It truly was lmao. I hope the members talk about it because his duality is insane. They're actually having a group comeback next year and a fan meet later this month, I've been waiting 2 almost 3 YEARS!!! Well yeah, definitely check out his music, it's AMAZING, he's actually one of K-pop's best vocalists (him and 2 other members of the group are notably the best), perfect riffs and runs. *btw all the members are actors, some more than others*

YES, everytime I'd scroll thrugh my feed I'd always see clips of the reality show and I just HAD to watch it. I'm Mexican myself so it was nice to see them all interact and act poor in Mexico to complete their mission. The tacos episode with D.O. all googly eyed because he loved them so much.
I actually thought the same as you about Kwangsoo because I'd seen him in a lot of like programs where he's a host, but I didn't think he was an actor as well, but ATP everyone in Korea can do everything.

Yes, they all did a fantastic job, despite what the haters might say.

Yes, Kyungsoo is a really sweet person, like I never would have expected, being a fan of his and EXO's for 10 years and seeing him throughout the years, that'd he ever play a villain role, especially one this like...crazy. He's grown so much as an actor, and the limit's the sky with him honestly. He's super talented outside of acting and music, and though, once more, there's room for improvement, he's amazing. I'm so very proud of him as an EXO-L and someone who has come to love seeing him grow in the acting world.

Have you seen to reality show of him in Mexico with Kwangsoo? (The One who plays Do Gyeong) it was hilarious, they were so freaking cute dude, like I just kept questioning it... "THAT'S THE VILLAIN?!" His acting even left me so in SHOCK I couldn't look at him the same anymore when watching his solo concert performances and group performances, like even I was terrified.

Dude, it's his first villain role lmao. He's expressed how hard he's been working to do well in the role and honestly Kyungsoo did amazing .. Even behind the scenes the actors endlessly complimentedhim and feared him at some point lol. There's room for criticism and growth but he did amazing for his first villain role, and I've seen his acting in all of his dramas and he's a super talented idol-actor.

And maybe this drama just ain't meant for you, we don't need your uneccessary commentary because personally and…
You're still missing the point. You're asking for procedural realism from a revenge-thriller about a character who SCULPTS incidents, the show tells you in the premise that the villain is an absurdly powerful mastermind. "You can't massacre dozens of people... and hope to buy everyone to cover this up." But that's literally what the show's entire premise is about, lmfao. Yo Han isn't a 'serial murder hobo'. he's a high-tech psychopath running a shadow enterprise for the chaebol and politicians. The money and influence to cover up crimes and make people 'disappear' is the entire threat of the drama😭You’re complaining the villain is powerful in a drama designed to show the crushing power of the elite. If he was easily caught, there'd be no show and no tension. Duh.
And you liked the beginning? Great, I don't disagree, the beginning was definitely more "realistic" and honestly could be relatable and resonate with people. it make us want and lead to the crazy revenge part. You don't have Ji Chang Wook suffer that much just so he can have a polite legal fight. The show literally had to go max-thriller to give us the what we were promised.
Also, you mentioned the Squid Game villain? Okay, that guy was literally a bored millionaire who invented a deadly, massive game because he was rich and bored LMAO. How is that realistic? Yo Han is cold, calculated, and manipulative which that's what makes him terrifying. He's not running around screaming and shi, he's quietly destroying people's lives using tech and cash. plus it's D.O.'s first villain role, I think he deserves every bit of praise for it, his duality is insane even Chang Wook behind the scenes mentioned he was scared.
and maybe you just prefer the slow burn doesn't make the epic finale a 'dumb circus.' Maybe just drop the show, because itsounds like you just stopped liking the vibe when it did exactly what thrillers are supposed to do: get intense and unbelievable.🤷🏽‍♀

And maybe this drama just ain't meant for you, we don't need your uneccessary commentary because personally and very obviously most of the audience LOVES it and the show is thriving well, let that be because of the actors and idols involved, or their acting skill s and story. For me it's both.

Just drop the show 🤷🏽‍♀

Who said a thriller drama HAD to be realistic lmfao? Many thrillers have always incorporated science fiction elements with the villain almost always being an overwhelming threat to the "hero".
and calling this a 'dumb makjang circus' is peak small-brain commentary. u completely missed the structural point of the show lol.

The realism wasn't supposed to last! The whole point of spending the first few episodes showing the 'raw and haunting realism' of Tae Jung's torment in prison was to give the audience a full, justified, raging hunger for impossible vengeance.

You literally have a villain, An Yo Han, who is like a cold-blooded, calculated psychopath who runs an elite security business and treats framing innocent people as his art form ...He's a sculptor who creates like chaotic shit, I assume as like trophies for successfully framing them or wtv.

