Thanks! But if you want to see a really nice Chinese drama watch "My Little Happiness". I've watched it twice. Wonderful ending, very few tropes and great acting. And there is even a more mature ending on Youtube. (pretty wow!) On the Oho Ou/Victoria, yes we can only imagine that they will be happy living in the children's art school area. But why didn't they show that? We would have all been happier :-)
Can u tell me about Song Xio Dong,Did she ever loved ML or ml ever did?i wanna know that and are they twins or…
Quin Yi came back, very bitter because of what she went through, captured by 2 bad men. However she still was in the series, went to ail for 4 years etc came out. Long story.

yes, and he goes to jail at the end but the ending is really bad No Qian Yi did no come back to him. Initially, she was going to break up with him anyway before the avalanche. The whole thing is kind of sick :-)
I understand why people are so disappointed with the ending. Breaking up twice? I did not expect that. And in…
Maybe they changed writers at the end :-) Seriously, the last two eps didn't make a lot of sense. Are they looking for Season 2 perhaps? The whole 3 year gap at the end was bad writing. A lot could have been solved in less than 3 years. I think the writers had a case of K-drama amnesia. So unfortunate because the acting was so good, especially from Kim Ji Suk. He is multi talented in roles that he plays. I gave it a 7.5.

Quan yi was living with ML before the avalanche accident. Then she was kidnapped and ML found a woman left in the snow with Quan Yi ID. and he had plastic surgery done on her. Then that woman, xiao dong, lived with him afterwards. I know it is confusing.

I believe Song Xio Dong loved ML. They both loved each other but because of what he did to her there was a lot problems between them. Finally they solved all of their issues and that is why the ending is so unsatisfactory. They were not twins. Ml had the doctor do plastic surgery on Song Xio Dong to make her look like Quan Yi, the violinist. Hope this helps.
I couldn't have said it better! I'm getting to the same point. It's almost like the K-writers are copying some…
Wow, from LA area to Seoul! Because of these Asian dramas, next year we plan on visiting Korea, would be the first time to visit Asia in general. In Korea, particularly its architecture and art.
Natives don't always appreciate what they have. (me included!). The Term "Soap Opera" has ruined the reputation of some great Asian dramas.
Yes, do check "You are my spring." I hope it ends well and not hanging out there. Also the scary part does't last a long rime.

I watch a wide variety of dramas. I live in California where US movies were made famous. Raised on Hollywood movies, I began to be tiresome of its movies. I began exploring different films from different countries Than I discovered a bunch of Asian movies. Bingo! I loved the difference, Now, unfortunately it is becoming increasingly hard to find good Asian dramas but there are gems here and there.
I would watch "You are My Spring". The ML is excellent - calm, non Korean stereotype in looks and demeanor. There is a mystery about adult twins where either one of them have committed murder or suicide. That's the scariest part. It does get creepy.
If you really feel like crying watch Navillera on Netflix. Such a beautiful, inspiring series - not too many episodes. Has Song Kang as a ballerino and he is fantastic in it.

That's a hell of a lot of service dropped! Most of these K-dramas keep using repeated ad nauseam tropes: long time passing, repeated separations, rush to the ending, memory loss etc.
I'm watching "Navillena" and "You are my Spring" on Netflix. Let's hope these end with some resolution.
And... let's see what "Love Marriage and Divorce" Season 2 brings us at the end.
Seriously you would be good at helping those writers really write! Great back and forth!
A conclusion like this just leaves a bad aftertaste on all the previous episodes. What was the writer thinking????…
I couldn't have said it better!
I'm getting to the same point. It's almost like the K-writers are copying some American movies where the end is open-ended. Very foolish of them. Do they think that they are being creative by having an open-end? I think it is sloppy writing. I watch these dramas for uplifting, not for sadness.
What is actually maddening is that they wasted two of the best actors (MLs)'s acting ability on such a stupid Ep 16. From now on, I'm going to wait until the series end to read the comments and then watch the series.
Thank you SoultoSeoul! Maybe you ought to go into script writing!
A lot of film footage dedicated to everyone that worked in the office except for the main couple. Good build up but the end was very disappointing. They ended up living in separate houses, just because the FL's father did something wrong. Three years elapsed and they met again and she showed the house she built. Could have been a 9+ but because of the ending and the time misspent on all the office workers' issues, I would give it an 8 Excellent acting, as always, on the part of the ML's. Very believable. They are both exceptional.
I had never realized that some C-Dramas end with open ending until you brought it up. My Dear Guardian also had a somewhat non satisfying ending. I am really impressed with Oho Ou but because I didn't even know he existed, I don't know the roll he played in My Dear Guardian.
I'm sorry I may have spoiled your watching Lover or Stranger but it really left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The rest of it is really good but the ending......yuk!
Episode 15 could have been better, and the story of her father wasn't needed, hope episode 16 will not end with…
Good point! Only one more episode and they had to introduce the father. What a waste. So little attention was placed on the ML/MF. As main figures, they should have gotten more acting time instead the writers spent useless time on other people instead. Yes, one of those 30 second happy endings.... so useless.
Well, they never really ended up together, he just stood there in front of the restaurant looking in, she sort of glanced out and there it stopped.
It was left to the us to figure out what happened. I watched the ending twice to make sure I saw what I saw.
As I said in another post, the writers need to do an epilogue and finish what they started. The ending was horrid. I think it lowered the rating. I would have rated it at least a 9 because of Oho Ou's excellent acting, the OST, the story etc. but the bad ending dropped it down to 8. I wish I could contact the writers :-)
If I had waited for the drama to be completed I would have watched the ending first. If I had done that, I would never have watched the series.
I just finished and totally disappointed in the end. I felt my time was wasted since the story had no credible…
You said it exactly the way I felt. The writers did it on purpose as if to punish Yu Zee for what he did. Dumb, dumb ending. The writers need to do an epilogue to make up for their bad ending mistake.
