I've never been this excited about a presentation at a board meeting in a drama before 😂 I'm so happy that…
I agree, not interested in the romance (first time in my watching history) but the plot is non-stop riveting. Yah, if she ends up with him, that's ok too.
I am up to Ep 11 and I really like this series. One woman against a group of cohorts who rule the development of the city. Sometimes I fast forward parts that I don't like on other dramas but not this one. No, not missing one single frame! The prejudice against this one woman is legend. I hope the rest of it is as good. C-dramas are also educational too. Who knew about the cement issue? Who knew about the biotech issue? C-dramas are covering these topics from fashion to cement! There is a bit of flag waving but I ignore it.
He is excellent in Navillera. Still somewhat spacey acting *wide-eyed" but what an attention getter, wow! Both young and old were represented well on the drama.
The best kdrama ever! I love nevertheless so Much! I love the stroryline. This drama is different from other romantic…
Sorry for sticking your neck out! I agree with you on all aspects. Acting great, music, really cute, you saw the same side as I saw. The story was not the normal K-drama, thank goodness. And the leads finally grew up!
Yes, she was so annoying at first, with the little voice and childlike behavior etc. But toward the end she was much better. He was exquisite! Not too many episodes but you might want to try it again, sweet ending. I like j-dramas, short too.
I posted my own comment, similar to what you posted above. Basically, She had tremendous insecurities about her…
I don’t think that most viewers that objected to the ending may not have made that connection that the ML and FL reached a new level of maturity. I loved the ending and the small epilogue.
Watch "Love is Sweet" The best of Leo! And he gets the girl! It fun to watch and worth rewatching.
I know what you mean. I watched the last episode. His acting had so much empathy from viewers. We really feel the pain don't we!
Look him up on Youtube and you'll feel so much better. You'll see see him dance, sing. Such a sweetheart, he is. I felt so much better after the disastrous ending of Broker. He's alive on Youtube!!!
I've seen many negative comments so I want to add my positive intake! :))) I was a bit unsure about the ending…
I posted my own comment, similar to what you posted above. Basically, She had tremendous insecurities about her art, relationships etc. After her finished art was accepted, it gave her a big ego boost. I liked the ending. Why not? After going through a lot of turmoil, they turned into real people, enjoying themselves. You said it well, better than what I said on a separate post. Thank you!
In reading all the comments, I feel there is another side. Throughout the drama, Na Bi was very insecure about herself, her art, her relationships with other people, she was pretty listless throughout the drama. It wasn't until Jae Eon came into the picture: handsome, talented, flirt. There was a strong sexual attraction and I didn't see anything wrong with that.
Finally, after her art piece broke into pieces and Jae Eon helped her put it back together, she was finally able to show the audience that she really was a pretty good artist. At that point her low esteem started building up and at the same time, her romance with Do Hyuk was going nowhere, she and Jae Eon finally got together with both building up their self esteem and a genuine like for one another.
There was a big lack of communication.
However, all in all, even though the ML/FL were the only ones I was interested in, I thought it didn't have a lot of tropes and didn't have the standard K-Drama so called "purity."
I loved the OST also. It's 2021, things change, even writers take a stab at a change.

He did as best as he could. The role was difficult, script not easy. There are interviews of him on Youtube and they are very interesting. One in particular where he tours his native town in China. Interesting man.

Yes, it was a very difficult role to play for LL in Broker. He had to play a depressed, anxious, ready to be discovered person, probably different from his real life. However, having said that, I feel that any ML playing with Vittoria Song is at a loss. She, again IMO, sucks the air out of the room! She is beautiful, tall, extremely intense and anyone trying to play the ML is up against it.
I loved LL in Love is Sweet but I agree with you that he should play different roles. From what I read, he is a professional dancer and as such that talent can be used in many different ways.
Karma V, what a nice comments you made! Thank you! I won't go Fast Track though, I'll stop where I am :-) I'm in the USA so I am somewhat restricted, I think. I tried to get the Apple app but could not, so I pay $3+something to Youtube to get the advanced episodes.
I just watched Love is Sweet for the second time! Rarely do that. I just adore that series and especially Leo Luo. Now I can watch YAMG scenes too. Yes, I do compare one series to another, unfortunately, so my standard is Love is Sweet pretty much. I also liked My Little Happiness. Sweet ending.
Thank goodness YAMG might set the bar higher -
Me too, I don't like unhappy endings or endings that are not satisfying like quick rush endings.
is Lovely Bones in English?
Will let you know what my thoughts are after I finish YAMG.
Hi, you are a trove of great information. Thank you! thank you! I will look at those links you sent me. I couldn't find them. You are a great help.
BTW: I finally broke down and signed up on Tencent to watch more than Ep 13/14. Now I can watch most of the rest and then I will join you and others and let you know what I think if it. I'm sure it will be wonderful. Thanks again.
Johnny Huang seems to be playing the same role over and over again: the tough guy with a sort of warm heart underneath. (eg: Something Just like You, My Dear Guardian, Addicted Heroin, Love Designer etc)
However, I liked him and her in Love Designer, especially the last episode!
I hope that Youtube has released more YAMG episodes beyond #14, then I can compare YAMG to Love is Sweet!
