It was enjoyable but not the best in my opinion. I also rate based on personal feelings and things I think that are somewhat objectively good or bad. And honestly there's no way I could rate this an 8. I was debating between a 7 or a 6 but ultimately settled on a 6 since I didn't enjoy it as much as the others. So I basically think ratings are highly subjective and not everyone would consider the same ratings as good or bad. Because honestly an 8 would be way to generous for this drama imo (even though I enjoyed it).

If I'm being honest I don't think you can compare Recipe For Love with See You At Work Tomorrow since they aren't the same type of dramas and in a way different genres as well. RFL is a drama with 50 episodes and those are in my opinion more like your regular soaps. They're also more likely to be a comedy family type of drama than a romance one like SYAWT. So I personally wouldn't compare those two as they're different genres/types of dramas to me.

CTLBT is a good comparison imo. I personally do prefer and like See You at Work Tomorrow so much more than Can This Love Be Translated. But that's mainly because I don't think the Hong sisters can create great dramas (great ideas, overall plotline) but they always mess up for me personally. I sadly haven't loved Go Youn Jung as a leading lady yet. I think she's actually better as a supporting actress than a leading one.

Huh??? That's one of the genre that Netflix heavily invests in. We got like Sweet Home, Gyeongseong Creature, All of Us Are Dead, Parasyte: The Grey (even though that's more science fiction), Kingdom, Cashero, The Wonderfools etcera. The last two are definitely on the more fluffy side compared to others.

I don't know if I'm actually going to watch the second season since Lee Jung Ha isn't in it. For me personally he was like the star and the heart of the show. He was the biggest reason why I was enjoying it. I kinda lost all my excitement for the second season. I do wish the new actor all the luck (as this unfortunate situation isn't his fault at all!)

I might be a minority but the one I'm loving the most is Perfect Crown. I haven't started Filing For Love yet, but that one could be another one that I'll adore. Otherwise all of the other current aring dramas are just okay to me. Entertaining but I'm not in love with them.

This made me check out the screenwriter and honestly WHO HURT THEM. This is like their third romance that's this melancholy, sad but beautiful with a tiny dose of healing.

I actually struggled a lot with Hotel Del Luna (but that's due to my issues with the Hong sisters and their dramas). This one is a lot more similar to Hotel Del Luna compared to some of her other kdramas. But I'm honestly loving this. The first two episodes were a bit rough, but by the third one I completely turned around and fell for the story.

I personally find that this drama is very funny but it also contains a lot of darker, heavy or moody themes. But that doesn't actually make the overall drama feel very dark or heavy. It's actually such a fun and light watch while also tackling serious topics (but in a more lighthearted way, but not toooo lighthearted). If that makes sense haha.

I don't think that Netflix is necessarily trying to copy moving or necessarily following the moving trend. If that was the case we would have gotten a superhero drama from Netflix a lot sooner. Cashero was also an adaptation of a 2015 webtoon (the same year Moving's webtoon came out). Besides, The Wonderfools has been in development since 2018 (originally scheduled for a 2021 release but they completely revamped the whole project) so the full scale production of the wonderfools started in 2024.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a cdrama that is similar to this one ? (especially coming from someone that has commitment issues with cdramas)

I usually adore dramas set in a small town or village, but this one isn't doing much for me yet. Hopefully that will change soon.

I thought this was going to be a cute, fluffy, wholesome but awkward love story. This was not that. Very realistic and I'm actually really glad that they did not end up together. I felt like they were two very incompatible people. He had communication issues, trouble with opening up, and was more reserved. While she was a bit immature, demanding and bit selfish (which honestly made me sad since I did enjoy her character in the beginning but I didn't like how she acted in their relationship a lot times). He definitely wasn't perfect too, he as well had many flaws and could be a very frustrating person to date. Basically two incompatible people and not even due to cultural differences (in my opinion).

Do you have something against women or something? Because there are numerous kdramas where the guy sleeps around while the girl is still hung up on him. Go away with these weird double standards. Drop the drama if it's bothering you this much and move on with your life.

I wouldn't call him a red flag personally, just a big asshole😂 I do think some of his emotions are very understandable. Immature and unprofessional? Totally, but understandable too.
