I will have to respectfully disagree with you in one point: the actor being an extremely famous and popular one shouldn't impact in how everything revolves around his character, when they haven't sold the story that way:
Sure, one thing is that the producers said "hey, let's change the story so Yang Yang's character is the main lead and FL is just a supporting character", because they thought it would be more successful.
But the problem is they have shown us in every promo, the trailer, the synopsis of the show, etc that FL is just as important as ML.
They even kept all the "BFX and HFX are the greatest martial artists, they are equals, they have fought for years but they can't defeat the other". So, I personally feel a little cheated and I think it is understandable if we want to see more of BFX, and not because of the books.
For example, in Princess WeiYoung they change almost all the story in the show (to the point of changing ML lol) but they put the character who had so much importance in the books as a mere supporting character, they didn't "cheat"
And I hope you are right and we see HCR and FXY arch soon!

His father knew what his queen is doing but he just keeping his eyes and ear shut. How I wish they will go to Xiyun state already.

This should be named “Who Rules Yong Zhou”. Though the political scheming to be the heir of Yong Zhou is well written, its repeatative and taking too long. Previews show they would still continue about this fight to be the heir shenanigan until more than half of the drama. What happened to the “World” part? I get that Wu Yuan is now the super villain, but how is this arc going to move forward? What is happening in Prince Hao’s side of the world? FL feels like a side character that the ML needs for character development. This is still
my best wuxia drama of 2022 but I’m disappointed that its focusing more on the ML’s family issues or political drama. I wanna see how the gentries outwit each other to get what they want instead of the queen, king and princes and their disfuctional family.

Same. It was okay in the beginning but now it is just repetitive and the how they try to plot against the ML is quite silly... don't think you need to be clever to counter them. I just multitask whenever the politics are playing which is a huge part atm.

The entire palace scheming is so silly for a guy like ML. It’s like the starters you order. I wish they get done with this soon. I am more eagerly waiting for the main dish i.e Yu wu yan vs ML. Two worthy opponents and it’s mouth watering to think about it

I really prefer Yang Yang's Hei Feng Xi hairstyle with the side bangs, than the bun he wears as Feng Lang Xi.

Though the political shenanigans of ML’s family is quite good, I’m starting to get tired of it. Based on the previews they would continue until Ep 24, that’s more than half of the series already. I want to see more of the evil sect/ yu wuan arc and the FL’s background.

I hope the FL has more development later.
They are just focusing on the ML story.

I really like this comment section as compared to other. Other comments section are more about criticism & some little talk about main CP while this comment section is very different here guys are talking about drama ,side characters,main characters & every other detail.also people are helping each other to solve their queries .

After love and redemption, there wasn't a single wuxia drama that impressed me as much as this one. I read the novel too just so I could quench my thirst for more episodes and so far I love both novel and drama versions. the changes from the novel are genuine and so original. considering the novel is heavier on politics, there is little romance and to be honest, I didn't really enjoy how easy FL switched her love interests. she fell in love too fast and misunderstood ML too much for all that she knew him over ten years. regardless I loved the novel, but really appreciate the changes in drama. I hope it stays this way until the end.
I wasn't a fan of Zhao Lusi before this drama because most of her previous roles were childish, but now I realized it was just the role they gave her and she really can act. I really enjoy her character and acting here and as always Yang Yang is great.

HFX and BFX's romance is right up my alley.
Both know each other already right from the get-go.
Has a friendly rivalry.
They acknowledge each other.
Both are strong and clever.
And the subtlety of their romance that is slowly blossoming along the way. Their love isn't about forcing the pieces to fit together, it's about falling into something that fits naturally.
They're yin and yang ❣❣❣

I only like to watch dramas that are interesting and worth the time and WRTW is becoming the top of my list!

Sword Snow Stride was definitely more story driven than love. It had a bit of a that in it, but it wasn't in your face and I loved SSS and I usually am a more romantic story driven, I was so impressed with SSS. I will be going back and watching it again soon.
