Love movies

I really like this drama. I don't understand why it had so little promo if any. So sad that it is not recognized as a good drama. Love the chemistry between the 2 leads. Quite unusual.

I am watching Young Lady and the Gent for entertainment - not to be taken seriously. It is so campy. So over the top, so soapy, but so funny in a way. Also I like the ML a lot but his choice in dramas seem to be limited. Also I'm waiting for the evil women to get it.

It's nice to watch, not much angst compared to Lie to love. Nice ending too.

I watched up to Ep 28. DanDan's real mom wants DanDan's father to go to America with DanDan and herself. DanDan wants to tell ML everything - (better late than never).

DanDan is an idiot. He's back to sort of believing SaRa.

I can't take this drama seriously, it's a sudsy soap! A melodrama! However, for example, I do take Lie To Love very seriously and that is why it is difficult for me to continue watching it without angst.

If I were you, I would continue watching it, without caring but wait for another 8 episodes are shown and then you can fast forward it and then make up your mind.

Thank you Kele! I try. I have an MDL friend that I correspond with often. We trade back and forth on dramas and movies and what is nice about that is that we can be more open with what we think.

It's been so long that I've have watched Search and I liked most of it and the end made sense but you know, up in the air. Sense of freedom for those 3 women.

You might like Rational. It really is a woman's rights drama with a noona romance on top of it. I'm watching it for the second time, skipping over side stories. (another one of my annoying tropes but sometimes necessary.)

Believe it or not, every time I read articles on MDL, if I like the drama I put it on my watchlist. Well, it has grown out of proportion so I am culling it, painfully.

I'll try to make a list of my most favorites and I'll send it to you here. You may have seen most of them but in case you haven't, you might try one or two.

Yep, since I haven't ever written a review, I need to put my review in some easy readable format. I've read some that are very good and some that have unending paragraphs!

My problem is that I don't understand the language spoken. A lot gets lost in the translation and depending who translates it too. I watch some Italian movies and since I speak the language, the translation is almost a summary.

Well better to have the translation than not, right?!

I agree- I wish the writer could read our posts. I too would love to watch those evil women get punished, especially Sara. That sour, pouty face. Why can't the ML wake up?

Well for the first time, I plan on writing a review. I'm not that great of a writer but I think people need to know. It just sprung out of the blue so to speak.
I agree that too much business especially without real business talk, just gibberish turns people off but this one has some meaningful business.
I wrote my comments on Viki. I think I would, as one person, like to reward this kind of adult conversation instead of rewarding dramas that are filled with tropes, childhood connections, pretend romance, pretend kisses, where one lead goes away for 1 or 2 years or more, or any and all of these quick and cheap writing tricks.

On the other hand, DramaTime333, it isn't finished yet. Who knows what will happen. I may have spoken too soon. :-)

Ratings may be high in Korea because it is a family show on weekends. Maybe there isn't much to watch during that time :-) Or maybe we are all crazy and love to watch it (I'm included). It's light, it's fun, it's romantic, it's got out of control people in it that people can relate to

It may not make any difference - we would have to be higher in the status poll :-) At least I don't count :-) But we still can protest.

I agree with all your points!
The business part of it didn't make much sense at first but it all hangs together as the episodes progress.
This is not a drama like for example, Hometown chachacha.... no super happy stuff. It is intense, a little bit of angst but not a lot, but one could learn a bit about business by just watching this!
I really like to know how this sleeper was left sleeping?!
It is really sad to me. The two mains are excellent and the lack of tropes is so satisfying.

I think they must have a bad publicity group - even on Viki, the usual complaining suspects are not there. This is a fantastic series - very unusual watching the explosive chemistry between the two main leads. It doesn't make sense. It just popped up on Viki. no warning.
