Yes, I don't understand CX's behavior toward NZ. Because of how GNT told her that he didn't have any affection towards her made her mad and is now inclined to be friends with NZ. Publicly she has shown some friendship with NZ but privately, her heart is with GNT, wholly.

I think you got Jiang's strategy correct. Let the 2 men go after each other because of their weakness for CX and he can take care of CX just by taking care of the two men fighting over CX.
The problem is that GNT knows Jiang well but NZ doesn't and he wants that job too. That is why GNT showed up at Jiang's dinner to protect CX while NZ was actually drunk and not able to see what is going on.
Basically GNT is a very good man, stiff as a board but a good man. He needs to melt a bit.

Why do you think that NZ said to GNT "You are trying to give CX to me?" How did he assume that? I know NZ was drunk but he had to have a reason for saying that.

Now that is a very good point. She could ask NZ about GNT's past but she doesn't seem to inquire about GNT's past. There are other people who could help her.

GNT needs help. I hope his mom, who finally discovered that CX was living in her apartment does the right thing and I hope CX's father can set GNT straight since no one else seems to be able to do it.

You are right - that is why he is co-piloting with her as part of the final decision. However, he really did jump the gun, even after she expressed how she felt.
At this point, CX is still centered, GNT is definitely not and neither is NZ. Both men are losing it.
I think it will take another 4 episodes to see some light.
Although at the Jiang dinner in preview, protective GNT and drunk NZ did get feisty.
