There are a lot of comments/contraversy on MDL about the writer Ubukata Miku of Silent. That she didn't want the series translated because she felt that the words she wrote would not be translated correctly etc.
Can someone send me the article where she made those comments? Thank you.
finally someone also mention the movie Burning , that movie totally left me dumbfounded
Yoo Ah In is probably the best K actor there is. He is selective in what he plays in and Burning was A+. One needs patience in watching it, however. The ending is stupendous.
So well said! I couldn't have said it better. Now waiting for the last episode. Hope happy ending. Thank you!
1) 2) both are strong possibilities - but we are watching J-dramas - which are usually more direct (Imo) So she finds out why he is so cold to her and both walk toward the sunset, holding hands and maybe a kiss or two. I don't know - but we have to wait days to see what happens. It is really an intriguing series.

Me too! Sometimes it is better to stretch it out than to cut it prematurely. I love this series a lot. At least we don't have to watch a cast of 1000's - just a few cast members. All important.
Yep, that is a really good idea, especially with Silent's episodes that are available so far in between. I'll try to adopt your idea - movies are good too, they come all at once :-)
Correct me if I'm wrong, is the exterior of the house shown in the show the same as in The Heirs.? It seems really…
Silent (a Japanese drama on Viki) is very good and so is Summer Strike on Viki. Both are slow but worth watching. I like Curtain Call a lot - it is fun to watch.
Well, I watched the entire movie. It wasn't easy for me to understand it thoroughly. I probably will have to watch it again. Nominated for the Golden Globe Awards for 2023. I can see why but it was nominated. Beautiful cinematography, OST, excellent acting, and an interesting plot. Pretty convoluted but maybe the second time around won't be as much.
Funny how films like this, Burning, the films of Hong Sang-Soo and other acclaimed ones always have low ratings…
Burning was a masterpiece. MDL watchers didn't appreciate it. Too deep, too different. Maybe a lot of very young watchers may change the ratings. Not their fault,
Both the male cousin and nephew are annoying me already, FL is overacting and she looks like a high sch student…
I've watched it up to ep 5 with subs and the FL is really annoying. Love the ML! Male cousin and nephew are also annoying. I agree, just watching it for the ML.
Pls tell me it's getting better I love the theme and aesthetic but the acting and petty interaction between leads…
I've watched up to ep 5 (6 and 7 still have no subs). Yes, the FL is over the top but the ML is scrumptious! I would continue watching it. It has its sweet parts too and it is a romance for sure. I hope this helps.

I'm curious. Thank you. Where was the scriptwriter's statement made?
