For me this wasn't that bad and I don't regret watching it. I admit it was too long, so a lot of fast forwarding…
If you like war-like dramas this is the one. I watched this because of Johnny Huang but there was very little of Huang except in war like scenes. I skipped a lot of it, except for the first 2 episodes which where really fun to watch. I would not recommend it unless you like intricate battle scenes. I love every Huang series I watched but this is not one of them. Too much time spent on side characters and not enough on the main leads.
One reason is that the FL had had a miscarriage and had shut him out for some time. I think they needed therapy.…
Thanks Louli, that was probably one of the most depressing series that I have ever watched. Lee Sang Yoon is one of my 3 most favorite actors but he left a really bad trace, even though it was just "acting".
Nah its bad the first review by masked warrior sums it up quite nicely. The thing is the husbands cheat on perfectly…
Watched Episode 8, Season 2 today. It was really soapy. I mean extra soap. However, there was a lot of action in it and I'll watch it next week. I'm very disappointed with Sung Hoon's character - I'm so used to his other dramas where he is strong and attractive. Here he plays somewhat a coward, especially with his vicious wife, who slaps him around (hard to watch). Other than his vicious wife, the other wives didn't deserve what they got from their playing husbands. The second season is much better than the first.
Funny, blunt, honest drama. I loved it. loved the reaction between the two ML/FL. Never a dull moment. The ladies' association group was fantastic. Don't miss this one! The side characters are interesting too. Even my husband watched it, and he rarely watches anything I watch.
Just watched it, in one word, fantastic! One of the top 3 K-Dramas I've seen. (Flower of Evil is pretty close) Jo In Sung's handsome and expressive face and perfect acting job brought the drama to life. I felt I was there, not just watching it from a distance. Each actor was perfect, writers were able to bring up the psychological illnesses with care. Also even though the drama is 7 years old, it stood the test of time. Certainly rewatch for sure. I wonder why Jo In Sung has not done any dramas since then. Does anyone know?
@Lovemovies—You can track (and submit) the shooting locations at the drama architectural site, Korean Dramaland:…
Oh my! Thank you so much for your link above. I didn't know the link existed. We hope to visit for the first time S. Korea, China and Taiwan and this link might really help me see some of these places. The Hanok Village in Korea will be the first one. Again, thank you so much. I'm also interested in modern architecture etc. Much appreciated.
I just watched episodes 1-4. I really liked this series. It's on IQ. Jung So Min (from This is my First Life) is really delightful in this series and so is Kim Ji Suk, who plays a very uptight money man. A very different story from other K-dramas. It's about development, housing, and a magazine office environment. Besides I get to see some beautiful Korean architecture. Highly recommend it for now.
The plot is interesting enough to keep me watching and I also like the work place scenarios. Only thing missing…
I agree with you AlexiaD! More noona romance with heat was definitely missing. Lots of unnecessary screen time given to the mother, Needed more screen time of the main couple and less on the other couple, although cute. One comment about Dylan Wang, I thought his facial expressions were really cute. After all he was only in his early 20's (in real, and screen life) not to expect miracles. I thought he did well. Qin Lan did a good convincing job of a noona! She was poised and acted the part. What I objected the most was the hurried ending! Was it my imagination that they ran the episode more fast than normal at the end? If they had spent more time on the main couple they would not have to fast speed the last episode. That was disturbing. Oh well, we can watch the extra 3 episodes on YouTube but with no subtitles. Waah!

However, no English sub, not even Auto-Translate but the videos are really cute.
This is a wonderful series! I watched it twice.
