the royal family and Phob, I see both sides and would feel similar emotions in either context. I truly believe that the royals felt they were ruling fairly, but also their classist worldview made it easy to think the current system was fine the way it was because “this is the proper order.” On the flip side, Phob and the lower class suffered from a lack of freedom and access that the nobility exclusively enjoyed. Profit was made off their backs with nothing to spare for them except scraps. Phob had unique opportunities and benefited from his proximity to the royal family, which in their classist view should’ve been lauded as generosity and kindness. However, in a democratic system, he wouldn’t need that proximity to succeed in life and have upward mobility.

I had this drama on hold as others took priority. I’m back for the martial arts, main couple visuals, corruption, family drama, and Naruebal. I’m not expecting a deep story but simply entertainment!

Jim’s American English accent is legit.✨ He speaks with a children’s television cadence (loud and slow), probably because the actor was cast off the street, but this is an improvement from the earlier “Westerner” scenes.😂

Whew! Vichana EXCEEDS the narcissism scale. That man is a devil. He is so easy to hate.😩 The actor playing him is phenomenal!!! I’m really impressed by his portrayal.

Ngl I cackled when Vichana went off on Grandma in English, asking her why she can’t be a normal grandma and go knit or play bingo.😂 I agree! The family is a mess because she’s a demonic matriarch who spawned demons.

Asamiya is so direct! I love it. Who knew poor self-care could be attractive? This drama is cute. JBL is dishing out dramas like hotcakes this year.

Loved the “Rocky Montage” of Ji An leveling up! Welcome home. I understand her need to have that Eat, Pray, Love season of life, but I’m glad she got clarity after being prematurely widowed and came home. It’s always fun seeing tough chicks train and kick ass!

Speaking of widows, what a beautiful funeral for my late fictional husband, J.💐🥲 Thank you for all the wreaths, flowers, casseroles, and condolences. It’s been a difficult time. Please keep Q in your prayers. He was her built-in best friend.🤧 I will be filing a wrongful death suit against Babylon and Kusanagi.

I love the martial arts universe and rivalries, but the new coach was nuts and I hated how they made the Ting Siblings both crash out in psychosis over their un requited loves when they are the top of their sport. The mystery surrounding Ruo Bai’s disappearance was uncalled for and annoying. Still, this season remains a guilty pleasure, and I’ve rewatched it at times lol.

I need time to speed forward, so I can see what’s next for my girlies, Min Hye and Q. That was an epic fight last week. Q will NOT rest! May everything Kusanagi did to others be done to her. #NeverForget #Justice4MyMenz

It’s the Ji An Multiverse! We get to see what her life would’ve been like if she didn’t grow up in a mercenary household and was just a girl lol.

This time about 2/3 of his skull was blown off by an explosive Jin Man deployed, so I’d venture to say this cat lived his ninth and final life. If he comes back with the missing eye and now a steel plate for a skull, I’m calling foul.😂

Personally, I’d say it’s even better, and season one was fantastic.

FL’s portrayal reminds me of Park Bo Young’s Bong Soon.🥰 She’s bubbly and funny! I hope FL winds up with the boss.
