I appreciate that too. In the Japanese drama industry in general, the actors tend to have a natural look and any work done is fairly conservative for the most part!

The ending didn’t land hard enough for me. Sunny got off way too easily. He gets to skate off into the sunset as a debt-ridden live cam girl???? He killed somebody and trafficked people. I wish he was exposed and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Revenge on him was the main goal, but really, Jay’s revenge achieved full completion. In hindsight, Jay’s plot was stronger and should’ve been the main focus with Sun’s as a subplot in the greater whole. I find Jay was the more compelling character as well. Sun was a bit bland.

I’ll miss Jay’s crazy self. 😂 His quirks were fascinating.

Agreed! Shu is Togawa x 20. Togawa was a slow unraveling, but Shu went straight for the “kill.”😂

They’re so cute! I like the dog and cat element between them. This is opposites attract done well. The buildup from the foundation they’re laying should play out seamlessly!

Bravo! I screamed at the end lol. The writing of this series was quite beautiful and well-executed. It was intense, thrilling, sweet, and heartbreaking. The leads made a wonderful pairing. I believed them!

I love how Great looks at them with that smug grin like, 😏“Ya’ll like my cooking, huh?”
