my last modern finished drama is perfect and casual too 😍😍, a long time now. since i love historical drama more. i started "Dating in the kitchen " yesterday a modern drama and let me tell you that i am enjoying it , too funny , chemistry on point . very expressive both ML and FL
I wish to see Yang Yang and Zhao Lusi work together again in Modern drama. And I want them both rich, smart, stylish,…
Then both Yang Yang and Zhao Lu Si need to stay away from CEO romance type of drama because Chinese CEO romance modern dramas usually using "a rich and cold man meet a poor and dumb woman" trope LOL
I only watch three of Yang Yang dramas: -Love O2O (2016) with Zheng Shuang -You Are My Glory (2021) with Dilraba Dilmurat and now Who Rules The World (2022) with Zhao Lu Si
I don't know about characters of the main female leads in his other dramas but even all these his dramas that I watch have this kind of same where he is "a cool and smart" character, his main female lead characters are smart and cool too just like Zhao Lu Si's character in this drama.
If they reunite in another drama, I hope they will choose a good script and not just any script because some main female lead in Chinese dramas are so annoying that they make me want to knock some sense into their screenwriter and PD LOL
I started watching on Netflix.. wow it’s an amazing experience…. That can not describe.. the visuals are amazing..better eng subs…looks amazing on big screen
under pics I added Lusi pics… it’s a screenshot I took it.. can any one have that image? I am looking for high quality one…
Came for Zhao Lusi after being up to date with the last episode of WRTW and fell in love with Liu Yu Ning's acting. Their chemistry and story was what made me watch the drama in the first place but also what kept me watching it. I liked Changge's "journey", the first main couple but I adored Hao Du & Le Yan. 😍 I wish they had more screen time but it's understandable. I loved how their relationship progressed and how much each character developed. It's incredible how much emotion can Liu Yu Ning express with just his eyes. I rarely cry or get emotional watching dramas but his character got me crying again and again, feeling happy, sad, angry, pissed off & all the emotions he felt, I felt. An unpopular opinion, but his character was by far my favourite character. Watching this just for HaoYan was already very satisfying. The main couple Changge and Sun, also did a great job in their acting, their story was good but there were moments were it lost me and it felt draggy and I might have probably dropped it midway without HaoYan, my personal opinion, no offence to anyone who felt otherwise. 😁 All in all, worth the watch, I'll rewatch this in few months after I (hopefully) forget some of the story, tho I'll probably rewatch just HaoYan moments 😬
Here's a hint: watch a few episodes then decide. Though none of the trailers I saw, showed any of that. So not…
Perhaps you should take your own advice and get over it. What does the OP's comment and my very neutral one in response to them have to do with you? A nasty comment was posted and reported and/or deleted. They happen and ppl will respond to them. No one is crying, that's really over dramatic. Maybe this user will listen to me and maybe they won't; that's up to them, not you.
I'm very picky with dramas so I was surprised by WRTW's plot. Palace politics is my most favorite genre and so far, I really like the build up and tension in the palace.
I heard that the palace drama is not in the novel so I'm thankful to whoever wrote the arc. It has been a long time since I last watch a well-written politic since Nirvana in Fire. And the slowburn romance! Ong chef's kiss!
While I wish we can have longer court drama, I understand we need to start focusing on the FL's backstory. I hope this good writing will stay til the 40th episode 🤞 really need that good story and character development. Wishing it will become more complex soon!
Did anyone notice that after they all escaped the SoulTakers sect at Mt Wu, Prince HC got his priorities straight. After the fight, he invited everyone to eat. 😂 He and BFX are both foodies! 😂😂😂
Agree girl ..those first episodes are my fav...in recent episodes they are messing her eyebrows a lot...i want…
Thats true...as you said I like those costumes better than the recent ones..the fitting was so good..the new ones are really faded and looks so dull...
