this show is very well rounded. the story is rich with details and suspense, keeping us hooked into both the Wu…
Overall I like this drama. The only minor complaints I have is the pacing, too much focus on the Yongzhou state, and mediocre fight choreography and lack of action/ fight scenes for a wuxia.

This is my first time watching Zhao Lu Si actually have fighting skills in a movie and she did an awesome job! Both leads offer such a spicy flavor to their roles and I love it! I'm so glad Netflix picked up this series.
I did the same thing to hubby but he gave up after 2 episodes. He said he doesn’t like the romance part, why…
I enjoyed business proposal! Although the ending fell flat for me, I will still recommend it, I became an instant fan of the FL😊 Have you seen Mr. Queen? It’s comedy, romance with politics too and a bit of fighting scenes but it’s a period drama. It’s funny, not really romantic. Seol Inah is a cast there too.

This is what I love while watching an ongoing series that I really like, first, in every episode (well at least for me) I don't have to skip parts cause I would value the time more since it's still airing, instead of skipping to go to next episode to know the next move, it gives an exciting feeling and would make me focus to more details and even repeat a single episode again and while waiting for the release of the next episode, this is especially fun if the scenes are fun and interesting that required more attention to detail but this is a pain when the scene is all sad and a heartache but its still fun its the essence of ongoing ahahahhahaha torture for sad scenes and joy for happy scenes ahahahahahhaah
I convinced my hubby to try to watch this, the last period drama he saw was Jumong and he only watch kdrama and american series. He is now at episode 19 and sending me screenshots😄
Great drama bingy worthy like the way it flows not to much romance when it is its extra sweet. I love the chemistery with leads and martial arts zhao lusi Queen of acting and her martial arts scenes impressive👏
I'm a bit disappointed by this drama. It had a lot of potential, but it's really going nowhere. I'll finish until episode 40. But, realistically, it's a 7/10 for me. Nothing special about it, apart from the fact that two megastars lead it and it has an awesome supporting cast.
You're free to love and enjoy this drama. It has an excellent OST and pretty nice production quality. But, the story's pacing is off. The acting is off. The plot is meh. The bantering between the leads is sometimes spicy, and other times very cringe.
The drama focuses way too much on the male lead, who isn't as interesting as the female lead. She, unfortunately, just follows him around the drama, as if she's a supporting cast member.
The development between these two characters is way too slow, in my opinion, for a 40-episode drama. It's a slow burn, but not an enjoyable one for various reasons.
I think it's worth watching if you love supporting the actors in the cast (since a lot of them are amazing), and enjoy big-budget productions, but don't expect anything else from it.
