A lot of film footage dedicated to everyone that worked in the office except for the main couple. Good build up but the end was very disappointing. They ended up living in separate houses, just because the FL's father did something wrong. Three years elapsed and they met again and she showed the house she built. Could have been a 9+ but because of the ending and the time misspent on all the office workers' issues, I would give it an 8 Excellent acting, as always, on the part of the ML's. Very believable. They are both exceptional.

I had never realized that some C-Dramas end with open ending until you brought it up. My Dear Guardian also had a somewhat non satisfying ending. I am really impressed with Oho Ou but because I didn't even know he existed, I don't know the roll he played in My Dear Guardian.

I'm sorry I may have spoiled your watching Lover or Stranger but it really left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The rest of it is really good but the ending......yuk!

Good point! Only one more episode and they had to introduce the father. What a waste. So little attention was placed on the ML/MF. As main figures, they should have gotten more acting time instead the writers spent useless time on other people instead. Yes, one of those 30 second happy endings.... so useless.

Well, they never really ended up together, he just stood there in front of the restaurant looking in, she sort of glanced out and there it stopped.

It was left to the us to figure out what happened. I watched the ending twice to make sure I saw what I saw.

As I said in another post, the writers need to do an epilogue and finish what they started. The ending was horrid. I think it lowered the rating. I would have rated it at least a 9 because of Oho Ou's excellent acting, the OST, the story etc. but the bad ending dropped it down to 8. I wish I could contact the writers :-)

If I had waited for the drama to be completed I would have watched the ending first. If I had done that, I would never have watched the series.

You may be right, but both scenes were repulsive. I thought the ghost scene gave a little bit of levity, considering all the heavy stuff.

You said it exactly the way I felt. The writers did it on purpose as if to punish Yu Zee for what he did. Dumb, dumb ending. The writers need to do an epilogue to make up for their bad ending mistake.

I watched the whole drama and until the disappointing end, it was intriguing and the acting of Oho Hu was fantastic. He never flinched one second, always on script. Because of his excellent acting I'll have to watch more of his dramas. Vittoria Song was good at playing the dual role but sometimes it was hard to tell who was who. Her acting didn't separate the two very much.
Anyway, very disappointing ending, I guess they ended up together but why didn't the writers have him go into her restaurant instead of standing outside like a lump!
The music, especially the beginning of each episode was really good. Never tired of listening to it.
To all future watchers, expend an open end ending but the rest of drama was very good, especially the children's part in the drama.

Nevertheless is unusual in many ways. Only 10 eps, Song Kang and So Hee do a very believable job of portraying a real life couple where she wants commitment and he doesn’t. Lots of dynamic tension between them. Highly recommend it.

And go to bed with all their clothes on. So unrealistic.

We have 3 more eps, right? I bore my poor husband with all these dramas and he mixes them all together into one big drama. He has watched part of this series and some other ones too but most of the time, walks out of the room :-)
I really love this drama, his step mother and the girlfriend are hilarious together. The ghost is cute too! Thanks Xia fo you comments! Pretty straight forward.

You mean the one in the bathtub? When I see him with clothes on, I can't get that sort of disgusting bath scene out of my head too! Just the whole thing makes me shiver.

What I like about this series, besides the actors and story is that I don't have to fast forward to avoid overly long scenes that don't add anything to the drama.

Yes, the way it's going, SH might end up with PY, not being married but actually having a real relationship with PY and Jia. However the doctor is going to get even worse now that he saw them together. I thought it was interesting that he abruptly took his lover's arm off his arm when he saw PY with SH. The doctor is such an awful man.
We have only 3 episodes left unless they decide to add more episodes.
The one who "enjoys" life now is the ghost. It's so weird to watch him.

You said it exactly. Lots of sanctimony from pretty self righteous comments. BHR lied over and over again. Her speech in front of the reporters was full of lies and innuendos. One evil woman who will not be happy wherever her life leads her.
What is really interesting is how both she and PY are going after SH. Sort of pitiful. I get embarrassed watching them do that.

There are 3 cheaters in this series. (on a scale of 1-10, where 10 is the worst)
#1. The professor cheating with the singer. I give him a 8
#2. The doctor cheating with the actress, I give him a 10+
#3. The lawyer cheating with the gym trainer, I give him a 3.

Why? #1. He was disgusted with his wife's putting on a cream because her wrists hurt. Why didn't he tell her that? Dumb shit of a man.

Why? #2. He had no communication with his wife, he has no center, he is weak as water, bad all the way around. Womanizer for sure to satisfy his ego.

Why? #3. His wife is a shrew. She has no redeeming qualities except looks. She is nasty, miserable woman that will never be happy with anyone she finds in the future. He is a coward but that's about it.

I must have missed that part. However I did not skip any parts. So
again, I ask the same question, other than what YZ did to XD, what else is he blaming himself for? He's obsessive and secretive but he also never defends himself.
