Overexposure does have its pros and cons. I think she's just making the most out of the opportunities given to her. I might do the same given the same situation.. Knowing how c-ent business could be. How they can easily cancel an actor and such. Atleast she's serving us a lot of variety as opposed to having the same dish all the time.😉

yep! definitely happy to see her exploring different roles and step away from the goofy innocent girl roles since WRTW and LLTG shows how versatile she is. Just looking at her listed works you can already see how her dramas rank, no matter they have low budget or bad script, even Please Feel At Ease was announced to have raked in profit for platform. Just hope she doesn't burn herself out , crazy girl works hard .

The was rating of her popularity, and she was the most popular during TROTAR, Dating in the kitchen and LLTG. She got her role in WRTW before Long Ballad aired (she got this role because of success of TROTAR and DITK) . Also in 2021 the most watched internationaly Tencent drama was Lusi very low budget "A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College" it had more views then Long Ballad ☺️

True. Since she started taking a serious role (ie TLB) I think that was when people saw that she can actually do other things aside from the usual romcom. I loved her in romcoms for sure but it's great that she's branching out and trying other things. It's just amazing how varied her dramas are now. I wish she'd take a republican one again where she's just the main FL and it includes spy/suspense kinda stuff. 😁

Yes, I love how she choose so many different kind stories now)) previously she didn't has to more choice and opportunity. But still it she was who choose TROTAR and TLB even when her company didn't want she took that roles. So I trust her decision, even if her drama will not has big success, she will not someone who only choose same roles and strong romance stories to gain popularity 😅

Agree! Great points sis. I actually find it very interesting that she has tried different things.. Republican, school, medical drama. Hope it all goes well and we can actually see her range as an actress. This is why I think a xanxia drama for her is definitely in her future because based on the track record.. She is constantly challenging herself. But to be fair, Rosy did say in an interview that she didn't want to put pressure on herself based on people's opinions and would rather work for her growth and passion. Not those exact words but that is how I understood it anyway. 😅✌️

Also how Hu Tong can be bad decision, when it will air in national TV in prime time, she can be seen and recognize more by general public. Houlang script was made 7-8 years, it's not some B level drama with a lot fan service, but it has very well known professional senior actors .
