Fully agree with you Lisa! DH is not the right person for her. JE is. He understands her and I do believe they…
Well I think she needs to build up her confidence, her self esteem is neg. I don’t know if her being alone would accomplish that. She needs some help and JE needs to communicate much better if he really likes her.
I found that a lot of viewers have the same opinion on the show and relationship as you do :) For me watching…
You wrapped it up perfectly! Very well said because filled in all the missing parts. Interesting way of analyzing it. Thanks for doing that filling in.
A few things:Why JE is the right partner1. partners are great if they can support each other in areas they need…
I agree, JE is the right partner for her. DH is just a nice placeholder. JE should have told Nabi that his ex-girlfriend had left for good. That could have cleared everything up for her. They don't have good communication even though they like each other a lot.
What is NB's real problem with JE at this point? Did she lose trust in him? Did she think he is not being sincere…
I think she has a very low self esteem and that stops her from all sorts of decisions. She's stuck, liking JE, can't put her emotions into her art, just stuck. Wakeup and decide NB.
Every time when DH & Nabi meets, he started saying bad things about JE....DH is clearly obsessed with Nabi...DH…
Fully agree with you Lisa! DH is not the right person for her. JE is. He understands her and I do believe they both like each other very much. However he should have explained to her that his ex-girlfriend was gone but didn't. Hope it ends well, nevertheless!
They just break up , how many more episode they will back together?
Sadly in most of the C-dramas I've seen, there is a lot of propaganda. Reminds me of the WW2 films I watch on Youtube - flag waving, "chest pounding" etc. However, they do touch on interesting subjects: Bioscience, computers, fashion, etc - subjects that K-dramas don't cover too much. The most recent, "You are my Glory" about space travel.
My favorite C-drama actors are Hans Zhang, Johnny Huang (sp?), and of course the current ML. They are different from K-dramas for sure. Try Love is Sweet, you won't regret it. I live in the US and I don't think the country is America - to me it is maybe some Eastern European country....don't know. What I find weird, is that there are so very few timed comments, you know the one on the top/left of our the screen. Wonder why. Maybe no one is watching or maybe they are watching so closely that they don't comment.

Well I'm on episode 28. I don't know which country they are for the conference, do you know? He seems to "shrink" compared to FL but I don't mind that because of the role he is playing: sensitive, brooding, pensive, all of that. I don't have too many eps to go. Thank you JadedOracle for your comments here. But please watch "Love is Sweet" He seems to come to life in this series, totally adorable handsome. And a really good ending!!!!!!!!

demithinks, you said it so much better than I could have said. I won't even try to add to what you said. He is in a complex, sensitive character with many layers. i like him in this role. His eyes are deep and beautiful. China is lucky to have such an actor. And you are right, for once, we have a role reversal. Thank you demithinks!

In ep 26, I just saw Jiang Xue Ming for the first time. Interesting face and presence. You might be right. The ML/FL are the same age but ML looks a lot younger, possibly for his smaller figure. As I said before, he was wonderful in "Love is Sweet" but in this drama he has to be depressed, grayed out, smaller than normal, just a pitiful figure trying to save his mother and himself. Now that I know who Joang Xue Ming is, I'll play closer attention. But my heart is always with Leo Luo. :-) Thanks JadedOracle.
It's based on haruki Murakami book which is based on surrealism and or realism..it's not a movie for everyone…

So we are MDL friends so we can share a bit morel I agree on the comments for LMD's S2's. I"ll lost mine. Thank goodness I wrote on the ones I watched, most of the time. The MDL comments are mostly against all the 3 men and for all the 3 wives, and against the women lovers. The S2's episodes are deeper than what people think they are and that is why I'm looking forward to S3.
I'm still enjoying this and still love the FL, but her naivete towards other people's scheming in 34/35 is kind…
I've at Ep 25. Thanks for clarifying some stuff. Who is XL? Can't find that in the cast. SQ is really evil. I hope ML and FL end up together and solving their problems but C/dramas don't always end the way we want. Again, thanks!

I'm on eps 25 and I plan on watching it to the end. I hope it ends well. I don't know if the ML and the FL are well cast. The contrast between Leo Luo and Kai Cheng is too much, physically speaking. Every drama that I've watched with Vittoria Song has been somewhat disorganized and many plot holes. (Lover or Stranger, etc). but I adored Leo Luo in "Love is Sweet" So their contrast in this drama is big time.
There is a lot of bio-science, and weird plots but because I like the two Main leads a lot, I would keep on watching it. Only ~17 eps left to go. I think it might get more interesting. On Viki, there are very few timed comments, which is strange.

Hi Waverlyroot! Glad to see you here too! We are unique! :-) love, love, love Burning and I think LMD is a hoot! Can't wait unti Season 3. We should trade drama/movie ideas, I should make a list of say, top 25 that I really liked.
ok my jaw literally DROPPED when young do said "isn't that why you like me? you've always been attracted to scumbags."…
You said it well! Right on!! ML was pretty blunt to FL in the first episodes, badly psycho analyzing her in front of others. His role is not consistent up to Ep 12. Darn, another K-drama trope, dumb breakup. Cheap writing. Oh well, only 4 more eps left. Could have been a contender.
plot is getting a little messy with less emphasis on the mystery part and the romance having too much unnecessary…
I'm up to Ep 12 and it doesn't get any better. Romance is at an extremely slow, over dramatized pace, stretched out a lot. Really like the ML in other dramas but I don't know....we only have 4 more eps left. Hope it ends well.
