I like it much better than the Korean version, however there is not much tension - lots of sweet, mushy stuff and such. The problem with the Korean version, it took too much time for the Fl to make up her mind and the end was not very satisfying. Blunt end and I hope this version doesn't follow. Jasper Liu is as excellent as usual. FL's hair style is a bit childish but she is wise too.
It's based on haruki Murakami book which is based on surrealism and or realism..it's not a movie for everyone…
It's been awhile that I've watched it, I think there is a love triangle and he is definitely the ML. It goes partly back to the 30's when Japan had invaded Korea. That historical part was a bit too much but anyway, it was special. Yes, there is a romcom part of it but mostly the magic of the typewriter and the historical part of it but the romance is not big but it's there! I would watch it for sure.

He is everything you say he is! On Viki.com, watch him on "Secret Love Affair" Wow-wow-eee! The tension was unbearable. The classical music was wonderful. I haven't been able to watch the end because I wanted to see a happy ending so I'm waiting for the guts to watch the end. He's also special in "Chicago Typewriter". Interesting to read about him too.

This movie won all sorts of awards. It is my most favorite movie of all time. However it isn't for the faint heart or one that loves a lot of romance. It stars Yoo Ah In and he is probably one of the best actors around today. (Chicago Typewriter). Take a chance on watching this on Viki.com and you'll either love it to death or hate it. I've watched it 3 times.
The ML in the Korean Fallen For Innocense was outstanding, you just reminded me to watch it over again :-)
I watch both Korean and Chinese. They are really different to me. I'm watching a Chinese drama, I really like in IQ.com called "Love is Sweet" It is adorable but around 45 episodes but I don't skip at all. One of my most favorite K dramas is Flower of Evil. Oh I can go on forever. Being American I used to watch only US movies and now I've left them completely for Asian dramas. Ok, if you are into really strange movies that won all sorts of awards watch "Burning" on Viki. I would say that was my most favorite movie of all time. But it is really, really strange. Look it up. Hope this helps.

Jung Kyung Ho in Falling for Innocence was really perfect. Jung Kyung Ho, the ML was fantastic in it. The whole series kept one on edge, it was romantic, surprising, and a sweet ending. Don't miss it. As I said, I plan now to watch it again. The role was perfect for Jung Kyung Ho, like it was made for him. I've watched him in other series but , really don't miss it.
remakes are usually not as good as originals, but this one is sooo much better than the korean version. loove…
The Korean version took too long for the FL to decide to go with the ML. It dragged and dragged trying to get her brother's and father's permission. However The first episodes were enjoyable. I like this one better for now, let's see if it too gets dragged and dragged. Jasper Liu is one of my most favorites.
I loved the first season - only 6 eps. I even wrote to Netflix but of course no response. Maybe the rest of us should write to them too. The series was really different from others.
I watched the Korean version Clean with Passion Now - I really liked it except it dragged and dragged until the FL got permission to be with the ML. Jasper Liu has always been one of my favorite actors and I like his acting especially here. He is more serious than other roles he's played, FL is pretty and sincere and finally, in Ep 10 she got rid of those awful pig tails. Hope we get Ep 11 soon.
