So I'm planning to watch this, despite it being 50 eps long. I'm not sure I'll stick on, but the synopsis reminds…
Sort of combo of Sound of Music and Parasite. Actually other than the wretched mothers in he series who want their daughters to be married to the ML, and also the wretched stepmom, it's actually pretty good. 50 episodes? Not sure but I like the ML.
So I finished watching Ep 3 I love it so far ^^. I feel like young guk needs to express himself better I can see…
Yes, I hope it doesn't turn into a Parasite type drama. The stepmom is a user, the dad is a chump and who knows what the Dan Dan will turn out to be. Interesting series.

Thanks Umair! Interesting about private torrent tracker. Learn something every day. Try "Love is Sweet". romantic, many episodes, Chinese drama, one of my rewatch favorites. Also "My Little Happiness" Chinese is really good. No tropes. Will look into "SweetTeeth".
Too many choices but your MDL ratings >8 with 1K+ users and good subs is a good search. However, I've seen MDL ratings <8 that were excellent.

Yes, the $fanbase$! The series had some interesting moments but if one looks at the entire series as a trilogy, then maybe. But I can't get into that for sure. There are no episodes to rewatch.
Right now I'm watching "One, the woman". I'm having hard time understanding the plot. The volunteered translation seems to not be right. First time that's happened. However it's not boring.
Do you have Viki.com or IQ.com? There are some really good ones on each. On Viki, "You raise me up" is a fantastic 8 episode little gem. And of course Hometown Cha cha Cha on Netflix. Have you seen any of these?
Thanks for your response - no not a fan-fan for sure. :-)
A real gem. Only 8 episodes which go by very fast. I loved every minute of it and Yoon Shi Yoon was more than perfect in it. A rewatch for sure. No silly tropes, no going away for 5 years, all realistic, natural and lesson learning. I give it a 10, in its realism, simplicity and natural. Watch it, you won't regret it.
This is a great one time ride. An extreme tear jerker for me. It served to be a drastic change of pace. Most dramas…
i finished the series last night. What can I say? The romance was always sweet. They had enormous patience with one another. However, there was very little tension between them. All 30 episodes, love, respect, (repeat).
ML was special in every way - his love was eternal but since I didn't watch (and won't watch) the prequel I don't understand some of the comments. Ditto for the FL.
I guess I compare this series with "Love is Sweet". I couldn't wait see the next episode. There was a lot of tension and resolution.
In "Forever and Ever" it was the same love, episode after episode.
The only problems were his and her families. They injected tension but otherwise, the same throughout the episodes. Became predictable.
The score is really low, it offers much more than an average melodrama. The issues discussed here are wide spread…
You're right. The score is too low. The acting is so real; the story is topical, and compared to Hometown cha... I think it is just as good. I like both dramas. Thank you for saying that.
Darn, I wish I could have said it better! You covered it all very well. I liked the series but felt frustrated…
Your English is perfect!!!! You have a good point, she was decisive until she met Wataru - then it went all down the hill, so to speak. She was torn between telling Wataru that she loved him and wanting him to improve.
Maybe she could have hinted to him how she felt but still waiting for him to improve himself. (But I'm not the writer)
I would have liked the writer not to wait until the end of Ep 11, but to give us Ep 10 and 11 a gradual change in her so it didn't feel too chocked at the end.
I'm a little surprised, judging from the comments, I thought this would be another cheesy rom-com that slowly…

I liked the series but felt frustrated by her indecisive nature. It wasn't until the absolute end that she sprung forth and became re-energized.
Unfortunately I'm watching the series from an American viewpoint which is widely different from a Japanese one.
Dean is always handsome and a good actor. I loved him in "Hapimari: Happy Marriage!? "(2016). Watched it on Amazon, of all places.
Wataru's growth was worth watching. I liked that there were no villains and I think that is because there were only 11 episodes. No extra time for those tropes. That is one reason I like J/dramas, short and to the point. For me, it was not a rewatch, I gave it an 8.
I agree, why keep showing those college days, boring and we know it will go nowhere. Enough.
Yes, 14 long years?? I don't know what the writers were thinking of spending so much time on his love for her and I don't think it is finished, from the previews, she wants to spend some time trying to understand their college relationship. Why??? Dumb. Oh well, I still love this series so much that I can always fast forward :-)
Many people didn’t like that line “I am ready” in the drama…was that in the novel? I can’t recall…Anyway…
I'm on Ep 15. I so agree with you! He is a nerd's nerd. They are not easy to communicate with but once they understand then good for both!
I am really enjoying watching this drama. Things are slow but that's nice too. Allen Ren is an interesting actor, with his sad eyes - I will have to watch more of his stuff.
Bai lu is as good as she was in Love is Sweet which was also one of my most favorite dramas and certainly more alive!! (Leo Luo makes things alive)
Seriously, you have a good plan! Oh one more rec: "The Ideal City".

Although the ending was really cute.
