At this point, I agree with you. In the beginning, I really liked this drama but the problem is with GNT's one-dimensional personality has become pretty static.
I thought he would change midway, at least a little.

Yes, GNT is very nice looking and CX is also very pretty but a series needs more than that to advance at a normal level, not having 34-45 episodes of the same and finally a resolution.

I think some of the problems with this series, as much as I like the two main actors is that GNT is too one-dimensional. He has no highs and has no highs and no lows.
And CX doesn't ask enough questions to find out what GNT is all about.
That does not make an interesting part.

I think the romance is coming too late. I would have preferred it to come around ep 25 or less and then have the CPL as co-pilots.

We might have to wait for 6 more episodes I understand. That is almost till the end.

I've been watching the behind-the-scenes on YT and contrasting to the way their roles are, it is funny. They laugh, they joke around, and it is so nice to watch the scenes.

What episode do you think that GMT and CX will finally get together?

I was thinking that there should be an interview with the actors.

I think it was in ep 28 but not sure. It was a definite friend-zoned. She would not make definite plans with him in the future. That information needs to be passed on to GNT.

Judging from the conversation GNT had with his EX, he essentially admits how he feels about CX (ep 27)

He says he has no one to talk with about how he feels. He seems very lonely all the time.

I rewatched ep 28, but I watched one segment where GNT was writing to his ex but I didn't see where he was admitting to liking CX.

Is there only one scene were GNT was writing to his ex?

But now, NZ is sort of out of the picture and so is Yuheng. So the fact that CX "friended" NZ should become clear to GNT so there are no more obstacles in his way.

A burst out of GNT - that would be wonderful. We only have a few more episodes left - about 10. Something soon should happen hopefully.