The moment he escapes prison, the genre has to shift to over-the-top, unbelievable revenge action to feel cathartic. The 'makjang' moments aren't a bad thing; they are the reward for sitting through what makes the show REALISTIC; suffering and a corrupted government where money buys you freedom and shit..

The episode's were insane. I'm curious how the last two episodes will end, genuinely. PLEASE DON'T HARM MY GUY YONGSIK AND MY GIRL EUNBI BRO (she is so GL coded). And Kwangsoo's acting really like surprised me in these episodes, wow. And D.O.'s character being a perfect psycho and maniac. And ofc, Changwook amazing as always.

I love you D.O. but I'm praying for Yohan's downfall😭

Yeah, opinions are really split on this one. Not everyone’s gonna like the same things, but it’s cool that…
There's just people hating on it because they think people who love the show are only glazing it for Kyungsoo, it's literally a good ahh show, but like you said, ignore the haters, the actors did phenomenal work and the story is great from what I've seen.
On The Manipulated Nov 25, 2025
Obviously, I started this drama for Kyungsoo and to finally see him playing a villain for the first time, bro, I HATE HOW GOOD HE IS AT HIS ROLE, I'VE LITERALLY CONVERTED TO TEAM TAEJUNG BECAUSE BRO'S AN A-HOLE AND MANIAC IN THE SHOW! I am so excited to see the rest of this drama, THE LOW RATING IS DIABOLICAL AND CRIMINAL, I KNOW Y'ALL LYING BECAUSE TS IS GOOD, ESPECIALLY FOR SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T TYPICALLY REACH OUT INTO THESE CRIMINAL AND VIOLENT DRAMAS.
Anyway, I'm barely on episode 5 and I hope this doesn't disappoint as I continue, but it's Doh Kyungsoo, THE D.O., AND Changwook so I'm not expecting that to happen.

IF YOU'RE THINKING OF WATCHING THIS, WATCH IT!!!!!!

Don't y'all hate when the trailer for a series is better than the actual series?😭
Obviously the trailer was released months ago and I watched the trailer and this series was one of my most anticipated with the trailer alone, especially after "Century of Love" where I got introduced to this couple.
First of all, some of the plots and scenes in the trailer should've been integrated into the series, but they probably made some changes and made it so BAD.
I just started the drama yesterday, and I already caught up lmfao, YES, waiting for episode 10. It was good, it's still WATCHABLE simply because the actors weren't the problem. ALSO, WHY TF HAVEN'T JET AND PARK KISSED LMFAO?!! I KNOW PARK WANTS THAT MAN, I SHIPPED THEM FROM THE MOMENT I SAW THEM! LIKE BRO WAS BY JET'S SIDE WHEN HE COULD'VE LEFT HIM AND LIVED A BETTER LIFE BUT HE CARES SO MUCH ABOUT HE, EVEN STOPPING HIM FROM DRUGGING HIMSELF AND SACRIFICING HIMSELF TO KILL PHEEM JUST TO SEE HIM HAPPY- LIKE LIL BRO, DO BETTER!

Also, I can see why people are complaining about Jet's "over-the-top" acting, he was doing a bit much, but he's still a good actor, his facial expressions and stuff, like they're so raw and powerful.

BUT THE PLOT WAS SO BAD BRO. THIS SERIES HAD SO MUCH POTENTIALLLLLLL AND IT HURTS MEEEEEEE!

AND IF I WAS FREAKING THAN, NO I WOULD NOT FREAKING GET BACK TOGETHER WITH PHEEM, LIKE ABSOLUTELY NOT. LIKE BRO ACTUALLY HAD THE GUTS TO TRY AND KILL HIM BECAUSE OF HIS AMBITION AND MANIPULATED AND LIED TO HIM THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRETY OF THE SERIES, LIKE HELLO?!!! AND THE WHOLE WEDDING THING MADE NO SENSE. LIKE ISN'T THERE AN ENTIRE HEIST GOING ON RIGHT NOW TO CATCH PHEEM FOR ALLEGED MURDER?! (obviously he didn't kill the dad but he's accused) LIKE HOW IS THE LAW GIVING YOU MARRIAGE AT A TIME LIKE THIS?! AND HOW ARE Y'ALL SO HAPPY WITHOUT A CARE IN THE WORLD? ALSO MARRIAGES AIN'T THAT SIMPLE. I'M SINGLE ASF BUT SHOULDN'T THERE BE LIKE AN ENTIRE LEGAL PROCESS AND SHI?! It's not just "oh lets get married babe" and the next day suddenly they're married.

Anyway, other than the unlogical things that happened, this series is still good, I'm just disappointed because I hadn't watched any BL's for like 8 months already and I dropped "Shine" to watch this one because I was so excited and I was lwk disappointed asf.

