A very sweet drama with very few tropes, love between two people was especially poignant. Please watch this simple yet exquisite drama, you won't regret it and it will stay with you. Only 10 episodes but there is a special episode at the end which wraps up everything in a sweet package. ML was very handsome; FL was precious, even though their ages were quite far apart.
I've watched up to Ep 12 and I can't find the ep 13,14 previews on IQ. Where did you see them? This is one mystery…
Thank you Vivian! Yes, real LQY should be interesting how V Song plays the double role. I did find a preview on Youtube. Thank you for your answer. We are sure lucky to have MDL!
@Love moviesI SO agree with you!In an earlier post, I agreed with someone who said that Pi Young was a Stepford…
Pi Young was a Stepford wife in many ways. Obedient, looking perfect all the time etc. Almost robotic. In fact, both of them are robotic. Today's Ep 12 was explosive in many ways, psychologically speaking. I've never watched a scene like that. Good point in saying that he may have missed simple, innocent conversations with like those with A MI. Both he and his wife was stilted in many ways.
OMG! Brace yourself - watching VIP. It starts nice but goes down, all the way down towards the end. The last scene with the umbrellas was super depressing. The script is excellent and the actors are superb but very depressing.
Good point - he was too stiff and not much emotion in his conversation with her. Going down in bended knees was…
You know, I was trying to get the right description of him but you nailed it, sociopath. However, he seems to have a pleasant personality but no conscience. 4 more episodes to find out why he had a trauma. I don't think Song Won is a manipulator. However to add to that manipulator list of Yu Shin and his stepmother, is Ah-Mi, a poor thing with a purpose to marry Yu Shin and any cost. Another one with no conscience.

Me too! "Can this man be redeemed?" Sounds very soapy. :-) However, he never seems to change, always remaining the same. Rarely getting mad, rarely seems happy. Nice looking man, however.
VIP did a great job with casting! The actors/actresses matched their roles to a T making the production a lot…
Interesting thought, divorce and then try to rekindle. But are 4 episodes remaining enough to get that done? Maybe season 3? :-) There are other couples to finish up too.

As I said, I think he is a rather emotionless person, satisfying the egos of his step mother, his lover, his wife's mother and his wife herself. What I want to say is he just going through the motions, not being real. What I'm curious is what the writers will do with him: change him to a genuine person, or remain the bastard he is right now. On Ep 12 he told his wife he would give her all of their money but to his lover he told her that he planned on dividing their assets. Is liar the right word? I just don't know. Let's see.
After watching V.I.P. I it's been hard to watch Lee Sang Soon! He is one of my most favorite actors but his portrayal of a total bastard was too much to watch. In that case, there was no reason of reconciliation. I agree, I could go on forever on V.I.P.
But i think he needed to tell her more how he felt about her and showed more love and a softer side! he wasn't…
Good point - he was too stiff and not much emotion in his conversation with her. Going down in bended knees was not convincing. He's kind of an emotionless person, going through life, just responding not doing.
I was thinking the same thing, the memorization of lines between the two was incredible. I wish there were an…
Usually those interviews on are Youtube but don't seem to be there yet. Can you imagine how those two felt after their very tense conversation? I was emotionally exhausted just watching. I understand that Lee Tae Gon came back to acting after 6-7 years. Wonder if there will be a season 3.
Okay characters aside, those 2 actors were phenomenal going back and forth like that. That was nonstop dialog…

You may not agree with me but... One big problem between Yoo Shin and Pi Young was the lack of frank communication. Everything was "perfect", they both looked "perfect", their conversation was always "perfect". There was no reality between them. I'm glad he pointed out to Pi Young how she unfairly treated her mother. I'm glad she pointed out to Yoo Shin how he catered to women all the time. I watched Ep 12, listening to their intense conversation . The both made excellent points but what he did and how he did it was purely wrong and unforgettable but not unforgivable. As people get older (as in the case of Pan Sa Hun parents), things change; people change. (If you want to see an example of an unforgivable husband, watch V.I.P. )
Ep 12 really surprised me and threw many of my earlier theories away. You can't really predict anything with this…