Anyway, 6/10, the acting and chemistry between the leads saved this series. PLEASE LET PARK AND JET GET TOGETHER AT LEAST FOR 1 MINUTE BEFORE HE DIES🙏🏽

No, it does not have the same vibe nor as good as J&J plot wise & in terms of acting. To be fair, it's their first…
I wasn't expecting it to be as good as Jack & Joker. I was just expecting something good based off the good rating, and I just finished Jack & Joker so I want to watch a good show afterwards before I leave for vacation.
I think you misunderstood me because I compared them a bit, I thought they would be kinda similar because debt issues are involved. I know not identical or THAT similar, but some comparable features or plot.

Help. MLD shows there's a cut and uncut version, but the links go to the same place. Is there not an uncut version?…
There was not really anything crazy in terms of explicit scenes. Just simple kissing and cuddling, and throwing each other back and forth lmao.
I think they're the same thing though.

You're so real for that though, I love watching them because it shows how comfortable the couple is with e/o and makes you love them more.
On Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart! Jun 9, 2025
Alright, I just finished this series (well, I'm waiting for the last line of the episode to stop loading "Is this") LIKE IS THIS WHAT?!! Nevermind, my screen just turned black because the episode freaking ended.

Y'all, I have so much to say about this series. I stayed up two days in a row 'til 5 AM binging this. At first, I wasn't sure, because when I watched a previous series with them, Love Mechanics, it was lackluster and just repetitive. They were good actors, of course – that's what everyone loves about them – but they give them such awful storylines and plots.

So yeah, I was unsure whether to watch this, but the first episode was enough to hook me in.

I think because I started loving War so much after he hung out with Suho from EXO (I liked him already because he reminded me so much of Baekhyun!), and like I said, he's a wonderful actor who can portray any emotion and just connect with the viewers.

So here's what I think of this series. First off, is episode 13 a part of the series or a special episode? I'm assuming a special episode because on this platform they're seperated, but on my streaming platform they put all 13 episodes together.
Okay, enough of that.
TO BEGIN, WHY THE HECK WAS HOPE (PEE) BEATEN UP EVERY EPISODE?! LIKE WHAT IS WRONG WITH Y'ALL?! EVERYTIME HE HAD SCREENTIME, IT WASN'T FOR A CUTE MOMENT WITH SAVE (I THINK THAT WAS HIS NAME), IT WAS TO SHOW HOW HE WAS BEATEN UP!
Okay, that was a problem I had with this series. They didn't focus enough on the other existing couples or those that were yet to be.
Additionally, I felt the series didn’t do justice to the other existing couples or the potential relationships that were hinted at but never fully developed. There was so much opportunity for growth and connection that was sidelined for the sake of the main plot that was so predictable in many circumstances.
However, once again praising the main leads, their chemistry is actually super good, and that's what kept me watching. You can feel the push and pull between them, how they slowly go from reluctant partners to totally smitten lovers. There are genuinely sweet and soft moments that really hit hard because you've seen them go through so much craziness together. It just shows how great the actors are that they can make even the wildest stuff feel real and emotional.

However, the whole plot with Joker's family and their weird inheritance games often just felt like an excuse to create crazy situations instead of a real story. It's not about things making sense, it's more about throwing two people into a blender and seeing if they fall in love. For me, Jack and Joker's charm totally made up for the confusing plot. They really made the show worth watching, even when the story made no sense.
And again, It felt like the writers had so many cool ideas for other characters and their relationships, but then they just... ignored them. It's super annoying when you see hints of good chemistry or interesting backstories, only for them to get pushed aside for more of the main story, or even worse, just showing Hope getting hurt over and over lmfao.

So based off the ending scene during the special episode, they might either abandon the series and just leave the viewers curious, or they might have a possible season 2? Which I'm here for!
Anyways this was a great watch, I actually thought Joke had died, and the subtitles for the special episode were SO BAD, like oh my Lord. I can't even speak Thai but I know those translations were wrong asl.
The subttitles for the other episodes seemed okay and reliable, probably some mistakes here and there, but the SPECIAL EPISODE WAS JUST AWFUL.
Anywho, I liked this. I had given it a 10/10 first three episodes but as it progressed it kinda lowered the standards and expectations for me a bit.

BTW, the other actors were fine asl, the main people anyways. Like Yin is so freaking hot. At first I didn't really care too much about him but his charisma on camera, WHEW-
And War was just born to act, he's really good.
Anyways, I recommend this series, evem if it's kind of recycled and just threw some amazing actors who deserve better. 8.5/10 for me!

Ok I got a nether question what do you guys think about Willy role
He's annoying imo. Just an unnecessary side character. But people like him so I guess I can handle his presence. I hope he plays a more interesting character in later episodes. So far he's just a nuisance.
